Obituary Preview: Larry G. Outcalt, 76, of Trafalgar, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019. He was born to Arthur and Helen (Sedam) Outcalt on February 7, 1943 in Edinburgh.

Larry was a veteran of the United States Army serving from September 1966 to September 1968. Larry married Rose M. (Payne) Outcalt on May 6, 1978, she survives. He worked for the Teamsters Local 135 for 27 years, retiring in 2003. Larry loved to go freshwater and deep-sea fishing in Florida. He also enjoyed riding on his motorcycle and to go horseback riding. Larry loved his family very much.

Besides his wife, Larry is survived by his children, Stacey Adams of Bargersville, Kimberly Outcalt of Columbus, Casey (Rick) Morgan of Trafalgar, and Beverly Proctor of Columbus; his sister, Linda (Bob) Lowe of Fishers; nine grandchildren: Tyler, Lacey, Torey, Shaylee, JJ, Nathan, Evelyn, Brian, and Jesse four great-grandchildren: Karson, Raylee, Renna and Mady an uncle; and many nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Helen (Sedam) Outcalt; his brother, Jerry Outcalt; and his sister, Sandra Hacker.

Memorial contributions may be made in Larry’s honor to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231.

A gathering will be held on Tuesday, July 23rd from 4-7p.m. at 105 S. Raymond Ave., Trafalgar, IN 46181. Private graveside services.

The Indianapolis, Indiana native was born May 3, 1931 to the late James F. Crail and Desse Decker Crail.

Helen was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother as well as an Elvis Presley fan.  She was a member of the Salvation Army Church and served as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army for 44 years. Helen is survived by her children; Annette (Elmer) Vibbert, Marcia (George) Foote, Geneviere Roberts, Elwood G. Roberts, Jr., Michael (Renee) Roberts and Dana (Wanda) Roberts, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elwood Roberts; daughters, Yvette Roberts, Vennissa Roberts, Robin Hollinghead, Gerri Roberts and Mari Rose Roberts; her son, Jean Roberts and her brother James Crail.

Visitation for Helen will be from 4pm to 8pm Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Jessen Funeral Home-Trafalgar Chapel.

Obituary Preview: Roger A. Schwomeyer, 77, of Martinsville, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2019. He was born to Carl and Freeda (Whitlow) Schwomeyer on October 6, 1941 in Indianapolis.

Roger worked for Busch Stadium as a young man. He later worked at Mechanics Laundry. Roger also worked as a landscaper for Butler Garden Center for 25 years. He enjoyed watching baseball. Roger loved listening to old country music. He loved spending time with his family.

Roger is survived by his children, Greg Schwomeyer of Martinsville, Jeanna (Mike) Dillow of Martinsville, and Jennifer Schwomeyer (Tiffany) of Indianapolis; his brother, Jack Schwomeyer of Pittsboro; his grandchildren, Megan (David) Martin, Samantha (Kyle) Cridlin, and Lucas (Alise) Dillow; and his great-grandchildren, Madelyn and Hannah Martin, and Cooper and Emilia Cridlin.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Freeda (Whitlow) Schwomeyer; his brother, Bill Schwomeyer, and his sister, Wilma Brillo.

A graveside service will be Sunday, April 7th at 2 p.m. at Nebo Memorial Park in Martinsville, IN. A gathering will be at the home of Mike and Jeanna Dillow following the graveside services.

Minnie spent her life being a homemaker. Minnie loved spending her time sewing and reading. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Minnie is survived by her children, Sedahia Tedder of Indianapolis, Scott Tedder of Indianapolis, Nathan Tedder Jr. of Indianapolis; and Andre Tedder of Nashville; her grandchildren, William Mendoza, Joseph Tedder, and James Conklin; and her great-grandchild, Lennoxx Mendoza.

Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Tedder; her parents, Claude and Hazel Brinson; her two children, Michelle Tedder and Tonia Conklin; her sister, Wink Brinson; her brother, Horace Brinson; and her granddaughter, Christina Tedder.

A memorial service will be Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church 10701 E. 56th St., Indianapolis, IN 46235. Friends and family may gather at 12 p.m. at the church before the service.

Frank was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a self-contracted house painter. Franks first priority was church. He was a member of the Locust Grove Pentecostal Church in Nineveh.  Frank loved to go fishing and do woodworking.

Frank is survived by his children, Harold Oliver, Violet Oliver-Stacy, and Frank Oliver III; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Frank was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Mary Jane Oliver; his parents, Violet (Higdon) Brock and Frank Oliver; and his daughter, Shirley Oliver-Burkhart.

A visitation January 25th from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a service immediately following at Locust Grove Pentecostal Church, 3522 Peoga Rd., Nineveh, IN 46164. Services will be conducted by Pastor Jay Griffey. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.

Charles loved being outdoors. He worked in the landscaping business for many years. Charles enjoyed going fishing and mushroom hunting. He had a passion for restoring old cars. Most of all, Charles loved spending time with his family.

Charles is survived by his children, Loretta White and Charles Wayne Meredith II; his three sisters, Louise, Marie, and Annie; his grandchildren, Heather Muench, Tim White, Devon White, Jesse White, Haley White, Brittany Wood, Cheyanne Meredith, and Kelsie Meredith; great-grandchildren, Gracie Bolton, Christian Burnett, Ben Meunch, Bryleah White, Skyler Meredith, Kaydence Meredith, Aryana Meredith, and Renaya Wood. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Rosanna Meredith.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; his two sisters, Janie and Roseanne; and his son-in-law, Tim White.

He was born to Julius J. and Alta (Jones) Grabenhofer in 1927. After high school, Julius was enlisted in the Army. From 1960-1965 Julius worked for Ebsco Industries as a salesman in advertising. He loved building and making trails. He was an avid traveler.He was a part of the Masonic Lodge 514.

Julius is survived by his three children: Margie (Bob) Engelhart of Africa, Carol Grabenhofer of Jamestown, and Ronald (Irma) Grabenhofer of Nineveh, two grandchildren:  Amanda Grabenhofer, and Andrew (Melinda) Grabenhofer, and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Pat Thomas.

She was a waitress for many years.  Velma enjoyed sewing, making crafts, flying with her husband, and playing bingo. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Throughout her life she lived in many locations, New Foundland, Guam, and Okinawa, while her husband was enlisted in the Navy and then with the Air Force in the Sea Bees division.

Velma is survived by her children, Sabrina (Ronand) Morris of Franklin and Michael (Karen) McCauley of Indianapolis, 4 grandchildren, Tanya, Lea, Thomas, and Ashley; 3 step- grandchildren, Daniel, Brandon and Kyle; 8 great-grandchildren, Ashton, Shelby, Preston, Logan, Eric, Luke, Ryland, and Aiden; 3 great-great grandchildren, Luke, Alice, and Lilly; and one sister, Dorothy McIntire of 29 Palms, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elroy and Ollie Blanche Gill; her husband, Clarence W. McCauley, three brothers, Lawrence, Clarence, Foyd ; and five sister, Agnes, Laura, Gracie, Blanche, and Peggy.

A celebration of life service will be conducted on Monday, December 4th at 7 p.m. at Greenwood Bible Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Lois Lanham; one brother, Luke Lanham; and one sister, Norma Richardson.

Steve was an avid Oakland Raiders Fan and was devoutly Irish. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, his dogs, and attending the holiday family gatherings.

Steve is survived by his wife, Linda O’Malley of Nineveh; three children, James “Jimmy” Anthony Turner Jr. of Bloomington, Wendy Marie (Ken) Neville of Trafalgar, and Holly Anna (Dwayne W.) Howard of Longview, Washington; two sisters, Laura Day of Washington, and Joyce Hernandez of Kingsburg, California; one brother, Steve (Val) Conley of Oceanside, California; and eight grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne (Padgett) Beauprez of Trafalgar, a daughter, Jessica Oberbey of Trafalgar, his father, Albert Beauprez, and his mother, Mollie Kurz.

Steve was preceded in death by his son, James "Jimmy" Beauprez, two sisters, Sylvia Moore and Beverly Beayprez, one brother, Daniel Beauprez, his step-mother, Carol Beauprez, and his step-father, Donald Kurz.

He was an Army veteran, and a member of the VFW in Whiteland, where he served as the Post Commander, for several years. He also served as the VFW District Commander.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 30th at the Martinsville VFW, 1000 S Josephine St, Martinsville, IN 46151.

Tricha is survived by her children, Benjamin Jayson (Tonia Wechsler-Land) Gold of Nashville and Carey (Allen JimBob) Jones of Indianapolis; her parents, Dwayne Baker and Nancy Zeigler, both of Franklin; two sisters, Cindy Trent of Peru and Sherrie Zeigler Dudley of Whiteland, two brothers, Bobby (Libby) Zeigler of Nashville and Michael (Louise) Zeigler of Seymour; six grandchildren, Hannah Gold, Benjamin Gold, Cody Neville, Shay Neville, Madelynn Land and Dylan Wechsler; and three great-grandchildren, Malayah Miller, Kingston Miller and Kannon Miller.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Jophlin.

The family will be hosting a celebration of life service at 2 pm. Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Pine Tree Hills Clubhouse in Nashville.

She was self-employed as a house cleaner and had worked for Beck Screening and Wavetek Electronics both in Beech Grove. She enjoyed sewing for her family and friends and decorating her house. She loved animals of all kinds, especially her two Yorkies, Sparky and Holly,

Rascal, the pit bull dog, donkeys, Eyore and Patches, Petey the parrot and the wild family of deer that came into her yard, Lulu, the mother deer and her babies.

She also enjoyed boating, camping and scratch off lotto tickets. Linda was the life of a party and if you told her something she would say “I know that!” Survivors include her husband, Arthur Kermode of Trafalgar, two daughters, Wendy Phelps of Indianapolis and Karrie (James) Miller of Trafalgar, three step-children, Sharon (Troy) Park of Bargersville, Karie Kermode of Indianapolis and Kenny Kermode of Greenwood, three sisters, Patricia Dudgeon and Karen (George) Rose both of Indianapolis

and Diana Phelps of Martinsville, two brothers, James Barnes and Leroy Barnes Jr. both of Indianapolis, ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday August 13, 2016

She, along with her husband, Del, were the owner-operators of the Southside Carpet Store, in Indianapolis. Bettie Jean used to work for the city of Beech Grove and was often deputized by the Beech Grove Police Department.

Bettie was an avid bowler.  She enjoyed snow skiing and was a long-time member of the Indianapolis Ski Club.  Additional memberships were in Eastern Star and Bunco Groups.  She used to play high school basketball and graduated a year early.  Bettie raised several rescued Alaskan malamutes/huskies. She loved donating to the Johnson County Humane Society, annually.

She is survived by her two daughters, Debora Crislip of Indianapolis, and Becky (John) McClain of San Diego, California.

Bettie Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Leon and Emma Lou and her husband, Delbert L. Crislip.

A Celebration of Life Service has taken place and no further services are planned. Please send any memorial contributions, in Bettie's honor, to the Johnson county Humane Society.

He served in the Korean War between the years of 1953-1956, he also served in the National Guard for 8 years. He was a graduate of the University of Kentucky with his masters. Claude was a member of the Nineveh Christian Church, the Johnson County Garden Club, the Trafalgar Country Gardeners, and was a Master Gardener. He enjoyed writing articles for the Outdoor Indiana Magazine and the Garden Club. He also enjoyed fishing, bee keeping, photography, and was a wildlife enthusiast. He enjoyed serving the Lord, by going on short-term mission trips.

Claude is survived by his wife of 57 years, Veda Wade of Nineveh, three children, Karyn (Marion) Hakes of Franklin, C. Michael Wade, and Susan (Paul) Anderson, both of Nineveh, four grandchildren, Christopher Hakes, Jacob, Luke, and Rachel Anderson all of Nineveh, and two nephews, David (Susan) Chiles and Mike (Wanda) Chiles, both of Georgetown, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by one sister, Frances Ann Chiles

A service, with military honors, is being conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Nineveh Christian Church, 1261 E. 775 S. Nineveh, In. 46164.
