Obituary Preview: Deborah "Debbie" White Charlton, 66, of Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 17, 2024.Debbie is a survivor, she had made it through the murder of her husband in 1989, breast cancer in 2004, a stroke in 2016, and buried her oldest daughter, Christina Charlton Bradley in 2021. Despite the hardships she endured, Debbie still survived. She fought hard to remain in this world for her family. She used her love of music to guide her, support her emotionally, and bring joy to her family. She loved to sing and play her guitar. Debbie was employed for 32 years at Holston Valley Hospital, on Wilcox Hall W3 helping cancer survivors. She was a child of God whose fight has now ended. She is preceded by her mother, Emily White; father, Walter White; husband, Doug Charlton; special brother in law, Danny Charlton; daughter, Christy Bradley; sisters, Penny White and Georgie White; and one special nephew, Mikey Hurd. Debbie is survived by her daughter, Clarissa Lane and her partner Shawn Botkin; her grandchildren, Keylee Botkin, Noah Botkin, Cooper Lane, Cody Bradley, and Andrew Bradley; her great grandchild, Myles Carpenter; two sisters, Betty White and Cathy White; several nieces and nephews, Jessica Lawson(Brock), Dustin Bishop, Jason Duncan, Heather Duncan, Brooke Williams, Clint Page, Kimberly Kellogg, Ashley Kellogg, and Brandi Hurd. The family will receive friends and family at Trinity Memorial Centers on Thursday, May 23rd, 2024 from 5 PM until 7 PM. Services will follow at 7 PM conducted by Pastors Dennis Spears and Clint Page. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, any monetary donations be made to the college fund of Myles Carpenter, as she only got to share five short years with him. Known for her infectious laughter and quick wit, she had a unique gift for making everyone around her smile. She loved to crochet and was known for her extraordinary generosity, often giving selflessly to anyone in need. Her caring nature shone brightly in her work as a CNA.Terry was not just a devoted mother; she was a mother-figure to many, welcoming her children's friends into her heart and home. She had a particular fondness for Diet Pepsi, and cherished every moment with her children and grandchildren.Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 18th, at Trinity Memorial from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, with a funeral service following, officiated by Evangelist Mark Sexton. The graveside service will be at Hartsock Cemetery (Little Duck Road, Nickelsville, Virginia) after the funeral. She is survived by her husband, Marcus E. (Mark) Shelby; 2 children, David Shelby (Melissa Stroup) and Melissa Shelby (David Looney); and 2 grandchildren, Solomon Looney and Sidney Looney. Linda was born in Henderson, KY on December 5, 1939, the daughter of the late Oscar and Katherine Baskett. She graduated from Bowling Green College (now Western Kentucky University) with a degree in business education before moving to Ft. Lauderdale, FL where she met her husband Mark. Later they moved to Birmingham where she taught at Southern Institute before retiring to Wilsonville and living for the last 20 years . Linda was an avid fan of horseback riding and was a founding member of the Outback Trail Riders Club. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution as well as the Wilsonville Fine Arts Club where she enjoyed doing charity work in the local community. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Alice Jane Phillips. A Celebration of Linda's Life will be held at a later time in Wilsonville, AL. Memorial donations may be made to Shelby Humane (shelbyhumane.org) or Wild Horse Refuge (wildhorserefuge.org) as Linda loved all animals, especially horses.

Nick was born and lived most of his life in Kingsport, Tennessee. He attended Sullivan North High School, where he earned his G.E.D. and spent 3 years in the military. He was a huge sci-fi fan, loved working on electronics and cars, and could fix almost anything.
Nick was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. William (Bill) Winegar and Mrs. Jacqueline (Jackie) Richard Winegar; maternal aunt, Robin Winegar Eaton; and two cousins, Michelle Manis and Gabriel Grills.
He is survived by his parents, Ronnie and Jamie Winegar Gilliam; brother, Drew Gilliam; sister, Caitlin Gilliam; daughters, Chloe Gilliam Arellano (husband Ashton), and Myracle Gilliam; grandchildren, Greyson, Antonio, Ember and Madalynn; grandparents, Ron and Jo Lee Gilliam; aunts, Connie Winegar Richardson (husband John), Sherry (Jefph) Campbell, Robyn Gilliam Light and very special aunt and caregiver Wilma (Sher) Winegar Evans; two nephews. Noah and Xavier; and two nieces, Gigi and Bailey; and several cousins.
The family would like to thank Hospice, especially Makayla and Angie. A special thank you to Damien Estep, Nick's cousin who spent countless hours visiting him. An extra special thank you to his ex-wife, best friend and caregiver who was a blessing to Nick and his family, Emily Gilliam Hill. Thomas was the person that walked into the room and it instantly lit up. He was goofy and fun all of the time. He was a great father, son, husband, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew, and friend. He carried joy and love and poured it out to each person he encountered. He is the definition of a blessing. You would understand if you were ever blessed enough to have met him. It can not be stressed enough how Thomas loved his children. Dad was his favorite title. The feelings were mutual. His children adored him. Thomas's trophies in life were every milestone his children achieved and the moments he spent with them. Not only did he cherish moments with his children, he loved any moment when family was involved. The last few months Thomas struggled with heart health issues, but that didn't stop him from spreading his contagious joy and laughter. One thing is for sure Thomas DiGregorio will be missed yesterday, today, tomorrow, and always. He always had a drive that kept him looking ahead to the future. He served in the US Army from 1955 to 1958 and earned the ranking of Sargent. He was very proud of his military accomplishments. James was a man of many talents and experiences. Spent 20 years at Strongwell where he retired from at the age of 82. He was a dedicated worker and enjoyed what he did. In his free time, James enjoyed NASCAR, hunting, gardening, mowing and spending time outdoors. He cherished the sunshine and loved the Outer Banks. He was avid reader and enjoyed history. He was an intelligent man and a man of his faith. He loved the Lord with all of his heart. Family was everything to him. James is survived by his loving wife, Linda Bush; daughter, Sarah Bush "Sarahbeth" ,stepson, Jimmy Doss, granddaughters, Abbey and Mackenzie Doss.
