He is preceeded in death by his parents, Pryse Roberts and Lola (Campbell) Haddix, son, John Roberts "Rob" Haddix, brother, Walton Ray "Chip" Haddix, nephew, Patrick Haddix. He is survived by his daughter, Lora Elizabeth Haddix of Berea, Kentucky, sister-in-law, Lala (Beaty) Haddix, nephews, Barry (& Charlotte) Haddix of Somerset, Kentucky, Kevin Haddix of Albany, Kentucky, great-nephew, Steven (& Brandi) Haddix, great-niece, Taryn L. Haddix. Bro. Phillip Nevius will be officiating with help from Alan Gibson, Barry Haddix, and Sheriff Jeff Vincent. Mr. Haddix had chose cremation and his remains will be buried in the Craig Cemetery at a later date.

Obituary Preview: Estel Eugene (Gene) Jones, 89, of Somerset, Kentucky, previously Albany, passed away peacefully November 6, 2021 at Lake Cumberland Regional Medical Center.  He was the son of the late Ewell and Girtie Jones.  He is survived by his wife, Molly Reba Jones, Granddaughter Brittney Lavens Saitta (Matthew) and Great-Granddaughter, Millie, along with brothers Ray Jones (Phyllis), Clayton Jones (Patricia), Donald Jones (Pamela) and sisters Phyllis (Peter) Passerelli and Jo Ann (Stephen) Boyd.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Jones Lavens and son-in-law, Michael Lavens, brothers Clarence Jones (Doris) and Ronald Jones (Harriet).
Gene was a veteran of the United States Army and a civil engineer for the Army Corps. of Engineers, proudly working on such projects as Wolf Creek Dam.  He loved classic cars, his garden and his family and was a friend to all he met.
Memorial service will be held 11:30 a.m. Central Time on Friday, November 12th at Weldon Haddix Funeral Home in Albany, final resting place in Pine Grove Cemetery in Clinton County; visitation beforehand at 10:30 am Central Time.

Edmund Clay Brumley departed this life at his home in London, Kentucky on Sunday, August 29, 2021 being 79 years and 7 months of age.

Ora lived in Albany, Kentucky until 1962 when she married Rev. John Wray and they moved to Winchester.  They were married 44 years until his death.  Ora had worked at Randolph County Hospital until her retirement after 40 years.  She had also worked at the Randolph Nursing Home.  Ora was a member of the Maxville Christian Church.  She was also a member of the Humane Society.  She loved taking care of her cats and dogs and her garden.
Ora is survived by a sister, Odean Duval of Albany, Kentucky; her foster daughter, Corrine Cole of Bradley, IL; and her best friend, Arvil Hinty of Winchester, IN; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Elmer Patton, Jim Patton, and J.G. Patton; and a sister Flonnie Huddleston.
A service to celebrate Ora’s life with her Indiana family and friends, will be at 6:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 6, 2021, at the Walker Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Brumfield officiating.  Calling will be from 4-6 p.m., on Thursday at the funeral home.
A funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Weldon Haddix Funeral Home in Albany, Kentucky with burial following in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.
