Obituary Preview: Fadia Jean Harness Lowe, age 86 of Oliver Springs, TN passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024, at NHC Healthcare Fort Sanders in Knoxville, TN. She was born in Norma, TN on February 13, 1938.
Jean was a dedicated born-again Christian who loved to play guitar and sing for her Lord and Savior. She had a green thumb, having a passion for flowers and gardening. She loved watching and feeding birds, especially hummingbirds. Jean truly enjoyed spending time with her family, living life to the fullest always having fun and laughing. One of her favorite places to be was in the Smoky Mountains enjoying the beauty of God’s creation. She has traveled all over the country and even lived in Okinawa, Japan for three years, which she truly loved. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Emily Harness; siblings, Kenneth Harness, Carlos Harness, Pauline Seiber, Sue Toler, Carol Lloyd, and Joyce Lowe.
Jean is survived by husband, Ralph Lowe; sister, Reeda Crowly; children, Pamela O'Dell (Jimmy), Melody Lynne Cross, Mark Ferguson (Lorri), Tim Ferguson, Willa Lewis, Daniel Ferguson (Susan), and Derrick Ervin; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Sherry Ann; sons, Micheal Beets and Charles Beets; and her sister, Phyllis Ann Flatt.
She is survived by her daughter, Darlene (Charles) King; her daughter-in-law, Brenda Beets; and her son, David Beets both of Oneida; seven grandchildren, Stephanie (Roy) Overton, Kristy (Perry) Terry, Charles (Khia) King, Kenny, Matthew and Jothan Beets and David (Chelsey) Beets Jr., all of Oneida; nine great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren; long-time friend, Joan Hatfield; and several other relatives and friends. She loved her family with her whole heart and will be greatly missed.

Obituary Preview: Joeldean Piercy Taubert, age 81 of Robbins, TN went home to the Lord peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, March 17, 2024. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and spent her life as a loving stay-at-home wife and mother.
This verse was specifically marked by Joeldean, and I believe it sums up Joeldean’s journey home beautifully, Job 23:10-12 (KJV): 10But He knoweth the way that I take: when He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. 11My foot hath held his steps, His way have I kept, and not declined. 12Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
Mrs. Taubert was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur O. Taubert, Jr. and her parents, Joel Piercy and Helen Toomey Piercy.
She is survived by her son, Aaron Taubert of Robbins, TN; 3 grandsons, Derek (Heather) Taubert of Robbins, TN, Scott (Jordan) Taubert of Clinton, TN, and Marcus Taubert of Joplin, MO; her sister, Judy (Paul) Sexton; brother-in-law, Doyle Taubert; sisters-in-law, Ernestine Sharp and Pam Taubert; 8 great-grandchildren, Troy Dean, Ally, Zoey, Tinlee, Jade, Maddox, Briggs, and Penelope; lots of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, friends, and neighbors.

She grew up in Oneida and graduated from Oneida High School. Linda married Willis G. Crowley on October 7, 1964, and together they raised three children. She was a loving, devoted spouse, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and cherished friend to many. Linda never seemed to meet a stranger because, in minutes, she charmed them with her warm smile and Southern hospitality. Throughout her life, Linda traveled the world as a military wife. She was known for her green thumb and love of gardening. She had a passion for sewing, cooking, baking and canning.
She is survived by her husband, Willis, her three children, Christie Arntz (Andrew Furne), Randy Crowley (Kelly Crowley), and Bill Crowley (AJ Zbinden), 10 grandchildren, Josh Arntz (Reid Conner), Abel Furne, Aric Furne, Nancy Colwell, Kelseay Crowley, Megan Crowley, Kennedy Crowley, Megan Zbinden, Allie Zbinden and John Zbinden, three sisters, Martha Duncan, Kizzie Duncan, Reba Smith, one brother Milford Duncan (Wanda Duncan) and many nieces and nephews.
