Ida is preceded in death by her parents, Silvio and Maria Vitelli, her beloved husband, Bernard III, her siblings Dominic Vitelli, Gilda Borghi, and son-in-laws William "Bill" Whiteman and Daniel Carr.
Ida dedicated her life to caring for those she loved, who in turn cared for her in her final years. She is survived by her daughters Mary Whiteman, Bernadette Carr, and Helen (Robert) Sontos. Ida is also survived by her sister Eleanor Coraluzzi, her grandchildren Bernard Whiteman, Brian Whiteman, Daniel Carr, Shane (Tori) Carr, Gus (Tiffani) Rosanio, and Gabe Rosanio, as well as her great grandchildren Gussy Rosanio Jr., Dominic Whiteman, and Zylla Bianco, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 10:00am-11:00am at Eugene J. Zale Funeral Home located at 712 N. White Horse Pike, Stratford, NJ 08044, followed by an 11:00am service at the funeral home. Burial will be private.

He was a graduate of St. Joesph's University in Philadelphia and Washington Theological Union in Washington, DC. Father Capella was ordained as a Pallottine priest in St. Joseph's Parish in Hammonton on June 2, 1990 by Most Reverend James McHugh. He served at Our Lady of Pompeii Parish in Brooklyn, NY from 1990 - 1996. Father Capella served as a teacher, chaplain and the rector of Bishop Eustace Preparatory School in Pennsauken from 1996 - 2003. In 2006 Father Capella was incardinated into the Camden Diocese and served at Saint Vincent de Paul Parish in Mays Landing. He served as pastor of Saint Luke Parish in Stratford from 2006- 2009. From 2009 - 2016 he was pastor of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Lindenwold. In 2016 Fr. Capella was assigned to Camden Catholic High School as Director of Catholic Identity. In 2018 he was appointed as Rector at CCHS by Bishop Dennis Sullivan. He also served as a member of the bishop's College of Consulters and on the Presbyteral Council. Father Capella was a member and Chaplain of The Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Society in Hammonton. He formerly served as chaplain for the State of New Jersey Son's of Italy also served as National Chaplain. Father Joe was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Nina Capella and his niece Heather. She appreciated the little things often missed in our daily lives. June had a love for reading, she was rarely without a good book close at hand. June leaves behind many, many friends, two loving daughters, son-in-law, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She especially enjoyed spending time with friends at shows and concerts including Ellen Carrigan, Jeane B. Hughes and Maryann Signorelli. June has joined her lord Jesus in heaven, being a faithful Roman Catholic her whole life. June got an early introduction to her faith studying at Hallahan Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia. She was a faithful member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church for over 40 years, singing in the Choir and attending services regularly. June passed on her love for reading by reading to the children attending St. Lawrence Catholic School. June was married to Joseph E. Hughes (USN Veteran) for 46 years. They enjoyed being involved in their church and community, June would help with Joe's successful campaigns for local offices. June and Joe and their children traveled and enjoyed visiting new cities and areas of North America and Ireland. June had a long and successful career working in the Federal Government for the Social Security Administration. June was a trailblazer in her role at Social Security, obtaining the position of Supervisor at a time female supervisors were unusual. June was able to use her role as supervisor and Union Representative at Social Security to mentor women coming up in the ranks, helping to lay the groundwork for a more inclusive and understanding workplace. She was awarded numerous commendations and awards during her career and for her volunteer service in several organizations. June lived independently for many years, June recently had enjoyed the opportunity to live with both daughters for some time. June really enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was well cared for and deeply loved. June's loving husband Joe, and son Joe Jr. preceded her to heaven. Her daughter's Peggy, Kathy, Kathy's (Paul), Grandchildren Austin, Joe and Caroline (Brandon) and great-grandchildren Carson and Faith thank you for your prayers in this difficult time. She enjoyed travel, family gatherings, Sunday dinners, and trips to the shore. We are comforted knowing the memories of her dear family, friends, and life experiences will be restored, after the last few years of dementia cruelly denying her the joy of those memories.
