Manuel Kapuschat of Greece found his way back to heaven on November 3, 2016 at the age of 91. Predeceased by his wife Edith and son in law, Vince Ruggeri. Survived by his daughters, Bonnie (Krishna) Gangadean, Christina (Lenny) Grimsley and Jeanine Ruggeri ; Grandchildren, Lori (Steve) Benham, Marley (Kate) Grimsley, Vincent Ruggeri and Melanie Schwartz; Great Grandchildren, Gage and Sara Benham.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in WWll as a Medic. He is a retiree of Singer Corporation. He loved reading and fixing things like electronics and cars and had a real passion in wanting to know how things work. He was a very strong person and handled many obstacles in life and treated everything as a learning experience. We will miss him dearly.
Manuel's visitation will be held on Saturday (November 19th) 11am - 1pm followed by prayers and remembrance at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home , 38 East Ave, Hilton, NY 14468. Interment will be held at Parma Union Cemetery, 260 Parma Center Rd, Hilton, NY 14468 following the visitation.

Erika was always a loving and caring mother to her three children, Scott ( Rachel ) Briffa, Maria ( Aaron ) Bailey and Heather Briffa; adored her grandchildren, Scotty Briffa, Blake Bailey and Ayden Bailey; her parents, Maria and John Toeper; her husband of 39 years, Frank Briffa; brothers, Ron Toeper and Eric ( Cathy ) Toeper; several nephews and nieces; special friends John and Charlene Link and family.
Erika was always a hard working person, becoming at one point head chef for AVI at Kodak before finishing her career with Kodak, retiring in May of this year.
Erika fought a long battle first with breast cancer and then mucosal melanoma, never giving up, never complaining. We all want to thank the doctors and their staffs for their help and compassion and a special thanks to Heather for the loving care given to her mother over several years.
