Obituary Preview: Leominster - Mary Jo (Campbell) Pochini Lazarou passed away on May 12, 2024.  She was born May 9, 1939, and was the daughter of John and Dorothy (Collins) Campbell.  Mary Jo was born in Leominster and also lived in Fitchburg and Boston. She was an administrative assistant at St. Elizabet's Hospital, Leominster Hospital and held several other positions at Burbank Hospital and Digital.  She was also involved with the Kingsmen for many years.  Mary Jo enjoyed: dancing, dogs, gardening and playing cards.
She leaves her son John (Jay) Pochini and his wife, Gina, of Lunenburg.  Mary Jo's daughter, Susan, predeceased her in 2010.
Her loving grandchildren; Jordan and Julia Pochini and Cherish Racine will miss her greatly.  Mary Jo also leaves a sister Madeline Flicker and her husband, Robert of New Hampshire, along with their loving children.  Her sisters, Jacqueline Campbell and Jeannine Cassis, and her brother John Campbell, also predeceased her.
Mary Jo attended several catholic churches in the cities she lived in.

LaFleur, 75, of Leominster, died May 6, 2024, in Emerson Hospital, Concord, after an illness.  He was born April 26, 1949, in Leominster, MA, son of the late Robert E. and Mildred A. (Kendall) LaFleur.  Bob worked as a Union Bricklayer in the construction industry.  He was the Head Mason for the Trustees at Crane's Beach Reservation in Ipswich, MA. Bob served in the US Marine Corp for six years,  where he received the Good Conduct Medal, Rifle Marksmanship-Sharpshooter Badge,  The national Defense Service Medal and  achieved the rank of Sergeant.
Bob is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joyce A. (Conti) LaFleur of Leominster, one son; Fitchburg Firefighter Lt. Robert Bruce LaFleur Jr. and his wife Gina of Fitchburg, one daughter; Nannette LaFleur of Leominster, one brother; Stanley W. LaFleur of Houston, TX, two sisters; Laura C. Harrington of Townsend, MA and Pamela A. Merritt of Fitchburg, MA.  He also leaves his grandchildren; Stevie Tucker USN, JonPaul R. LaFleur ,David B. LaFleur, Jamie LaFleur, Elizabeth LaFleur,  Brianna Russo, Kane Russo, Robaer LaFleur and one great grandson, Luka Tucker, and a godchild Samantha Angelini.  He also leaves many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. (Bouchard) Spring Jr.   Annabell was a self-employed Accountant for many years and had also worked at Wyman Co. of Leominster.
She is survived by her daughter; Lisa Scipione and her partner Richard Bushnell of Leominster, her grandson; Michael Ghilardi and his wife Kaytlin, along with nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Annabell was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Scipione in 2015 and her sister Marion Frye.
Annabell's funeral will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West St., Leominster.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster. A calling hour will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home, prior to the service on Tuesday.

She was given an 'Honor Walk' due to being an organ donor. Carina passed away peacefully in the arms of her mother.  She was born April 8, 1988, in Fitchburg, MA, daughter of Gloria Allen and the late Robert Allen-Parkhurst.  Carina was a Leominster High School Graduate, Class of 2006, she earned her Bachelor's degree at Worcester State College graduating Class of 2010 and received her  Master's Degree from Assumption College Class of 2013.  Carina worked as a Specialized Therapist in marriage counseling.  She was an avid reader of mid evil history, loved the arts, opera, ballet, museums, hiking, bicycling, enjoyed kayaking and loved the outdoors.
Carina is survived by her mother, Gloria Allen of Leominster, two aunts; Grace (Allen) Miller of Gardner, MA, Gail Allen of Clinton, MA and many cousins.  She was predeceased by her father, Robert Allen-Parkhurst and an uncle Robert Miller.
Funeral Services for Carina will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 1:30 pm in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster, MA.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster.  A visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until 1:30 in the funeral home, prior to the service.

Debra is survived by, two daughters; Sierra Lozeau and Sydnee Mendolusky, both of Leominster, her mother; Annie Lozeau of Leominster, three brothers; Larry A. Lozeau of Florida, Joseph A. Lozeau of Tennessee and Ricky T. Lozeau of Leominster along with one sister Tina A. Lozeau.  She also leaves nieces and nephews: Emily Lamariene, Cora Lozeau,  Danielle Lozeau, Nick Lozeau, Justin Belliveau, Tyler Belliveau.  She was predeceased by her father Alfred Lozeau and a sister Jeannie Belliveau. Obituary Preview: Leominster-Karen R (Reardon) Cormier, 56, passed away on April 3,2024 at Health Alliance Clinton Hospital after a 3 year battle with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma. She was born August 7,1967 in Fitchburg, MA, the daughter of Thomas L and Carolyn M (Cashman) Reardon and was raised in Leominster. She was a graduate of St. Bernard’s High School Class of ‘85 and studied Hairdressing at Wilfred Academy in Worcester. Over the years she was also a waitress and an EMT. Karen loved going to the beach and watching the Investigation Discovery (ID) channel. Her personality filled the room and her laugh was infectious.  She will be remembered for her tenacious fight of this disease as well as other challenges.  She faced them all  while maintaining her upbeat attitude and for that we will remember her fondly.
She is survived by her son, Daniel Cormier and his girlfriend Alyssa Percival, her brother Thomas Reardon and his wife Susan, her sister Kelly Bell and her husband Robert, nephews and nieces, Douglas Reardon and his fiancee Sabrina, Andrew and Abigail Reardon, Kristin Holmes and her husband Ryan, Brendan Bell and his fiancee Brittany and Patrick Bell. She also leaves an Uncle, John Reardon and Aunts Margaret Killeen and Judith Kelley and many cousins as well as her in-laws, Sandra Cormier and the Wolferseder family. She was predeceased by her husbands, Dieter J (DJ) Wolferseder and Tracey Cormier as well as her parents.
Her family would like to thank her team at the Head and Neck Cancer Center at Dana Farber Cancer Institute for their compassionate care over the last 3 years.

Leominster - M. Barbara (Martin) Landgraf, age 94, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2024. Born in Leominster on October 20, 1929, she was the beloved wife of the late Edwin Landgraf, daughter of the late Nelson and Alfreda (Babineau) Martin. Barbara graduated from Leominster High School in 1947 and Leominster Hospital School of Nursing in 1950. She was the Industrial Nurse at E. I. DuPont for 3 years, then worked as a Registered Nurse at Leominster Hospital for 37 years. She was the Surgical Day Care nurse for her last 17 years, retiring in 1993.
Barbara enjoyed knitting and was an avid reader. She and Ed loved to travel. She was a member of St Leo’s Parish since 1953.
Barbara leaves 4 children, Brian Landgraf of Exeter, NH, Nancy and Richard Bernier of Nashua, NH, Wade Landgraf of Leominster and Linda and Ronald Abreu of Lancaster, MA, her grandchildren Danielle Madden, Matthew Landgraf, Colleen Nardello, Eric and Michael Abreu, 5 great grandchildren, Kaylee, Ainsley, Anthony, Rosalyn and Mason, nieces and nephews and daughter-in-law Barbara L. Landgraf. Barbara is also survived by her sister Beverly (Cosenza) Daly. She is predeceased by her in-laws, Gerard and Dorothy Landgraf, Fred and Madeline Murphy, Louis Landgraf and Eugene Landgraf.

Anna M McCarthy - December 22, 1929 - March 28, 2024

Obituary Preview: Leominster -  Anna Mary (DeLibero) McCarthy left this world on March 28, 2024 to spend Easter with the Lord. Anna died of natural causes after a period of declining health. Anna was the daughter of Pasquale and Mercy (DeCarolis) DeLibero. She was predeceased by her daughter, Sharon Ann Risolo, brothers NIcholas and John DeLibero, her sister Assunta Testa and her ex husband Joseph Louis McCarthy.
Anna is survived by her son, Lance (Joanne) McCarthy, her granddaughters, Meghan (Jon) Henrie, Rebecca and Caitlin McCarthy and her great grandchildren, Julian and Evelyn Henrie. She also leaves three nieces, Cindi Peterson and her children Darci and Danny, Paula (Mike) Skehan and their son Bret and Darlene Corda and her daughter Lesley (Katie) Majeski.
Anna was born on December 22, 1929 in Leominster and was a 1948 graduate of Leominster High School and served on the Reunion Committee for 50 years. She was a 1949 graduate of Elizabeth Ollis Beauty Culture and practiced for a number of years for Henry Beauty Salons of Worcester and Fitchburg. Anna then went on to work as a secretary at former E.B. Kingman’s, Leominster Hospital and retired after a long career at Leominster City Hall. In retirement, Anna worked with Hospice Care and as a reliable lift to her driverless friends.
In her youth Anna enjoyed ice and roller skating and ballroom dancing. She was a dedicated mother, also serving as a Den Mother for her daughter’s brownie troop and rarely missed her children’s many sporting events. In her later years, she enjoyed watching her three granddaughters grow into the beautiful women that they have become and was in total awe of her great grandchildren. She enjoyed long walks with her beloved Pomeranian, Benji, as well as bird watching, especially red Cardinals. Anna was a lifelong parishioner of St. Leo’s Church.
The family would like to thank Sunrise Assisted Living and Sterling Village for their compassionate and heartfelt care. Mother: we find comfort in knowing that you’re at peace with our Lord, Amen

Eugene and Ruth (Clark) Crawley.   Jane had worked as an administrative assistant for Medical Associates Pediatrics in Leominster.  Her hobbies included reading, knitting, and crochet. She also enjoyed traveling, and recently spent time in Florida with her sisters.
Jane is survived by her three children: Mark Davis and his wife Erin of Templeton, MA; Andrea Davis of Fitchburg, MA; and Amy Muldoon and her husband Chris of Hubbardston, MA. She is also survived by two sisters: Barbara Daly of Gardner, MA and Joan Thompson of Perkins, OK.
She also leaves her grandchildren: Thomas Muldoon, Jo-Anne Muldoon, CJ Muldoon, Angelina Davis and Juliana Davis.

Eleanora "Skip" B. Bissonnette - July 23, 1917 - March 14, 2024

Obituary Preview: Leominster - Eleanora "Skip" B. (Capone) Bissonnette, formerly of 32 Clark St., Leominster, MA, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home, on March 14, 2024, at the age of 106.  Born in Fitchburg on July 23rd 1917, to James and Louise (Lambert) Capone of Fitchburg, she was the third oldest of seven children, and the oldest resident of Leominster at the time of per passing (2nd overall in the city).
Though an injury at age 19 left her with half a lung, she lived a full active life.  She worked at Lunenburg Schools, Onyx Catering, W.T. Grant, housekeeping and in manufacturing; volunteered at HealthAlliance Hospital, Senior Center (honorary board member, Council on Aging), voting polls, and food banks; member of the Ground Observer Corp (aircraft spotter) in WWII, Emblem Club, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 151, and singing groups; The LGB's, Madlynairs, St. Leo's Chorus, Unicords and the Chordelles.  She had a love for birds, fishing, arm wrestling and playing cards (Rummy).  Her hobbies included dancing, gardening, cooking, watching soap operas and Avon.  She also enjoyed her trips to Montreal and Quebec City, Canada and the Shrine of Punta de Maria.
Including her parents, she is predeceased by her step-mother; Bernadette Capone,  husband; Raymond L. Bissonnette, sisters; Althea V. (Raymond) (Joseph) Gallant, Lena (Lawrence) Brooks, Tina (Paul) Sassaville, Ester C. (Richard) DeCarolis, brothers; James (Jeanette) Capone, Francis W.R. (Helen) Capone and niece Louise M. Read.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (David) Henderson, son, Raymond Bissonnette, granddaughter, Amanda (Robert) Henderson, all of Leominster, granddaughter, Christina (Jeffery) Chamberlin of Vermont, grandson, Ray Bissonnette, granddaughter, Mignon (Jamie) Bissonnette, of Florida, sister-in-law, Jeanette Capone of Athol, plus many nieces (great), nephews (great) and cousins.
Eleanora's funeral will be held Saturday, April 6th, 2024, from Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West Street, Leominster, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Leo's Church, 128 Main Street, Leominster.  Burial will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Fitchburg.  A calling hour will be held Saturday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home, prior to the funeral mass.  Following burial a coalation will be held at Il Forno's Restaurant, 494 Electric Ave., Lunenburg, MA.

Sandra Ricker Angelini - May 16, 1948 - March 11, 2024

Obituary Preview: Leominster: Sandra Ricker Angelini passed away on the evening of March 11th at Clinton Hospital in the company of her loving family, following a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Sandy was born in Leominster, May 16th 1948, the beloved daughter of Stanley Stetson Thompson Ricker and Dorothy (Pierce) Ricker.
Sandy is survived by her husband Peter A. Angelini, her brother Stanley (Ley) P. Ricker and Sister-in-Law Cathy, Brother-in-Law Stephen Angelini and his wife Jean. Six nieces and one nephew. Sandy was very close with her cousins and loved spending time with them at Gravely Beach Farm in Marshfield, Massachusetts.  Together they sang the old songs of Kinderkamp, a summer camp established by her parents in 1938, that has nurtured and still nurtures generations of local children.
Sandy was predeceased by her parents, her sister Cynthia Ricker, and her very special four-legged friend Ruby.
Sandy was most comfortable in the woods or on the water. She inspired many children by sharing her vast knowledge of all things in nature and its many fascinating critters.
Sandy lived by the credo “the joy is in the giving” deriving great pleasure while helping others especially in their time of need.
Her family is extremely grateful for the care and compassion extended by the Visiting Nurses, Aides, and the Staff and Hospice Care Team at Clinton Hospital.
There are no calling hours or services per Sandy’s request.
Sandy will be remembered at her favorite place with a celebration of her wonderful life at a later date. To honor Sandy, please do a good deed for someone in need or consider adopting a pet from a rescue shelter.

Doris c Stebbins - March 20, 1919 - March 01, 2024

Obituary Preview: Nashua, NH - Doris Stebbins passed away peacefully on March 1, 2024; 19 days short of her 105th birthday after a long battle with dementia.
Doris was born in Leominster on March 20,1919 to Joseph E and Stella (Toutant) Lyonnais. She attended St Cecilia elementary school and May A Gallagher Jr High school.
Doris met the love of her life Charles (Augie) Stebbins while roller skating at Whalom Park in Lunenburg. They married in April of 1939 and had 3 children - Barbara, Richard and Kevin.
Doris was an incredible seamstress (this was a Lyonnais gift) making all kinds of men and women clothing, Barbie doll clothes, evening gowns, men’s suits and even a bimini for her daughter’s sailboat.
Doris took great pride in all work she took on.
She worked for Ellana Dress Company making doll clothes and even worked at home while pregnant with Kevin. Later Doris became a lab analyst for Vertipile.
She was a big part of Onyx Catering working with her brother Charlie making salads, finger sandwiches and her famous apple crisp for desserts.
Her cooking was outstanding as well. She was known to make her famous homemade marinara sauce, gnocchi and spaghetti for family gatherings. But, it was her fudge at Christmas time that stole the show.
In relaxing you could catch Doris watching a television show while knitting or crocheting and she would never miss a single stitch. She loved traveling. She would plan vacations with her lady friends to, Europe and Hawaii. And if Liberace or Perry Como were performing in the area, she would be in her glory as she was going to see them.
She is survived by her children Barbara Carlson (David) of Palm City, FL, Richard Stebbins (Sue) of Nashua, NH, daughter in law Christine Cota of Westminster, a granddaughter Jessica (Anthony) McGeorge of Leominster, Grandson Wayne Arsenault of Quebec, Canada, great granddaughters Ali Brassard of Fitchburg, Kendra McGeorge of Leominster and a great great grandson Ryder Cooper of Fitchburg, and her sister, Irene Cormier of West Boylston.
Besides her parents, Doris was pre-deceased by her husband Augie, son Kevin Stebbins, and siblings, Roger Lyonnais, Evelyn Rainville, Robert Lyonnais, Charles Lyonnais.

She was born May 24, 1933 in Harvard, MA, is the daughter of the late Herbert and Rufaye (Whitney) Blackwell.
Mary was a 1951 graduate of Bromfield High School in Harvard, MA. She eventually went to work for the Leominster School system in the cafeterias. Before retiring she was the director for the entire Leominster School Food System.
She had many hobbies like sewing, gardening, dancing and singing and she loved to feed and watch her birds and squirrels. Mary was also an avid walker, for many years she would often walk 5 miles a day. She was also a member of the Crystalite Club and a long time Red Cross volunteer. One of her favorite days to celebrate was May Day, she would start in January making May baskets for the celebration and to raise money for the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Charles R. Kimball, Jr and a brother Wayne Blackwell of North Carolina.
She is survived by her son Charles W. (Chip) Kimball and his wife Mary of Leominster, her son Reid H. Kimball of Park City, Utah and her daughter Wanda D. Kimball and her wife Donna of Concord, NH. Two brothers Elliott Blackwell of Massachusetts, Lewis Blackwell of Kansas and a sister Bernice (Bunny) Thompson of NH. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and great nieces and nephews.
Mary’s funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 11:00 am, in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West St., Leominster. Calling hours will be on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, prior to the funeral service.

He was born March 29, 1958, in Clinton, MA, son of Stella (Litterio) McNamara and the late George Patrick McNamara.  George was a graduate of Clinton High School.  He received an Associate Degree in Electronic Technology from Worcester Junior College and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from Lesley College.  George had worked in the IT Department of Digital Equipment Corporation for many years, after which time he worked at UMass Memorial Hospital.  He was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and St. Leo's Church in Leominster.
George met the love of his life Carol at the Rendezvous Disco in Worcester in 1979 and kept dancing through life with her, through the challenges of life, and the joys of life.  George loved seeing concerts and it was widely known that he saw over three hundred live shows, with the rock band KISS being his favorite.
George is survived by his wife Carol (Scaramuzzi) McNamara of Leominster, one brother; Brian J. McNamara and his wife Cindy Doucette of Worcester, his sister-in-law; Diane Grubis and her husband John of Colorado, nephews; James McNamara and his wife Emily and niece Jillian McNamara, a great nephew; Jonah McNamara.
George's funeral will be held from Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West St., Leominster, MA, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 2nd, in St. Leo's Church, 128 Main Street, Leominster.  Burial will follow in St. Leo's Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 1st from 4:00 - 6:00 pm in the funeral home.

Pellecchia, 81, of Leominster, died February 21, 2024 in Apple Valley Nursing Home, Ayer, MA.  He was born May 27, 1942, in Leominster, son of the late Joseph and Ethel I. (Hill) Pellecchia. David served in the US Army for six years. He had worked for family for many years in the masonry/concrete business. He then worked at Jeffrey Philbin fuel.  He would read every night to teach himself about how to become a service technician.  He became a propane tech and worked at Ostermann Propane for over 20 years.  David was respected as President of the Leominster Sportman's Association for a time and was very involved in the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 14. He was a member of the Order of the Arrow and also a Scout Master for years.   He enjoyed gardening and passed that interest along to his kids and grandkids.  He had a friendly competition with his neighbor as to who would get the first Red Tomato of the season.
David is survived by his wife of almost 55 years, Norma (Flagler) Pellecchia, his children; Laura Carter and her husband Dennis, Kenneth Pellecchia and his wife Laurie, Adam Pellecchia and his wife Kelly, his grandchildren; Danielle Dowd and her husband Jay, Erik Carter, Andrew Carter, Emily Campbell and her husband Shawn, Joshua Pellecchia, David Pellecchia, Jacob Pellecchia, Gabriel Pellecchia, Jordan Pellecchia and Alex Boulet, a great grandchild; Joseph Dowd V.  He also leaves his siblings; Frances George, Richard Pellecchia and his late wife Terri, Vincent Pellecchia and his wife Carol, Stephen Pellecchia and Kathy, Maria Richardson and her husband Gary, Cynthia LaFleur and her husband Roger, Stacy Chabot (godson), Tina Carlson and Steven Chabot.
David was predeceased by his father, Joseph "Joe" Pellecchia, and stepmother, Theresa (LaPointe) Pellecchia, who lovingly brought him up and was considered as his mother, brothers; Phillip Pellecchia and Robert "Bobby" Pellecchia and sisters; Lelaine Sicard and Jennifer Pellecchia.
The family would like to recognize Apple Valley Center of Ayer, where David received excellent care.

Betty was predeceased by her husband of 54 years; Charles E. Lynch in 2012; her son James Lynch in 2007, daughter-in-law Julie Lynch in 2022, along with six siblings.

Violet was best known as a caretaker, of her family and at the Leominster Hospital where she worked as both an employee and volunteer. As a volunteer, she dedicated over 10,000 hours and was named Volunteer of the Year in 2020.
Violet who also went by Mema lived a long and fulfilling life. She was impactful to every life she touched. She leaves behind memories and stories to keep her memory alive.
