Janice's talent and love for singing led her to become the song leader of Bethel Church of God for a short time. This allowed her to share her passion and her faith with the community. We will always cherish the beautiful moments we witnessed, her captivating voice singing hymns of praise that filled us with the love and presence of the Lord.
Janice's unwavering faith and love for the Lord led her on remarkable and life-changing journeys, guiding and caring for her two children to whom she dedicated her life. Her son and daughter followed in her footsteps, spreading the love of Christ through street ministry, handing out tracts, and telling people about Jesus. Janice even handed out Bibles in Russia, to the point of being questioned by the KGB. Her immense courage and dedication to her faith was truly inspirational.
We stand here today, remembering her selfless love for her family. Tragically, Janice's heart was broken after the loss of her 34-year-old son in May 2022. We grieve her grief and pray that her broken heart is now healed in the loving arms of Jesus.
As we remember Janice, we cannot forget her incredible gift of cooking. Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers were made even more special by her mouth-watering turkey and dressing. We will forever remember those warm, hearty meals, precious family moments, and the love she put into every dish.
Now, we shall revisit a poem that was near and dear to Janice's heart, and I believe it perfectly captures the essence of her unwavering faith:
