But work was not the only thing that drove my son. Richard found joy and camaraderie on the softball field, where he was able to share moments of laughter, competition, and camaraderie with his friends and family. His dedication to the sport was just one example of the diligence he applied to all aspects of his life.

Amidst the pain, Richard found joy in a simple boat ride on the Moose River, a memory that brought him much happiness during difficult times.
Today, as we mourn the loss of Richard, we also celebrate his life and cherish those memories.
Although Richard is no longer with us physically, the mark he left on each of our lives is undeniable. He was a devoted son, a dedicated worker, an avid car enthusiast, and a spirited softball player. His humble and resilient spirit will forever live on within the hearts of every person he touched.
