Enoka Ezekiel Fou - October 05, 2022 - July 03, 2023

Departed: 07/03/2023 (Copperas Cove)
Obituary Preview: Enoka Ezekiel Fou, age 8 months of San Antonio, TX, gained his wings on July 3, 2023. Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Sneed Carnley Funeral Chapel in Copperas Cove, TX. Burial will follow at Copperas Cove City Cemetery.
Enoka was a beautiful boy who blessed his family's lives in the short time he was here on Earth. From the beginning, Enoka was such a strong baby. Even in his mummy's tummy, his kicks would awaken her in her sleep. In his first days of life, he had to stay in the hospital for a few extra days due to jaundice. Even in those trying times, he was so strong and rarely cried. Enoka brought so much joy to those around him. He loved bath time and observing people talk. He wanted to be right there in the conversation! Enoka didn't smile a lot, but he sure loved to laugh, and that laughter was infectious. He also loved being entertained by his siblings. Enoka was the youngest of three. He adored being carried and loved on, which he preferred to tummy time or being in his walker. Another one of Enoka's favorite past times was eating! Once he started solid foods, there was no stopping him! He enjoyed his baby cereal, oatmeal, fruits, and soup. He was such an easy-going baby until he got "hangry" or needed changing. You wouldn't hear his voice until then, and then he wouldn't let you ignore him until he was fed or changed! Enoka also loved listening to music, especially church music, from the moment he woke up until he went to sleep. He would sing along in his own way. He loved discovering new things and his favorite trick was taking his socks off and on and back off again! Enoka, being the youngest, meant he was so loved and protected by everyone. Although Enoka was taken from his family too soon, they are certain that he will be in Heaven waiting for all his loved ones.
Enoka is preceded in death by his Grandfather, Tavita Ulupolokasa Fou.
Enoka is survived by his parents, Robert and Fuatai; Brothers, Canton Laufou-Falelua, Tavita Fou; Sisters, Evelyn Laufou-Falelua, Puamemea Fou, Nafanua Laufou; Grandparents, Evelyn and Canton Laufou, Sina Fou; Aunties, Katherine Laufou, Netta Fou, Cecelia Fou; Uncles, Junior Fou and Ropeti Falelua Jr.; and Godmother Moana Ameperosa.

Obituary Preview: Ramona Denise Tysor, age 58 of Copperas Cove, unexpectedly passed away on June 1, 2023, at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Temple, Texas with her husband and daughter by her side. After years of persevering through pain with occasional moments of joy and hope her heart released her from the suffering of cancer and gifted her the ultimate peace.
Ramona, born on August 27, 1964, in Franklin, Texas, to Alice Gunter, was the youngest of three, but her spirit shone bright, possessing wisdom and gravitas that are often associated with the eldest sibling. Her sisters, Sherrill Goodman, and Wylene Miles, often joke about relenting to her will and tenacious spirit.  After the death of their mother, Alice Jewel, the three sisters were raised by their maternal grandmother, Levester Gunter. Ramona joined Fourth Missionary Baptist Church in Franklin, Texas.
After graduating from Franklin High School, Ramona journeyed to Germany to lend support to her sister, Sherrill, and her nephews Dwaine and Jason. While in Germany, Ramona met her beloved husband, Rodney, who was serving in the military. Throughout Rodney's military career, Ramona found employment wherever they were stationed, contributing to the well-being of her family. She retired after 20 years of distinguished service from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
As a mother to Alisha and Davids, Ramona embodied unconditional love. Her grandkids, Zora and Maia, were her pride and joy. She flew in right on time to be present at the birth of both of her grandbabies in Abu Dhabi, UAE. With them, she shared her passion for gardening, and her penchant for puzzles, which mirrored her approach to life, always piecing together solutions and finding ways to support those she cared about. In giving, she found her greatest joy, going out of her way to help others, even when it was difficult for her. Yet, she was also famously known for her humility, often finding it hard to accept help in return.

Glenn was born on August 22, 1989, in Frankfurt, Germany to Tammy Sutton and Glenn C. Maples. He grew up and attended school in Copperas Cove, as well as Lampasas. Glenn knew college wasn’t for him and went to work doing any odd jobs that would come along. He framed houses for a while before starting his own business, All Pro Contracting. He was a hard worker, with “A Heart of Gold.” Glenn would do whatever he could to help others. He loved drawing, getting tattoos, as well as giving them. Riding motorcycles and working on them was his true hobby. He was in the process of building one that was like his father’s.  Glenn’s love of motorcycles was second to his pride and joy, his son, Ryder. They did everything together, and Glenn would do anything to make sure Ryder had everything he needed. He would drop what he was doing if Ryder called and wanted something as simple as some ice cream. Glenn and Ryder had started their own little farm of roosters, chickens, and ducks.  Glenn also cared deeply for his mom, Tammy, and sister, Kristi. He would call and check on them at all hours of the day or night, doing anything he could to help them out. He would never leave the house without saying “I Love You!” and giving a goodbye kiss. Gone, but never forgotten. Always in our hearts.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Charles Maples; grandmother, Margaret Maples; as well as other grandparents.
Glenn is survived by his son, Ryder Maples; mother, Tammy Maples; sister, Kristi Maples; grandparents, Stanley and Tommye Sutton Sr.; aunts, Rena Oliver and husband, Tim, Joyce Clouiter, and Alicia Villegas and husband, Orlando; uncle, Stan Sutton Jr., and wife Jennifer; Ryder’s mother, Ella Kamille Horn, and her parents, Kathy and Geoffrey Tate; and many cousins.

Leonard met Carmen C. Rodriguez at the grand bus station on the Pacific side of Panama.  After marriage, the two of them traveled the world from Panama, Colorado Springs, New Jersey, Germany, and finally Texas.

Yes! Quotes or poems can be a beautiful way to add meaning and context to an obituary.

How do I notify friends and family of a death through social media?

You can post a message on social media announcing the passing of your loved one, along with any relevant details such as funeral arrangements or memorial services. Be sure to consider privacy settings and only share information that you're comfortable with being public.

Is it appropriate to share news of a death on social media before telling all family members?

No, it's generally considered best practice to notify immediate family members personally before sharing the news publicly on social media.

Can I create a memorial page on social media for my loved one?

Yes! Many social media platforms allow you to create memorial pages or groups where friends and family can share memories and condolences.

How long should I wait before planning a memorial service or celebration of life?

This will depend on your family's needs and preferences. Some people prefer to hold a memorial service shortly after the death, while others may wait weeks or even months.

What's the difference between a funeral and a memorial service?

A funeral typically takes place shortly after death and includes the body of the deceased, while a memorial service is held at a later date and does not include the body.

Can I plan a celebration of life instead of a traditional funeral?

Absolutely! A celebration of life is a non-traditional way to honor your loved one's memory, often focusing on their personality, interests, and accomplishments rather than mourning their loss.

How do I handle condolences and messages from well-wishers?

You can respond personally to each message, or designate someone else (such as a funeral home) to handle condolences on your behalf. Be sure to take care of yourself during this difficult time!

What if I'm overwhelmed by condolences and messages from well-wishers?

DON'T FEEL OBLIGATED TO RESPOND TO EVERY MESSAGE IMMEDIATELY! Take your time, prioritize self-care, and consider enlisting help from friends or family members if needed.

Can I reuse an old photo for an obituary if I don't have any recent ones?

Yes! While it's ideal to use a recent photo, an old photo can still be used if it captures the person's essence and spirit.

What if I'm unsure about what information to include in an obituary?

DON'T WORRY! Funeral homes, mortuaries, or online obituary platforms often have resources and templates available to guide you through the process. You can also ask friends or family members for input.
