Zachary "Zac" Holland - February 23, 1983 - March 30, 2022

Departed: 03/30/2022 (New Carlisle)
Obituary Preview: We are very saddened to announce that Zachary “Zac” Holland passed away unexpectedly on 30 March in Nashville. Our shock and grief at losing him way too soon is softened only by the knowledge that he lived an amazingly full life. Zac brought light and laughter to everyone and everything he touched and the world is a darker and more somber place without him in it. He was 39.
Zac will be greeted by his mother, Jane Holland. He is survived by his father, Robert Holland; his brother, Jeremy Holland (Barbie); his two sons, Preston and Landon, and their mother, Keri. His memory will be carried forward by them and by the countless friends, colleagues, and acquaintances whose lives were affected in ways big and small by his infectious personality.
A native of Springfield, Ohio, Zac’s love of life and success in the construction and business worlds took him all over the country. His sense of humor, easy-going persona, and gift for conversation made him a natural salesman who made everyone in his presence feel at ease. He loved his work, hating on Ohio State football, and constantly busting the chops of his brother. But most of all, he loved his two boys. He was a good dad, a great dad. And this is how he would want to be remembered. Zac will be deeply missed but, his light lives on in Preston and Landon.
A Celebration of Zac’s life will be held Friday, April 8, 2022, from 4pm-7pm with a service and time for sharing beginning at 7:00pm at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, 507 W. Jefferson St., New Carlisle, OH 45344. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.trostelchapman.com.
