Born June 24, 1967 in Spring Garden Township, the son of the late John H. and Vera D. (Reever) Rife, he had been employed at Walmart.
Mr. Rife is survived by a son, Justin M. Jones, of Galeton; two sisters, Patricia E. Gross (Lester), of Etters, and Brenda K. Lane (Rob), of Newberrytown as well as nieces and nephews.  He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Doris P. Altland, and Theda A. Arnold.
A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, April 29, 2022 at Paddletown Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church, 255 Church Road, Newberrytown, with Pastor Ryan Whisel officiating.  William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, is assisting with arrangements.

Born August 7, 1936 in Dallastown, a daughter of the late Paul J. and Irene (Smith) Kohler, she is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Zielinski, and her husband Bernard, of Manchester; a son, Jeffrey L. Burger, and his wife Anne, of York; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by a brother, Paul J. Kohler, Jr.; and a sister, Cordelia Evans.

Rachael K. Gromling - September 30, 1939 - April 11, 2022

Obituary Preview: Rachael K. (Musser) Gromling, age 82 , passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester Borough and was very proud of the small town feel. Rachael and her husband, Ivan (Igor) were married for 53 years prior to his death on October 19, 2019.
Rachael was born at home on September 30, 1939 and was a twin.  She was the daughter of the late Aaron (A.B.) and Mary (Hoffman) Musser.   She was a 1957 graduate of Manchester High School, (now Northeastern) and Rachael enjoyed going to monthly class reunions with her friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Kim Perone and her husband Ed; and grandsons, Ben and Connor. Also her youngest brother, Rick and his wife Peggy (Wilt) Musser, numerous nieces, nephews and friends near and far.  She got extra love from Mr and Mrs Jeremy Hackney and Jaden, and Lenny Hackney.
Rachael worked for Jim Anderson’s Tropical Treat where she met Ivan, the Record Club of America until its closing and retired from Human Resources Office at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home where she volunteered after retirement for a number of years. After retirement, she worked part time for the York Dispatch as a receptionist.
Rachael is a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Manchester and its predecessor churches for 70 years and also attended Manchester Assembly of God Church. Rachael was a member of the Pennsylvania Dutch Heritage Group for 27 years and the current secretary and newsletter editor.   She enjoyed learning the Pennsylvania Dutch dialect, and was proud of her PA Dutch roots.  Rachael also enjoyed doing the Lancaster County Best Kept Secrets Tours over the years, reading and learning more about the PA Dutch, organizing the Christmas party for family,  checking Ivan’s Facebook page to see what was happening,  taking long drives and driving the “back way” to Columbia every Wednesday to her favorite restaurant, Hinkle’s with the best waitress, Jess.  She will be remembered for her unrelenting independent spirit and can-do attitude.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jay and his wife Pauline, Philip and his wife Sylvia, her twin, Robert and his wife Jeanne, her sisters, Ruth Gingerich and her husband Ed, Karen Marshlick, Amelia Miller and an infant sister, Mary L. Musser.  As well as four nephews and one great nephew.
Her family would like to acknowledge with grateful appreciation the services of Dr. Fredrick Shrimp II of York Hospital and the Home Care Division of Hospice and Community Care, specifically, Team Aqua for their dedicated caring.
Visitation will be on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am and the service will begin at 10:30 am at the William E. Little Funeral Home, 60 South Main Street, Manchester with the Rev. Dr. Eddie D.D. Miller, Visitation Pastor from St. Paul United Methodist Church officiating.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

She was born February 22, 1969 in Warrington Township, she had worked as a nurse for Maxim Health Care. She was a member of Pinchot Park Assembly of God, and the Ladies Auxiliary of Dillsburg VFW.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Thomas is survived by four daughters, Cassondra Webb, and her husband Justin, of Wellsville, Carissa Regal, and her husband Robert, of Dover, Kaylee Weaver, and her husband Samuel, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Katrina Thomas, of Wellsville. She was also the loving grandmother of seven grandchildren who were the loves of her life; Mackenzie Webb, Brent Regal, Connor Regal, Adalyn Webb, Aurora Regal, Lucas Weaver and Asher Weaver.

Mansberger, and his wife Anne, of York Haven and Cynthia (Slagle) Garretson, and her husband Rick, of Gardners, he was a graduate of Red Land High School, where he played baseball as a pitcher, first base, and occasional catcher.  He was employed at Ben Druck Door Company, in York, and was an avid outdoorsman including hunting, fishing, and kayaking.  He was also an enthusiastic artifact collector.
In addition to his parents, Devon is survived by a brother, Mason S. Mansberger, of Mount Wolf; paternal grandmother, Alice Mansberger, of York Haven; and maternal grandparents, Donald and Betty Slagle, of Templeton.

He was a member of Young's United Methodist Church, Hawk Gunning Club, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and a lifetime member of American Legion Post 0945.
In addition to his wife, Mr. McCoy is survived by a son, Eugene J. McCoy, Jr. (Rynell), of York; two daughters, Kathy Ann McWilliams, of Pottsville, and Wanda Marie McCoy, of Dover; a stepson, Craig W. Nye, of Mechanicsburg; a stepdaughter, Melody D. Born October 8, 1932, in Franklin County, a son of the late Paul and Carrie (Diffenderfer) John, he was a US Navy Veteran, serving on the USS New Jersey, during the Korean War.  He also served four years in the Reserve.  He was retired from American Chain and Cable as a welder, and was an avid hunter, enjoyed camping, working in his yard, and spending time with family.
In addition to his loving wife of 65 years, Mr. John is survived by two sons, Bryan K. John, of York, and Mark W. John, and his wife, Jill, of York; two daughters, Pamela R. Reitzel, of Lemoyne, and Tina M. Brubaker, and her husband Steve, of Hamburg; six grandchildren, Matthew, Holly, Shane, Heather, Lance, and Shyla; nine great grandchildren, Eric, Ethan, Addison, Asher, Livia, Evangeline, Dakota, Brice, and Gracie; a brother, Harold John; and two sisters, Anna Mae Mills, and Jean Lisse. He was also preceded in death by a sister; five brothers; a great grandson, Levi; and his son-in-law Jeffery Reitzel.

Born March 21, 1970 in York, she was the wife of Brian Kurilla for 31 beautiful years, daughter of Jeanette L. (Roller) Hendrych, of Red Lion, and the late Barry Markel, and stepdaughter of Ed Hendrych, of Phoenix, Arizona and Kay E. Markel of York. She worked as the best office manager of Brian’s Auto Center, in Yorkana and also worked at Bath and Body Works.
In addition to her husband, mother, step father and step mother, Mrs. Kurilla is survived by two daughters, Jamie L. Toomey, and her husband Tyler, of Manchester, and Jackie L. Kurilla, and her fiancé Jordan Zirkle, of York; a grandson, Clayton Toomey; and a brother, Jason Markel, and his wife Brooke, of York. She also leaves behind her fur baby, Mia and three grand dogs, Trigger, Clyde, and Willow.
Janene loved camping, kayaking and drinking with friends. She will be deeply missed by many. She was always willing to help anyone in need. She gave the gift of a better life to many through organ donation.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, March 25, 2022 at Otterbein United Methodist Church, 1 N Main St, Mount Wolf.  Please use the lower entrance, and the family requests that guests wear blue. Obituary Preview: Yvonne D. “Vonnie” Miller, of Manchester, Pennsylvania, went to be with The Lord her Savior on February 7, 2022 at the age of 85.
Vonnie was born to the late Anna (Kilmore) Davis and Joseph Davis, Sr., on June 29, 1936 in York, Pennsylvania. She was married to her husband, Gene Miller, for 67 years.
Vonnie was strong and courageous, dedicated to her family and friends, and influential to all she met. She began her career at Peoples Laundry, but her lifetime career was being a mother and servant of the Lord. Vonnie devoted her life to Christ, who shone through her wherever she went. For 50 years, she was a member of Cassel’s Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, where she served the Lord teaching Sunday school, bible school, and caring for babies in the nursery. She also volunteered with Awana, and release time for school age children for many years. Vonnie began every day spending time with the Lord studying her Bible and prayer. She enjoyed time spent with her children, grandchildren and friends, going on camping trips and vacations. Vonnie was well known for keeping a spotless house and baking her delicious chocolate chip cookies.
In addition to her husband, Vonnie is survived by her seven children, Jeffrey Miller and his wife Patricia, Sharon Cookson and her husband Dave, Brenda Diffenbaugh and her husband William, Brian Miller and his wife Christine, Lori Wunsch and her husband William, Kevin Miller and his wife Heidi, and Mark Miller and his wife Jennifer; a sister, Norma Jean Brown; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren, who lovingly called her Nana. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph Davis, Jr., Clarence Davis, Donald Davis, Merle Davis, and her sister, Florence Shenberger.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, February 18, 2022 at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, with The Rev. Leland Manuel, officiating. Kelly, and her husband Danny, also of Canyon Lake; five great-nephews (Jeremy Heilman, of Pennsylvania, Tyler Brunk, of Pennsylvania, Mackenzie Kelly, of Texas, Carson Bloess, and Parker Bloess, both of Texas; and his brother-in-law, James D. Groff, of York. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Chloetta M. Groff and a great-nephew, Connor Kelly.

Born August 9, 1989 in York, a son of Sandra F. (White) Deitrick, of Manchester, and the late Larry C. Deitrick. He was employed at William Penn Performance Glass Corporation.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Deitrick is survived by his girlfriend, Rachel Ligon; four brothers, John McFarland, of Mount Wolf, Jeff McFarland, of Manchester, Chris Deitrick, and his wife Brittany, of Mount Wolf, and Matthew Deitrick, and his wife Jen, of Mount Wolf; and three sisters, Joni McKinley, and her husband Barry, of Mount Wolf, Lori Miller, of York, and Danielle Runkle, and her husband Shawn, of Manchester; many nieces, nephew's, cousins and lots of friends.
Wayne had a heart of gold and was loved by so many. Wayne could just walk into a room and brighten it up with his smile and contagious laugh. He had the personality people were just drawn to. He could make friends wherever he went. Wayne knew how to make everyone feel loved. Wayne also had a love for animals. Wayne's favorite love for an animal was the Panda Bear. He also enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends, while representing his favorite socks.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tina M. Rahley; and a son, Newton W. Rahley.

Sage was a burst of life. He had a genuine smile that inspired and shined light on everyone around him. He brought the sun with him in every room he entered. Sage was happy, driven and motivational. He hoped for happiness and peace for all he loved.

Obituary Preview: Larry R. Good, 86, passed into Life Eternal on Monday, January 17, 2022 at the York Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara A. (Cassel) Good with whom he shared over 57 years of marriage.
He was born July 27, 1935 in West York to the late Ella K. Good. Larry graduated from Manchester High School in 1954. He then proudly served his country for 6 years in the U.S. Navy. Following discharge, he was employed at various automobile dealerships prior to working and retiring from P.P.L. Brunner Island.
A lifelong Phillies fan, he was fortunate to spend many winters in FL, with his wife, to experience Spring Training. Front row seats in the stadium – no less! In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Larry’s love of fishing continued, especially yearly trips to Sand Beach Lodge in Ontario, Canada where lasting friendships were formed. He was a member of Zeredatha White Rose Lodge No. 451, Free and Accepted Masons; Tall Cedars of Lebanon, York Forest No. 30; Starview Sportsmen Association; and the Hawk Gunning Club.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, with Ron Hamme, a dear friend who is currently serving as a missionary in the Bahamas, officiating.  He has graciously returned to PA to honor Larry’s request. Many, many thanks Ron!  Viewing will be 10-10:45 AM, with Masonic Rites beginning at 10:45 AM.   Burial will follow at Manchester Lutheran Cemetery with military honors presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. In addition to his wife of 69 years, Mr. Bowers is survived by a son, Rhett Y. Bowers, and his companion Linda Shelly, of Mount Wolf; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Jane Hanna, of York Haven; and a daughter in law, Susan Bowers, of York. He was also preceded in death by a son, Rex Bowers; and three grandchildren, Matthew Bowers, Aaron Bowers, and Stephanie Wood.

He has spent 30 years with his wife Kristin Getz Stroup. He is survived by his 3 children, Ryan Stroup of Camp Hill, PA, Erik Stroup and girlfriend Catherine of Gaithersburg, MD, and his daughter Kalie Stroup Steffee, wife of Zach Steffee of Red Lion, PA. He is also survived by his brother, Adam Stroup and wife Susan of Alexandria, MD.
He graduated from Greenwood High School, Millerstown, PA in 1976. He earned both his bachelor's degree and master’s degree in community psychology from The Pennsylvania State University.
Dan’s career was a lifetime of dedicated service to Disability services in non-profit settings. At the time of death, he was the Executive Director at Disability Empowerment Center (DEC) in Lancaster, PA. Prior to DEC, he worked for The Pennsylvania Consumer Workforce Council as the Executive Director. In 1999, Dan founded Typical Life Corporation and worked there for over 15 years as the Executive Director. Other early years of employment include Bell Socialization Services, where he worked in the Intellectual Disability Department and also met his wife Kris. Other places of employment include Shadowfax Corporation and working as a Direct Care Professional working for Community Services Group supporting adults with Intellectual Disabilities. During the course of his career, he started a business providing in-home tutor services through his company, The Tutor Doctor Lower Susquehanna Valley.
Over the years, Dan received numerous county and state awards and recognition for implementing creative, progressive programs for individuals with disabilities. He served on numerous Board of Directors for non-profits as well as being an active member of several professional groups, including Professional Referral Exchange (PRE) in Lancaster. He was also a member of the Hempfield Area Lions Club.
Dan spent countless years coaching his children for soccer, baseball and softball teams when they were young. He participated in Dreamwrights productions for 7 years with his daughter Kalie.
Dan was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Manchester where he served on church council for several years and acted as Church Council President for a year. He also enjoyed Wednesday morning breakfasts with the Men’s group at Manchester Cafe.
Dan enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, cheering on Philadelphia sports teams, and going to Penn State football games. He was an avid fisherman and his family even called him the “Bass Master”. His favorite holiday was Halloween and he loved planning big parties for family and friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Christ Lutheran Church, 66 S Main St, Manchester, with his Pastor, The Rev. Beth Schlegel STS, officiating. A reception with the family will immediately follow.  Visitation will be 5-7PM Friday at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester.

Born December 17, 1921 in York to the late Paul S. and Mary J. (Nade) Witmer, she was a 1940 graduate from Manchester High School. The hardest part of the last two years was that she could not do things she used to do. She was a very busy and involved lady. She taught Sunday school from 15-85 years old. She and Robert belonged to Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church in Manchester for ober 50 years. She served the Church by working from the age of 16 until retirement, as a waitress, at New Cumberland Army Depot, went to Beauty school and opened her own Beauty Shop when her son was born, the job she lloved the most was her 45 years at York Dispatch. She and Robert got married on March 6, 1948 and have had an amazing life together for the last 75 years. She loved Christmas and it was so appropriate that Jodi her Granddaughter came and took her home to spend their first Christmas together.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Delle is survived by a much loved son, Lanny Delle and daughter in law, Glenda; granddaughter, Lannette and life partner Charles; six great grandchildren, Justin Delle (Dana), Anthony Marino (Alicia), Joseph Marino, Jensen Delle, Braelyn Delle (Ethan), and Jayce Ritter; great great grandchildren, Justin and Landen Delle, Luna Evelynn Marino and Zoie whom she adored; a sister, Linnie Snyder (Greg); a niece, Tiffany Harman (Jeff); a nephew, Troy Snyder; and two grand nieces, Madison and Abigail Harman. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Harold Witmer; a sister, Peachy Grim; a brother in law, Robert Grim; and her beloved first born granddaughter, Jodi Delle Ritter.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 AM Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church, 4360 Board Rd, Manchester with The Rev. Dr. Eddie D.D. Miller, officiating.
