He worked as a timber buyer and enjoyed traveling the countryside looking for trees to buy and sell. He was an amazing marksman and loved to shoot trap. He was an avid deer hunter that harvested many trophy bucks over the years. He loved hunting morels most of all. Count yourself lucky if he ever shared any of his ‘spots’. When he wasn’t wandering the woods, he could be found watching Green Acres or The Lone Ranger.
Doc was a wild one in his youth but after he was baptized in September of 2005 and spent the rest of his life serving the Lord. His life’s calling was to bring as many people as he could to Christ. His heart for God led him to bless the lives of many others. He’d give you the shirt off his back and help you any way he could. When the Lord called him to lead a bible study he did so willingly. He was happy to be a vessel of God and help others learn and grow in their faith. We’re all blessed to have known and loved him.
