At times, we are confronted with the pain of loss and wonder how we might find solace. The answer to that question lies in our faith. In times like these, I find comfort in the words of the Bible, specifically John 14:1-3, which reads:
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”
These words serve as a reminder that our faith and belief in God grant us the strength to carry on in the face of loss, knowing that Conrad, too, is in a much better place.

Rest in peace, Conrad Jr., my dear cousin. You will be missed more than words can express, but your memory and the light you brought into our lives will live on forever.
