Carol had a generous heart and a deep love for her family. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Helen Harper, and four loving sons, Nathaniel, Alfred (Cassandra), Troy, and George Harper. She was a proud grandmother to fourteen grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and cherished her role as a guiding force in their lives.

In addition to her immediate family, Carol leaves behind a wide circle of loved ones who will miss her dearly and remained a special part of her life, and she treasured the memories they shared. Nathaniel Jones, a dear friend, brought joy and companionship to Carol's life, and their bond was truly special.

Carol's extended family brought her great happiness, and she adored her nieces, Latisha, Marquita, and Melissa, as well as her nephews, Larry and Alfred Jr. Her grand nieces and nephews, along with her cousins Ronald, Sherlyn, Ester, Clarence, Linda, Albert and Gregory, held a special place in her heart. Throughout her life, Carol cultivated meaningful friendships that brought her joy and support. She shared a deep connection with Willie Jackson, Patricia Walker, Eva Chatman, Jeff, Moses Comage, and Debra Little, who stood by her side through thick and thin.,

Carol Ann Harper was preceded in death by her loving mother, Helen Harper, her father, Troy Harper, her sister, Paulette Bolden, and her brother, Alfred Bolden, her ex-husband, George Hullum, 3 uncles, and 5 aunts. While they are deeply missed, their memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved them.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Valerie Berry Blake; his aunt Angel Berry; his paternal grandfather Darrell Norwood Sr.; maternal great grandparents Wilbur and Effie Blake; James Berry and Emma J. Cloud; and his paternal great grandparents Retha and Junious Branscumb of Peoria and Perline Norwood-Woodhouse and James Woodhouse of West Memphis, Arkansas.

D3 was surrounded by the love of a large family that includes uncles: Darius (Kristen) Norwood, Jamar Berry, Cortez Blake Jr., James (Ashley) Berry - Blake, Aaron Thomas; and aunts: Rikeesha (Michael) Phelon, Ulondia Tow, Carmen Blake, all of Peoria. Irving will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his children, Tonya Sangster and Irving McCaskill II, as well as his grandchildren, JaColby R. Sangster, Marcus Warden, Dartez McCaskill, Shania Steward, Jazlyn Miller, and Jamariah Wilkin. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Kensean J. Sangster and Emiree Montiel.

Irving mourned the loss of his cousin, Wayne May, and his aunts, Gladys Harris, and Legirtha Wilson. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Mabel and John Nash Sr., her brother John “Buddy” Nash Jr., and her daughter Maggie “Rochelle” Shelley, son Derrick Shadell Shelley, and Robin Elliot, Daughter in love Robin Elliot, nephew: James Darrel Phillips. Although she is no longer with us, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family.

Apart from her role as a mother and grandmother, Betty had a fulfilling career. She worked as a security guard in Longview, a cook at Oak Manner, and she retired from Webster Cantrell Hall as the head cook and kitchen supervisor. Betty's dedication to her work was admired by those around her, and she will be remembered for her hard work and commitment.

In her journey of faith, Sis Shelley was a dedicated and proud member of The Church of the Living God P.G.T #3, which was under the esteemed leadership of Bishop Calvin Peppers. Later on, she embarked on a new chapter in her spiritual path and became a valued member of Love Fellowship Christian Church, led by the influential Bishop James A. Wills Sr.

Throughout her life, Sis Shelley's involvement in these two churches shaped her character and strengthened her relationship with God. Her unwavering commitment to her faith and her willingness to embrace different spiritual communities exemplified her open-hearted nature and her desire to continuously grow in her spiritual journey.

In her free time, Betty enjoyed pursuing her hobbies. She was an exceptional cook, known for her delicious dressing, potato salad, and sheet cakes. Her culinary skills were unmatched, and her dishes brought joy to many gatherings. Betty also found solace in listening to music, with the Williams Brothers and Lee Williams being among her favorites. Music provided her with comfort and inspiration throughout her life.

Betty had a heart full of love and kindness, and she touched the lives of many. She had a special saying that she shared with those dear to her: "Much Love." These words encapsulate the love and warmth she brought to every interaction.

Shanica took a job with National Government Services (Anthem Blue Cross) where she had a very productive career for nearly 30 years. She took pride in her work dealing with various Congressmen and woman on a daily basis.

From a young age, Shanica committed herself to Christ and joined the Community Church of God. Later, in Indianapolis, she remained devoted to her faith at New Beginnings Fellowship Church and Mt. Paran Baptist Church.

Shanica found great pleasure in life, constantly sharing her contagious smile with everyone she encountered. Family time, capturing countless memories through photography, exploring new places, acquiring new culinary skills, and preparing meals for her loved ones were all cherished by Shanica. Shanica was not only a dedicated mother, but also a passionate football enthusiast. She actively participated in her children's little league football activities, taking on the role of an exceptional Team Mom. Spending quality time with her grandchildren was always a priority for Glenda, as she cherished the moments shared with them. She also had a flair for cooking and took pleasure in preparing delicious meals for her loved ones. Additionally, Glenda had a beautiful singing voice and enjoyed using her talent to uplift others.

A private graveside service will be held at Swan Lake Memory Garden, where Glenda will be laid to rest surrounded by the beauty of nature that she appreciated. Florence was a woman of strength and resilience, always facing life's challenges with grace and determination. She graduated from Carver High School and went on to pursue higher education at Tennessee State, where she cultivated a thirst for knowledge and a passion for learning.

Her career as a Certified Nurses Assistant spanned over 25 years at Decatur Memorial Hospital, where she touched the lives of countless patients with her compassion and care. She also worked as an aide at Durfee Elementary School, where she nurtured young minds and left an indelible mark on the students she encountered.

Outside of her professional life, Florence found joy and fulfillment in various hobbies. She had a green thumb and took pride in her beautiful yard, creating a sanctuary of vibrant colors and blooming flowers. She delighted in chasing after her grandchildren, their laughter filling her heart with pure joy. Cooking was another passion of hers, and her culinary creations brought warmth and comfort to the hearts and bellies of her loved ones.

Faith played an integral role in Florence's life. She found Christ at an early age in Brownsville, TN at Taylors Chapel CME Church. When she later relocated to Decatur, IL she became an active member of Trinity CME Church. She found solace and guidance in her spiritual community, where she found strength and support during both joyful and challenging times.

Florence leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold her in their hearts. She is survived by her children, Cecil Hegger, Jacqueline Hegger, Lennie Hegger, Marvin (Deborah) Hegger, Sharon Hegger, and Wanda (Darrell) Porter. Her sister, Gladys Odeneal, was not only her sibling but also her closest confidante and lifelong companion. Florence was also blessed with a host of 20 grandchildren,11 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson, as well as her bonus children at Durfee Elementary School that held a special place in her heart, as well as other special loved ones who will carry her memory forward with love and admiration.

While we mourn the loss of a remarkable woman, we take comfort in knowing that Florence has been reunited with her beloved husband, Henry Charles Hegger, who passed before her. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Kittie Hess, and her siblings, Fred Hess, Peter Hess, Edgar Hess, and Leonard Hess, one grandchild, Tamiea "Tammy” Hegger, and daughter-in-law, Bessie Hegger.

Florence Ella Hess-Hegger will be remembered for her kind heart, her unwavering faith, and her devotion to her family. Her gentle spirit and loving nature touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. As we celebrate her life, let us carry her legacy of love, resilience, and compassion in our hearts, and may her memory continue to inspire us to live each day with grace and gratitude.

His grandchildren, Nashe' Bell, Quincey Watts Jr., TeSandra Phillips, Bonnie L. Bell, Terence Jarrett, KeShawn Musgrave, Donnaa Davis, Tylinn Davis, Jalaya Davis, Shimere Lee, and O'Mari Taylor, brought him immense joy. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren; Ja'Ryeus Reed, Ni'Kee Reed, Italy Reed, RoZaye Bell, ReMyee Bell, EphSani Bell, and Ephfiji Bell.

Bell-Woods, Edna Mae Bell-Pride, and Luescendy Bell-Holmes, sister-in-law; Carol Linda Ruth Bell. Their love and support were a source of strength throughout his life.

Outside of his studies and work, Tremayne enjoyed spending time playing video games and watching football. These hobbies provided him with moments of joy and relaxation, allowing him to unwind and connect with his friends and loved ones. Tremayne's love for his siblings and parents was immeasurable, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Diane's devotion to her faith was evident in her role as the Head Greeter, where she warmly embraced each and every individual who crossed the threshold of the church. Her radiant smile and loving spirit made everyone feel welcomed and cherished. Diane's dedication extended as she served as the vice president of the usher board and actively participated in the Youth With a Positive Direction-Grandparent Program. Additionally, she co-founded the 50+ group alongside her cousin Ricky. Diane's involvement in the Mission Ministry further showcased her boundless love for others and her unwavering commitment to making a positive impact.

As a testament to her work ethic and dedication, Diane spent over 20 years of her life as a valued employee of Firestone. Her commitment and loyalty were unwavering, and she retired with a sense of accomplishment and pride in her years of service.

Diane's life was a tapestry woven with the threads of love, family, and friendship. She cherished the moments spent with her sisters and friends, who were her pillars of strength and joy. Whether they were physically together or connected through the phone lines, Diane's bond with her sisters was unbreakable. The YMCA became her second home, where she found solace in the company of her devoted YMCA crew. Furthermore, Diane cherished her Every Other Friday dinner crew, a group of friends who gathered regularly to share laughter, stories, and delicious meals. Her friendships were a testament to her warm and inviting spirit, as she never missed an opportunity to foster connections and create lasting memories.

Diane's love knew no bounds, extending to her extended family. She was a beacon of support and encouragement, never missing an event, game, graduation, or celebration for any of her loved ones. Her presence was a source of comfort and inspiration, and her love was a constant reminder of the importance of family bonds.

In her leisure time, Diane found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for engaging in heartfelt conversations over the phone, connecting with loved ones near and far. She also delighted in shopping adventures with her niece Shaquita, particularly r0elishing their trips to Ross.

Priscilla accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of New Publican Primitive Baptist Church. Later she attended New Salem Baptist Church and eventually became a member of Cornerstone FGBC.

Priscilla dedicated her life to caring for others, but cooking was her main passion. Being the head cook at several facilities, she worked for New Horizon Complex, Longview Day Care, Decatur Airport, Anna Waters Head Start, and Lincoln Manor Nursing Home. Priscilla also loved to cook for family, friends, and various functions. Her culinary skills brought sweet comfort and delicious cuisine to the many of many she served.

Priscilla, among other things enjoyed plants, animals, puzzles, drawing, painting, dressing in ruffles, sightseeing, and watching movies. Priscilla enjoyed the simple things in life. It did not take much to make her happy.
