He is survived by his loving sons, Alfredo Jr. (Brenda) Lechuga and Lucas Lechuga; his grandchild, Casey Lechuga; his siblings, Rosa (Arnoldo) Corral, Ana (Mario) Ramirez, Gilberto (Juana) Lechuga, Luz Maria Carrasco, Leticia (Arturo) Jimenez, Felix (Camerina) Lechuga, Roberto Lechuga and Marie Elisa Lechuga; also his many nieces & nephews and his former wife, Sylvia Salazar.
A visitation for Alfredo will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd. (one mile just west of Rt. 31) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 with prayers to begin at 10:00 AM from the funeral home chapel and proceed to St. Monica Catholic Church, 90 N. Kennedy Dr., (Rt. 25), Carpentersville for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:00 AM.
Interment will follow to Dundee Township East Cemetery.

Joe loved cars, coins, coffee, & casinos. Known as the “candy man,” he made it his mission to put a smile on your face! Joe spent his free time bowling, playing Yahtzee, and enjoying Sunday dinners! His greatest joy was being with his grandchildren.
Joe is survived by his beloved wife of almost 50 years, Linda A. (Borden) Pociask; his loving children, Jason Pociask, Jamie (Jason) Haller and Kristen (Justin) McCulloch; his cherished grandchildren, known to them as “Jaju” to Addison, Kaitlyn, Bryson and Mackenzie.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Richard Pociask, Raymond (Tina) Pociask and Anne (Manny) Pinares.

Obituary Preview: Jim Steigert, age 76, of Algonquin, Illinois passed away peacefully on April 18, 2022, with his loving family at his side. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 7, 1945, to parents Edward and Marie (Betchek) Steigert,
He was a proud U.S Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam War era. Also an aficionado of literature, Jim owned hundreds of books, his favorite series being Lee Child’s Jack Reacher. Jim loved to travel, but more so loved the village he called home, Algonquin, where he was a Village Trustee for twenty-two years.  He prided himself on the love he had for the growing village and all of its occupants. Most important to Jim was his family, specifically, his daughter, Judy, who was by his side through all of the highs and lows of his final year.
Jim will always be remembered as the most knowledgeable, supportive, and detail-oriented man who could put a smile on anyone’s face with his quick wit. If he wasn’t able to cheer you up with his personality, he’d make you one of his famous cheeseburgers or a serving of potato salad, which would do the job.
He is survived by his daughters, Judy (Steve) Slominski and Carrie (Vinny) Thomson; his step-daughters, Carolyn (Adam) Lunz and Angie (Rene) Sprunger; his grandchildren, Josh Maurice, Alaina (Matt) Kelly, Victoria Maurice, Valarie Thomson, Tyler Thomson, Devyn Thomson, Rebekah Thomson and Jacob Thomson, Logan ( Sydney ) Smolla and Kai Sprunger; his brother, Norm Steigert and sister Shirley (Cy) Lightfoot.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Carina Lauren Maurice and his brothers, Ron Steigert and Bob Steigert.

Services will be held privately. Her cremains will be inurned at Mount Vernon Memorial Estates in Lemont, Illinois at a later date.

Interment will be held privately. Her cremains will be buried back in her homeland of Poland.

Berwyn had been her home for 30 years where she made many friends.
She is survived by her brothers, John Jr. (Judy) Tenorio of Huntley, IL and Fidel (Jean) Tenorio of Dekalb, IL ; she is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Vincent, Manuel and Raymond Tenorio and her sister Virginia Tenorio Langley.
Visitation for Josephine will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM along with a prayer service to begin that evening at 6:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
A private family interment will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Auburn Memorial Park, 4101 S. Oak Park Ave., Stickney, IL (please meet at the cemetery office).

She is survived by her loving children, Tom (Rheta Murdaugh) Podlin, Tim (Denise) Podlin, Teresa Mehaffey, Tina (Kevin) McMahon and Todd (Robbin) Podlin; her proud grandchildren, Vicki, Eric, Ryan (Kyra), Joseph, John (Alyssa), Brian, Tamya and Javaree; and her great-grandchildren, Cooper and Kaedyn.  She was a dear aunt and cousin to many.
In addition to her parents and brother, Ernest Eaton Jr., Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Walter A. “Wally” Podlin and her former son-in-law, Chris Mehaffey.
Betty and Wally owned and ran a small business, All Seasons RV in Elmhurst, for over 30 years.  They enjoyed traveling to Australia, Austria, Hawaii, Hong Kong, South Caribbean, and Switzerland.  They also enjoyed boating with the family when they lived on Lake Catherine in Antioch.  They were very involved in their church, St. Peters in Antioch, and had many friends in the parish.  They enjoyed doing puzzles together during their retirement years and traveling to their weekend home in Oxford, Wisconsin, where they also maintained many friendships.  Betty loved reading her daily devotional books and the Bible every morning.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 9:00 AM until time of an 11:00 AM chapel service at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd,. (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.

Obituary Preview: Renee Joy Weber, age 80, passed away on March 18th, 2022. She was a former resident of Chicago, Arlington Heights, Lakewood and had been living in Huntley for the past several years.  She had a passion for Disney, Elvis, the Chicago Cubs and enjoyed swimming at the HealthBridge fitness center in Huntley.
She is preceded in death by her husband Herbert J. Weber, parents Laverne and Mauritz Hoglund, and brother Lars Hoglund. She is survived by her brothers Steve (Jan) Hoglund, Ralph Hoglund, and many nieces and nephews.
As it was Renee’s request, cremation rites have been accorded and her final earthly remains will be spread by her family privately.

She was born in Toms River, New Jersey, on August 31, 1936 the daughter of Elsworth and Junita M. (Camburn) Bradford. Some of Sylvia’s love and skills were playing the violine, piano, harmonica and recorder. She enjoyed oil paintings, skiing, golfing, Bible reading and crossword puzzles.
Sylvia is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph John Folina; her daughter, Cathy Snelling Kerry and her son, Curt (Terri) Snelling; her step-children, Lisa (Christian) Toussaint, Lynn Laubach and Loren (Pasquale) Esposito; her 2 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and 9 step-great great grandchildren; her sister, Jean Weaver.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Robert Bradford and Kevin Bradford.
Growing up she attended Belleview School and Belleview Seminary College in Westminster, Colorado that is the home of the Pillar of Fire Church and KPOF radio station. "It was her basic effort to smile, and love and respect everyone".
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM along with a Time of Sharing to begin at 3:00 PM that afternoon all at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hils.

Ernie, a loving husband, and father, is survived by his beloved wife, Agnes Eleosida Domingo; his daughter, Mary Catherine Domingo, his brothers, Arnulfo (Laura) Rimando and Dennis (Maya) Domingo, his sisters Belen (Jim) Zangrilli and Celia Rimando Guieb. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and colleagues. He was preceded in death by sister Alma (Eduardo) Suacillo and his parents.
Ernie was an avid fan of DC and Marvel comic books and movies, Star Wars, and Star Trek. He loved collecting movies and vinyl records. He enjoyed playing golf and hosting parties for his family and friends in his home. He was an active member of the Fox Valley Filipino-American Catholic Ministry and the Ilocanos of the Midwest. His family, friends, and contemporaries remembered Ernie as a humble, reliable, compassionate person and a jokester.

Isaac Garcia passed away at home on March 4, 2022, surrounded by his family in harmony and peace.
He was born in La Candela, Durango Mexico on June 3, 1944. Beloved son of Roberta and Francisco García and brother of María de los Ángeles, with whom he is now reunited with his two sons, Thomas and Juan García.
A dedicated father of his children Thomas, Juan, Lucila, Javier, Emilio, Isaac and Graciela. Also a devoted uncle and father figure to his nieces Maria, Raquel, Blanca, Magdalena and Eva. He leaves his wife, best friend and life partner of 39 years, Margorie Kruse Garcia. He is survived by his grandchildren, Miguel Angel, Emanuel, Xavier, Kobe, Jakob, Kaylah, Abraham, Enya, Ingrid, Juan Carlos, Linete, and Malillany.
A great father, great uncle, great grandfather, great friend, a great man. He brightened our lives with his stories, advice, music and love. He leaves us incredible memories and life lessons that his presence allowed. His wisdom was filled with love for his family and infinite kindness towards everyone he encountered. A fundamental pillar of the family who will miss him deeply.
With affection we express our highest esteem and gratitude to each one of our family and friends who have comforted us in such a special way in these moments of pain due to the irreparable loss of our beloved father, uncle and grandfather.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one mile west of Rt. 31) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills. Mass and Cemetery will be Wednesday, March 9 at 10:30 am at Willow Funeral Home with procession to St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery in Palatine, Illinois.

She was born in Evanston, Illinois on April 20, 1928 the daughter of Leo and Elizabeth (Moeller) Jaacks. Caroline married the love of her life, Ralph O. Taege on May 10th 1947 and he passed away in 1977.
Caroline is survived by her children, Terrence (Debbie) Taege, Cynthia Bruce (Paul Krikorian), Jack (Brenda) Taege and James (Pamela) Taege; her grandchildren, Keith, Jeff, Travis, Courtney, Joel (Shannon Super), Ryan, Timothy (Amy), Brett (Emily), Brian and Scott in addition to many great-grandchildren; her sister, Marion Haseman; her nieces and nephews, Sharon, Wendy, Jeff, Randy, David, Dale, Karen and Marilou.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Jaacks and Leroy Jaacks; her son-in-law, Douglas Bruce, her brother-in-law, Howard Haseman, her sisters in law, Betty Jaacks and Naomi Jaacks.
Caroline was a huge Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bulls fan. Show Caroline your support for her appreciation of all sports. Visitors are asked to wear their favorite sports team apparel, especially Cubs and Bulls. White Sox fan apparel regrettably also welcome. A visitation will be held Saturday, February 26th from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd, (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin, IL. 60102
A prayer service will follow in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be private for the family at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights, IL.

Kelly Marie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Thomas and Joan Foley, her paternal grandparents, Floyd and Cora Hedmark; her aunt, Donna Hedmark and her uncle, James Foley.
Kelly went to Dundee Crown High School.  She received an Associates Degree from Harper College and a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Wisconsin Whitewater.  Kelly was the Vice President of the Circle K Club Volunteer Organization for two years.
Kelly was an avid reader and baker.  She had a love for travel.  Some of her favorites include Ireland, Scotland, England, New York, St. Croix and most recently Boston for a family girls’ weekend. Lake Delavan was a place she loved to spend time with family.
Kelly was employed by and enjoyed working for Benefit Express where she was a project manager.
She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Cremation rites were held privately. A private inurnment will be held at St. Charles Twp. Cemetery.

Kevin was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and a Houston Oilers fan, continuing to follow the team when they rebranded as the Tennessee Titans.  Kevin resided in Chicago from birth until 1987 in the area affectionately referred to as “the Pulaski Park neighborhood”.  Kevin graduated from Holy Trinity High School in Chicago, IL with the class of 1983.  After high school, Kevin completed a program at the Cooking Hospitality Institute of Chicago and began a career working in fine dining restaurants for a while.  Kevin struggled with health concerns his entire life and as such his career would not be sustainable due to his health.  Kevin moved to River Grove, IL and resided there for the following 30 years, eventually moving to Arlington Heights for the past 5 years.  Kevin was a faithful friend to many and enjoyed interacting and communicating with others.  Throughout his life, Kevin had a few dogs that he cared for and was always available to help his family with their pets.
Visitation for Kevin will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. along with a prayer service and eulogy to begin at 7:00 p.m. that evening all at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
