She was born in Bewleyville, KY on February 28, 1956. Roberta was know to her family and friends as "Bobbi" and as "Weezer" to her friend Todd Shilts. She retired from First State Bank, where she was employed for many years as a Vice President. Roberta was a member of Irvington United Methodist Church, Breckinridge County Library Board and Breckinridge County Arts Council. She was an avid reader, loved spending time at the beach, cross stitching and working jigsaw puzzles. Hummingbirds and Dragonflies were her favorites.
She was preceded in death by her father James Robert King. Roberta is survived by her husband Dennis Anthony of Irvington, KY her daughter Jami Anthony and her fiance Chris Tutt of Hardinsburg, KY her sister Mary Kendall and her husband Mark of Irvington, KY many nieces, nephews and friends
Friends and family are welcome to join us in celebrating Roberta's life on May 15, 2022 at 4 PM central time in the St. Romuald Parish Hall. Please bring your favorite appetizer. We will be sharing stories, memories and experiences that you have had with her.

She had a beautiful voice and was a former soloist with her church which is the Hardinsburg Baptist Church. Brucie enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking and traveling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jesse T. Beard, Sr., son Jesse T. Beard, Jr., daughter Nancy Lou Beard, sister Margaret Dowell and brothers Neil, Bob and Ken Moorman. Jerrell Morris Underwood, Sr. - July 14, 1936 - April 11, 2022

Obituary Preview: It is with deep sadness that the family of Reverend Jerrell Morris Underwood, Sr. announces his passing.
Reverend Underwood went to be with our Lord in the early morning hours of April 11, 2022 at his home, surrounded by the love of his devoted wife, Lavesta Sue Underwood and family members. Jerrell will be lovingly remembered by his wife and their 9 children: Jerrell Underwood, Jr. (Denise), Tana Schultze (Bud), Jennifer Hopps (David), Duncan Underwood (Jody), Natasha Duncan (Alex), Kimberly Kerr (Calvin), Nicole Glenn (Jon), Austin Underwood and Kellie Underwood. 28 grandchildren, 29 great- grandchildren, 3 great- great- grandchildren.
He will be greeted in heaven by his parents GA and Willene Underwood and his children Michelle and Rodney Underwood.
On July 14, 1936, Jerrell was born in Fulton, Kentucky as the only child. He met his sweetheart Lavesta Sue Britton at the church social and married on November 24, 1955. They built a solid bond and a wonderful life together and over the past sixty-six years Jerrell selflessly served as patriarch of their growing team of 71.
Reverend Underwood attended Bethel College in 1955 and was ordained a Cumberland Presbyterian Minister in 1960. He went on to earn his master's degree in Theology from Vanderbilt University in 1974. Reverend Underwood loved to serve the Lord and dedicated his life to service for over 50 years. Living a humble and grateful life, he and his wife opened their heart and home to over 100 foster kids over a period of four decades.
Jerrell's great gift to the world was his discipleship and the many lives who came to know Jesus through him. He will be best remembered for his love of classical and Irish music, love of hunting and fishing and being "Granddaddy". Time will not erase the memory of the sound of his deep baritone singing voice and full head of hair which he kept well into his eighties. His family and the community will miss his strong presence in their lives, but will rejoice knowing he is in peace and resting as the good and faithful servant he was. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7

He was well known to his many friends and family as Ricky, but he will mostly be missed by the ones who called him daddy, papaw or brother. He was preceded in death by his parents Millard and Norma Jean Severs King, his brother Millard Donald 'Donnie' King and sisters Sheila Rose King and Barbara Gail King Leathem. He is survived by 2 sisters: Linda Lou Brown and Carolyn Sue Brazelton
2 brothers: Kenneth Dale King (Jeannie) and Rodney Otis King. 10 nieces and nephews and 21 great nieces and nephews
Ricky blessed this world with amazing and dynamic children: His firstborn Shannon Rae King, then came Samantha Rose Satterly (Shawn) and son Cody King (Maggie) . Following later was Leah King. Ricky was blessed to live long enough to see his grandchildren:  Daniel and Darcy Satterly, Kiera and Noah King.
Ricky has worked as a heavy equipment operator, as well as a mechanic. He enjoyed working with logging crews, road crews and mining crews. These past few years, he enjoyed operating a few smaller pieces for his own homestead in Buras, Kentucky.
For the past several years, he has operated on a much smaller scale, but as he has told us, a much more fulfilling time on our place here in Buras. His homestead was a place to play in the dirt, mow some grass, listen to the birds sing and the wildlife roam. This simple man could be found often around the place enjoying the company of many friends in the garage, sharing tomatoes from his garden, talking about the good Lord giving us what we need, even though it may not be what we want. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed until we meet again in heaven.
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 11 AM. Burial will be private. Visitation will begin at 9 AM on Saturday.

Paula enjoyed reading and keeping up to date with world happenings. She loved her niece, nephew and their families and they adored her. Paula was a Warrior and Wonder Woman to her family and friends. Despite her cancer diagnosis in 2005, she fought daily for a normal life and for the most part, accomplished that as well. She accepted the hand that was dealt to her and tried to make each day a good one for herself, her family and her friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother Jean Anthony in 2012.
