Donna is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Deloris Behnke and her brother Tom Behnke. She also leaves behind Cupcake and Nala, her puppies, and Sandy, Gigi’s kitty. Mom, you will be missed more than you could ever imagine. You were the rock that held this family together and you always made sure we felt loved. I can’t believe you won’t be calling us to see what is happening on Kim’s porch, asking what time the game is on, or to come pick you up to go sit by the pool. Your voice always brought a smile to our faces. There definitely is no love greater than a love between a mother and her daughters. Life will never be the same without you!
Nana, we know your grandkids were your world. No one was more important to you than each and every one of them. From making us noodles after school, celebrating with your birthday twin, making us fried egg sandwiches in the morning, your crazy dance moves, practicing baseball in the front yard or texting us just to tell us to drive safely, no one ever showed us more love. Having a Nana like you was like having another mother, just without any rules.
Visitation will be from 9AM - 11AM on Friday, December 8, 2023, at Zapata Funeral home at 445 N American St in Stockton, CA. A private visitation for her children and grandchildren will be from 11AM - 11:30AM and then graveside services will be at 12PM at Stockton Rural Cemetery at 2350 Cemetery Lane where she will be laid to rest next to her mother, father, and brother.
