Obituary Preview: Anita Elizabeth Rausch Beckel, 96, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Memorial Gables in Marysville.
Born July 11, 1925 in Marysville, she was the daughter of the late George L. and Matilda Sophia (Starr) Rausch. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her siblings and their spouses, Irene (Milton) Scheiderer, Robert W.J. (Caroline) Rausch, Harold C. (Doris) Rausch and Erma (Eugene) Wilkins, along with her brothers and sisters-in-law, Marlo (Gertrude) Beckel and Cletus (Joy) Beckel.
On December 26, 1968, in Marysville, she married, Ivan D. Beckel. They lived on the Beckel family farm in Marion. After more than 35 years of marriage, Ivan preceded her in death on June 17, 2004.
Anita is survived by her many nieces and nephews and their families, as well as several dear friends, her church family, and caregivers from Memorial Gables at Green Pastures.
A life-long Christian, she was baptized, confirmed, and married at St. John’s Lutheran Church where she was also a faithful member all of her life. Prior to her marriage, Anita was employed at the Scott’s Company and was a member of the 20 year Club for many years. She was also an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the St. John’s Lutheran Church 12809 S.R. 736 Marysville, with Rev. Jacob D. Heino officiating. Burial will be held at11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 21, 2022 in the Marion Cemetery 620 Delaware Ave. Marion. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 P.M. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the church. The funeral service will be livestreamed on Facebook/jack.heino, beginning at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday. An active, longtime member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Niles, MI, she taught at the church elementary school for over 30 years.
Born November 7, 1941 in Southampton, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Gilmartin) Kelly. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her former husband, Richard C. Wilson of South Bend, IN in May of 2013; a son, Timothy Wilson; and a sister, Helen (Kelly) West.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Wheeler of Columbus; 6 grandchildren; and a brother, John T. (Carol) Kelly of Walnut Creek, CA. No calling hours or services will be held at this time. A Memorial Mass is being planned at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Niles and will be announced at a later date. A 1989 graduate of Harding High School, she formerly worked at Whirlpool Corp. and most recently with Taco Bell in Marion. Always with a smile, she had a giving heart and was ready help anyone. She looked forward to family get-togethers, enjoyed going out to eat and loved going camping, rafting and spending time outdoors. She formerly attended the Solid Rock Church of God in Christ where she participated in the Sunshine band.
Born January 12, 1971 in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of John and Juanita (Bristel) Nelson, Jr. Her father preceded her in death.
Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Juanita Nelson of Marion, a daughter, Aalliyah Campbell of Marion; her brothers, Kamal Nelson of Marion and Jafari Nelson of Worthington; nieces and nephews, Brandon, Paige, Isaiah, Jasmine, Jade, Anquan, Olivia and Jayden Nelson; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family and friends. Obituary Preview: Joseph W. Melish, 75, of New Richmond, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 27th at Sage Park Memory Care Center in Gahanna.
A former nurse and a truck driver, Joe was passionate about helping others and famously known for his gift of talking with everyone he met.  Joe proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1968-1974. From Oct. 1969-Oct. 1970, he served in Vietnam where he was awarded the Combat Medic Badge, a Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Army Commendation Medal and a Bronze Star.  A lover of cars, motorcycles, and fishing, he was a talented photographer and an avid reader who always seemed to have a camera or a book in his hands.
Born November 6, 1946 he was the son of the late Joseph and Zola Frost Melish. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Michael A. Melish; a brother, Louis Melish; sisters, Regina Planck and Mary Ellis and a brother-in-law, Melvin Braun.
He is survived by a daughter, Jamie F. (Ryan Drewry) Melish of Cincinnati; a son, John J. (Lisa) Melish of Marysville; sister, Rose Braun of Columbus, NE and his brother, Sam (Pam) Melish of Troy, Ohio.  He will also be missed by his six grandchildren, Alex Melish, Natalie Williams, Megan, Ryan, Jackson, and Molly Melish.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church 1033 W. Fifth Marysville.  Reverend Fr. Kevin J. Kavanagh will officiate and burial will follow at the church cemetery.  Military rites will be conducted at the cemetery by the Union County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends prior to Mass on Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to the Union County Military Family Support Group.

Obituary Preview: Wayne E. Stearns, 77, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the OSU Medical Center surrounded by his family, following many months of failing health.
A loving husband, father and grandfather, he loved to either sit in the gazeebo and watch the fish in the pond, or sit on the porch and watch all of the birds. With a strong work ethic and sharp mind, he was always trying to solve issues and make something work. He was also an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes football team.
A graduate of McComb High School, he also attended Bowling Green State University where he studied Chemistry. He worked in R&D with Scott’s for 33 years and also farmed most of his life.
Born September 1, 1944 in Hoytville, he was the son of the late Jason and Lulu (Hammersmith) Stearns. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Dale, Kenneth, Paul and William.
On December 9, 1965 in Findlay, he married his wife of over 56 years, Jeanne (Wiggins) Stearns, and she survives in West Mansfield. He is also survived by his daughters, Christina Cook of  Richwood and Diane (Charles) Deardorff of Marysville; a son, James (Delia) Stearns of Galloway; grandchildren, Chad Cook, Megan, Miranda and Logan Deardorff, Jaci Wood, Ajia Gillum, Shannon Deardorff and Mary Lou Willison; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; a sister, Eileen Tyrell of Bowling Green and sisters-in-law, Geneva Stearns of Defiance and Eloise Stearns of Florida.

Obituary Preview: Virginia A. Stanford, 94, of East Liberty, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at the Homestead at Logan Acres following a brief illness.
A loving mother, grandmother and sister, she had a strong work ethic which was on display her entire life. She also had a flare for life to go along with it, making sure to get the most of her 94 years. She loved attending the activities of her children and grandchildren, going fishing, and watching the Cincinnati Reds and the Kentucky Wildcats.
She was a 1945 graduate of Allen Center High School, retired from Bulldog in Bellefontaine where she had worked for 25 years and later worked in the deli at Kroger in Marysville. She was a proud, active President of the Allen Center Alumni Association and attended the Monroe Community Church in Pickrelltown.
Born June 25, 1927 on the family farm on W. Darby Road, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Elsie (Rice) Forsythe. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Stanford; a son, Jimmy McCreary; and her sisters, Janet and Dorothy.
Virginia is survived by a daughter, Joyce (Dan) Bushong of West Liberty; sons, Jeff McCreary of Marysville, Joe (Vera) McCreary of East Liberty and John (Lori) McCreary of Marysville; grandchildren, Paula (Don) Magee, Annette (Dale) Teel, Matt (Tanisha) McCreary, Kim Bruce and Joni (Jon) Joyner; grand-fur baby, Phineas; great-grandchildren, Lacey (Mike) Cessna, Chelsie (Cody) Walter, Larissa (Clayton) Adams, Josh, Brooke, Drake, Hayden, Ryan, Rylee, Rayna, Randy, Ron, Chris, Josh, Logan, Shelby, Luke; great-great grandchildren, Bella, Ava, Haven, Blakey, Harper and Jenora; a brother, Francis Forsythe of Owensboro, KY and a sister, Judy Overfield of Indian Lake; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. Jodi Rene' Doll - May 10, 1968 - February 22, 2022

Obituary Preview: Jodi Rene’ Doll, daughter of Bob and Sharon Brashears, was born on May 10, 1968 in Marysville, Ohio and died tragically and unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. To those of us who knew and loved her, she was perfect. She was the epitome of the Golden Rule, an absolute ray of sunshine and was immensely treasured by all who were blessed to know her. Jodi was the vibrant Aunt who supported and spoiled her nephews and nieces, but her greatest love and the absolute pride of her life was her daughter, Megan, and her new granddaughter, Sarah. Jodi was in a loving relationship with David Karr for the last 16 years and they were engaged on November 28, 2020. The family is mourning her loss and the void left by her absence is almost unbearable.
Jodi graduated from Marysville High School in 1986. She attended the University of Cincinnati, University of Kentucky and graduated summa cum laude from Franklin University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.
Jodi started as an Executive Assistant while attending college in Cincinnati and cultivated that into a career that spanned in excess of 34 years. She was a bit of a workaholic and was a reliable and devoted employee of ASI in Dublin for the last 22 years.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Don and Virginia Davis and her paternal grandparents, Charles and Ruby Brashears, her aunt, Wanda M. Ricketts and her uncle, Bill C. Brashears.  She was also preceded in death by her cousins, Kristin M. Butcher and Steven M. Davis.
She is survived by her parents, Bob and Sharon Brashears of Marysville, her daughter, Megan (Andrew) Kinsel of Yankton, S.D., her granddaughter, Sarah, her fiance’, David Karr of Marysville, and his children, Jackie and Zach Karr, her siblings, Shelley (Josh) Smitherman of Marysville, Ryan (Shawna) Brashears of Raymond and nephews and nieces, Kenny (Rachel) Parrish, Luke Parrish, Ruby Holden, Sophia Brashears, Tommy Smitherman, Reagan Brashears, Boyd Brashears and great-nephews, Kenny Parrish III and Ryder Parrish. Also survived by her aunt, Nancy Davis (Randy Cavender) of Marysville, uncle, Steve (Peggy) Davis of Middleport, aunt Liz Brashears of Marysville, uncle Charlie Ricketts of Springfield as well as numerous cousins, extended family and life-long friends. Katherine L. Hoover - June 04, 1926 - February 21, 2022

Obituary Preview: Katherine Kerns Hoover, 95, formerly of Raymond passed away Monday, February 21, 2022 at Memorial Gables.
A loving homemaker, she and her late husband formerly owned and operated Hoover’s Mobil Gas Station in Raymond for nearly 15 years.  She was affectionately known as the “unofficial Mayor” of Raymond. A member of the Old Union Church of Christ, she was a 1945 graduate of East Liberty High School.  Katherine enjoyed volunteering for the Northwestern Lions Club and was a longtime supporter of the Union County Fair.  She loved yard sales and oftentimes would donate the proceeds from her own yard sales to the Liberty Township Fire Department.  She and her family attended the Ohio State fair annually.  Katherine enjoyed stamp collecting and visiting with friends and will be remembered for her love of flowers, gardening, canning vegetables, coloring, word search puzzles and her terrific sense of humor. She also took great pride in supporting her grandchildren by attending musical productions and sporting events.
She was born June 4, 1926, in West Mansfield to the late Sherman and Biance Breece Kerns.  She married Ted N. Hoover on August 21, 1947, and he preceded her in death on October 17, 2004.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by 2 sons, John Hoover and Jim Hoover, sisters, Julia Kerns, Margaret Brooks and Mary Binkley and her brothers, LeRoy, Ralph and Lewis Kerns.
Survivors include her daughters; Cheryl (Andy) Cook of Marysville and Shirley (Bob) Payne of Bellefontaine; 2 daughters-in-law, Stephanie Neil of Raymond and Susan Hoover of Marysville; grandchildren, Chad (Tik) Payne, Jeremy (Angel) Payne, Angela (Shad) Guy, Nikki (Shane) James, Johnnie (Robert) Holbrook, Jennifer Brown, Alistair (Sarah) Neil, Jerred (Sierra) Neil, and Travis Hoover; great-grandchildren, Maddi Payne, Brooke Snyder, Nahla Payne, Derrick & Drew Guy, Alexis, Bryce and Mason James, Makayla and Ethan Brown, Ryder, Jase and Norah Holbrook, and Tyler Payne; a brother, Sherman (Linda) Kerns of Cable; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her second love was work, she was a dedicated kitchen manager with McDonald’s on S.R. 31 where she has worked for nearly 10 years. A 2009 graduate of Marysville High School, she also attended New Horizons Baptist Church.
Born October 5, 1990 in Marysville, she was the daughter of Joyce (Ward) and the late Rees Simpson. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by a niece, Skyler Oldaker.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Joyce and Randy Craven of Marysville; a brother, Justin Simpson of Marysville; her sisters, Tina (Ricky) Oldaker of Marysville and Mackenzie (DJ) Judd of Piqua; nieces, Madison and Mahliky McNew; nephews, Boe and Dolton Oldaker and her grandparents, Earline and Kenny Wallace. Born June 17, 1935 in Mingo, she was the daughter of the late Blaine and Mary (Johnson) Watkins. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Metz; brothers, Jake, Jim, Roger, Ray, Lawrence, Charles and John Watkins; and her sisters, Elsie Spence and Evelyn Markin.
On March 30, 1956 in Urbana, she married her husband of nearly 66 years, Wesley Metz, and he survives in Waldo. She is also survived by a daughter, Patsy (Tim) Campbell of Marion; a son, Bruce Metz of Woodstock; grandchildren, Zachary Taylor, Garret Campbell and Greg (Amy) Campbell; great grandchildren, Zachary, Bradley and Harlow Taylor and Hayden, Karter and Melanie Campbell; a brother, Harvey Watkins of St. Mary’s; a sister, Eva (Charles) Johnson of North Lewisburg; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth, Mary, and Shirley Watkins. Robert L. Merriman - November 20, 1939 - January 25, 2022

Obituary Preview: Robert Lee Merriman, 82, of Marion, went home to be with Jesus on January 25, 2022 at Memorial Hospital of Union County from complications of COVID 19.
A graduate of Mt. Gilead High School, he was a standout athlete on the football, basketball and track teams. He served on City Council in Mt. Gilead, was formerly very active in their Lion’s Club, was an avid hunter and loved to ride snowmobiles. He was planning a trip to ride in the U.P. of Michigan in just a few days. Never one to sit still, he was always working on fixer upper projects around the house.
Robert first owned and operated the SOHIO filling station in Mt. Gilead, then worked in maintenance with HPM in Mt. Gilead, and finally retired from the Whirlpool Corp. in Marion.
Born November 20, 1939 in Broadway, Ohio,  he was the son of the late Richard L. Merriman and Avonella Bea (Wolford) Perry. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Drake.
He is survived by his daughters, Teresa (Hollis) Smith of Zanesfield and Debra (fiancé, Dave Stiving) Merriman of Mt. Gilead; and his granddaughters, Kelsie (Chris) Ward and Jessica (Andy) Colondres. Pastor Jeremy Sarver will officiate a graveside service at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, January 31, 2022 in the Broadway Cemetery. Born May 26, 1956 in Gallipolis, he was the son of the late John and Grace (Chapman) Hornsby.
On June 8, 1992 in Marysville, he married his wife of over 28 years, Kathy (Boerger) Hornsby and she survives in Marysville. He is also survived by his daughter, Kelly Hornsby of Woodstock; his sisters, Linda (Roger) Neff of Piqua and Carol (Brett) Frankhouser of Marysville; along with nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. Obituary Preview: Lucas Dale Barto was born into this world on January 15, 2022 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, and called back to Heaven just a few hours later to serve as one of God’s Angels.
Luke is survived by his parents, Dillon and Emily (Juhola) Barto; grandparents, Christi and Ralph Doak and Denise and Michael Juhola; great grandparents, Mary and Dale Sprang, Mary Taylor and Rosemary Juhola; aunts, Abby Juhola and Jenna (fiancé, Jack Smith) Barto; and his uncle, Alex Doak.
While we are very sad that we had just under nine hours with Luke, we are grateful for his blessing and the opportunity to shower our love upon him by taking many, many pictures of him, holding him in our arms, attending his baptism conducted by Ed Beeson and saying our final “earthly’ goodbyes. We are comforted in knowing that Luke is now in Heaven with our loving God, the many relatives who have gone before him and that one day we will be reunited with him. In the meantime, we will all dearly love, cherish and miss Luke. Services conducted by Ed Beeson will be held privately for the family and burial follow at the Raymond Cemetery. Obituary Preview: Wandell Jay Vinson, 89, formerly of Marysville and currently of Crystal River, FL, where he has resided for the past 33 years, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at Madison County Hospital in London following a brief illness.
Born May 7, 1932 in Kentucky, he was the son of the late Jay and Mary (Adams) Vinson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Vinson; a daughter, Ronnie L. Vinson; a grandson, Michael Shane Erwin; and his brothers, Jerry Marcum, Donald Vinson and Paul Vinson.
A loving father, grandfather and uncle, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed going to the beaches in Florida, and always made time to take any family for a beach day that were down for a visit. He also enjoyed learning about the history of wars and trains. He cared for his 18 beloved cats just like they were his family.
A graduate of Woodstock High School, he began working for the National Guard in Marysville as a mechanic at the age of 17. He was later transferred to the White Hall Armory in Columbus from which he retired.
He leaves behind his daughter, Wandella Vinson of Marysville; grandsons, Shad A. (Annie) Ervin, Shanon J. (Shauna) Ervin and Shaun L. (Lacey) Ervin; 15 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In keeping with Wandell’s wishes, no calling hours or services will be held. A 1961 graduate of Wellston High School, he worked in maintenance at Goodyear for 35 years until his retirement. Never one to sit still, he loved tinkering with just about anything, but especially with small engines and mowers. He also had a love for old cars, his pride and joy was his 1948 Plymouth Coupe he restored with his grandson.
Born November 2, 1942 in Wellston, he was the son of the late Chester and Bertha (Johnson) Combs. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Norris; a sister, Merilee Sims and his brothers, Chester, Jr, Kenny and Wesley Combs.
On January 6, 1962 in Wellston, he married his wife of 60 years, Dorothy (Erwin) Combs and she survives in Marysville. He is also survived by his daughters, Roberta Moore of Marysville, Kathy (Josh) Carter of LaRue and Pam (Jerry) Miller of LaRue; grandchildren, Robert (Kimberly) Drumm, Christopher (Ashlee) Drumm, Erica (Terry) Haubiel, Jerry Miller, Jacob Combs, James Combs, Travis Rice, Dalton Norris and Lacey (Shawn) Irwin; 16 great grandchildren; sisters, Betty, Donna Jean and Juanita; brothers, Cecil, Curt, John and Donald along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends. He was retired from Navistar International. He has been a resident of Sebring for over 20 years. Steven enjoyed martial arts, earning multiple black belts and the highest degrees in several disciplines. He also cherished his yellow corvette.
He is survived by his son, Robert “Bo” (Amy) Spain of Marysville; grandchildren, Joshua (Jessica) Spain, Darren (Shelby) Spain, Hailey (Eric) Cook; 3 great grandchildren, Griffin, Isla and Wren; a brother, Rick Spain (Cathy); a sister, Joy Morrison; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. She loved to make people laugh and had a nickname for all of her loved ones. With her sense of humor and love for a good, cold beer, she was a natural when entertaining people with her funny beer quotes. She had a gift of creativity which showed in her numerous crafting projects. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening and bird watching. Having a love for animals, stray cats always found a home if they came to Val's house. She formerly worked at Duke’s Insurance Agency and also several years at Goodies Galore.
Born December 3, 1963 in Dayton, she was the daughter of Gary Gatliff and Wanda (Poe) Engle. Her father preceded her in death along with the love of her life, Doug Cremeans who passed April 2, 2019. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Gary James Gatliff and her grandparents, Cecil and Frances “Granny Franny” Poe.

A graduate of Marysville High School, she remained active in the High School Alumni Association. Mary Belle was a loving homemaker for her husband and children, and she was always active in her children’s sports and music activities. She was also a faithful member of the Old Union Church of Christ, a longtime 4H Advisor, and a member of the McGuffey Literary Club.
Born January 31, 1932 in Marysville, she was the daughter of the late George and Dorothea (Crabbe) Hamilton. On December 30, 1956, she married her husband of over 43 years, Raymond F. Huey and he preceded her in death on February 23, 2000. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Georgeann Hamilton and Estelle Hamilton; father and mother-in-law, Floyd and Leone Huey and a sister-in-law, Lois Wolford.

A 1962 graduate of Caledonia High School, Marilyn worked at Whirlpool Corporation for 25 years, retiring in 1996.
Born August 12, 1944 in Galion, she was the daughter of the late Russ and Anna (Medley) Paxton. On September 27, 1961 in Wise, VA, she married her husband of 57 years, Dannie L. Straw and he preceded her in death on October 1, 2018. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Linda Carmen and Margie Hicks, and a grandson, Derrec Patrick.

She attended Johnsville High School in Johnsville, OH, worked for the Marion Police Department from 1963 to 1973 as a Meter Maid prior and later was the co-owner of Bollinger's Auto repair in St. Petersburg, FL along with her husband, Frank. She also started her own business, a consignment shop, One More Time.
A member of the Coast Guard and Faith Fellowship Church in St. Petersburg, FL, she enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends, traveling, and spending time with her children, and their families in Ohio and Florida. She loved to go fishing, boating and bowling with her husband. In keeping with Jean’s wishes, no calling hours or services will be held at this time. On September 4, 1946 in Marysville, she married her loving husband of 75 years, Arthur C. Edelblute and he survives in Delaware. Obituary Preview: Arthur (Art) (Bud) Rausch, age 85, of West Mansfield, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Ruth, on November 28, 2021, just one day prior. He was simply broken-hearted.
Art was born on March 24, 1936, to the late Arthur J. and Rachel (Nicol) Rausch. He married Ruth Small on July 3, 1964.  Arthur served in the United States Army Reserve for 8 years and received an honorable discharge on February 26, 1962.  He was proud of his upbringing in the St. John’s Lutheran church and school. And after marrying Ruth, he was a devoted member of the United Methodist Church in West Mansfield. He loved to reminisce about his days farming as a young boy, driving truck with his brother, traveling the United States by truck or RV, and mostly his 32-year career at Westreco in Marysville.  Art took great pride in his family, dogs, lawn, John Deere tractors, and work in general.
In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by his brother Charles Rausch; sisters Juanita Bridges, Norma Forry, and Lora Polk; and nephews John McBride and Jim Trevorrow. Arthur is survived by his daughter Jill (John) Phillips, grandson, Bob (Marla) Green of Bellefontaine; great-grandsons Lane Green of Fairfield; Hayden Green, Gunnar Green and Gavin Green of Bellefontaine. Additionally, he is survived by his sister Charlene Rausch; many nieces and nephews; and cherished friends. Due to COVID precautions and his wishes, a small private gathering and service will be held, and burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery in West Mansfield. Born April 12, 1936 in Johnstown, she was the daughter of the late Ancil Ernest and Stella Ethel (Schooley) McCreary. On August 14, 1954 in Richmond, IN, she married her husband of over 65 years, Charles L. “Cob” Bennett and he preceded her in death on June 17, 2020. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Norma Wilson and Faye Ellingwood; brothers, James and Thomas McCreary and a grandson, Richard Dwayne Little.

An avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes Football team, she loved tending to her flower gardens, crafts of all kinds, working with her dogs and birdwatching at the many feeders surrounding the house.
Born February 14, 1961 in Columbus, she was the daughter of the late Paul Richard “Dick” and Lois (Huey) Wolford.
On July 6, 1991 in Marysville, she married her husband of 30 years, Jeffrey Colwell and he survives in West Liberty. She is also survived by her son, Brandon (Chelsea) Colwell of Springfield; grandchildren, Teegan, Madelyn, Alyssa and Amelia Colwell; a brother, Rick Wolford of Marysville; a sister, Susan (Mike) Barry of Knoxville, TN; 5 nieces; a nephew and other extended family, friends and church family.
