She is survived by her seven grandchildren George, Jenifer (PJ) Brewer, Vincent, Ashley, Alexis, Isabella, and Sophia and two great granddaughters Jordana and Paige. She is also survived by her loving sister Jenine (Joseph) Aniano and longtime friends Sheri Rosen Brown and Phil Seiflein. She is predeceased by her two sons George and Richard Acunto, her parents Maria and Joseph and her siblings Augustino and Joseph. She is also survived by many wonderful nieces and nephews that she adored. She loved life and was a very gifted artist. She was a very proud educator and Principal of the High School at Nassau BOCES Cultural Arts Center. She studied education, psychology, and art history to name the
many fields she was so deeply proud of as well as her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
The wake service will be held at 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 6th at Towers Funeral Home Inc., 2681 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY.

She is also survived by her siblings, her twin sister Gail Devlin Henkel, her brother Brian Devlin, and her cousins who became her sisters Deirdre Maxwell Corte and Ellen Jaffe. She is predeceased by her husband Jim Kerls and her parents Bill, Helen and Patricia Devlin. She is also survived by numbers of sisters-in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews and more friends than can be counted. She welcomed everyone into her home and her life with a strong loving embrace. While her last few years were tough, she continued to show her fighting Irish spirit. She LOVED life and loved being with her friends and family. She had a long and awarded career at Molloy College in the Department of Nursing of which she was proud. She is also survived by her 16 beloved great-grandchildren and her brother Michael Cullen.
Mary loved family, golf and swimming. She was a charter member of the Rosary Altar Society and long time parishoner of St. Anthonys Church in Oceanside. Donations can be made in memory of Mary to:

Kenneth was born on October 15, 1952 in Oceanside, NY. He attended CW Post and Hofstra University where he earned a Bachelors and Masters degree in education. He had over 30 years' experience in educational technology and many leadership positions as assistant superintendent, technology director, teacher center director, K12 teacher, staff developer, author of professional and trade publications, and graduate level education. He has designed innovative new school facilities, library media centers, and education technology solutions with thought leaders from many disciplines, including Nobel laureates. He served the Hauppauge, Eastport/South Manor, Jericho, and Seaford Public Schools, where the Ken Graham Technology Center was dedicated in his honor. He created a rubric for evaluating library media centers for the Nassau School Library System that was adopted nationally. He is responsible for developing a number of educational tools, including Technology Design for the L!BRARY Project with the Robin Hood Foundation and NYC Public Schools, and is the author of numerous scholarly works in the field. Ken created the Richard P. Feynman Science and Technology Learning Center at Seaford Middle School. He lived his life constantly questioning conventional wisdom and prizing inquiry. Ken was a deeply beloved colleague, friend, uncle (and great uncle), brother, son, husband, and father. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Michelle, daughter Christine Sanders, sisters Karen and Lois and their spouses Frank and Jack, and brother Doug and wife Barbara.
