Michele Diane Beck - July 16, 1958 - April 10, 2022

Departed: 04/10/2022 (Mt. Oliver, Pittsburgh)
Obituary Preview: BECK Michele D. (Hunter)
Age 63, on Sunday, April 10, 2022, of South Park, originally Mount Washington.
Michele gained her beautiful wings & heavenly crown on April 10th, 2022.
Beloved wife of Robert S. Beck;  devoted Mother of Ariana M. Beck, Chelsey L. Beck, and Mariah D. Beck; Doting Grandmother of Kaydence A. Beck-Evans, and her granddog Winston (Winnie); loving daughter of the late James L. Hunter, and Iris E. Hunter (Jeffries). Compassionate Sister of Eric L. Hunter and April D. Atwater; also survived by an abundance of nieces and nephews.
She was a best friend and surrogate mother to many and will be terribly missed. Excerpt from the obituary bulletin:
Michele D. (Hunter) Beck, a Pittsburgh native, was born on July 16, 1958 to James L. Hunter and Iris E. Hunter. She was best known for her infectious laughter, her kind-hearted motherly nature, and "take no BS" frame of mind.
She was a 1976 graduate of South Hills High School where unbeknownst to her on graduation day, she would kiss her future husband and the love of her life, Robert S. Beck (aka "Boo"). They were married on December 1, 1984, and soon after expanded their family with 3 girls, Ariana, Chelsey, and Mariah, of which she considered the greatest accomplishments of her life.
Our mother was unapologetically, a woman of God, best known as a prayer warrior and if she felt the urge, she would pray for anyone at the drop of a hat. She was a mediator, the glue that truly held her family together, the life of the party, decoration extraordinaire, and the best cook, hands down, but took it personal when she could not perfect  her macaroni and cheese recipe, like her sister's. Over the years, she wore many different hats, some of which included: banking, interior design, and in the healthcare field. But on March 7, 2019, she was promoted to her most favorite pisition of all....Grandmother (more affectionately known as Na'nee). And I quote "Uhh...I just LOVE HER so much, I wish I could just unzip my chest and place her inside...she is my heartbeat and the air that I breathe!"
On April 10,2022, she started a new assignment...she gained her wings and became one of the most beautiful angels. We know she is with God, making all of the other angels laugh and is smiling down upon all of us. To us she'll always be more than just a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, an aunt, and a friend. She was our EVERYTHING! We love and miss you so very much already. Until we meet again.

To all our family and friends.
That Sunday night under God, I was with her and watched over her while holding her hand.  I didn’t know how I was going to handle this or where I’d find the strength.  Looking back, I realize I am my mother’s son.  10 years ago we thought she was going to pass away.  But with prayer and God’s grace, she made a recovery and lived to know her granddaughter.  She lived to make more memories with all of us.  Everybody knew her in their own way and had a unique personal relationship with her.  She really was a glue that held people together.  Some of you have known her longer than me and that’s a testament to her character.  She was straightforward and not afraid to tell you how she felt.  Patricia Louise (Self) Stockline was one of the best people I’ve ever known.  A remarkable mother, wonderful friend, and extraordinary person.  She was just about as strong as they come.  I am incredibly fortunate and blessed to be born unto her.  You all know she loved each and every one of you.  I know my heart isn’t breaking alone.

Lori Ann Vasquez - July 02, 1997 - December 15, 2021

Departed: 12/15/2021 (Mt. Oliver, Pittsburgh)
Obituary Preview: VASQUEZ Lori Ann
Age 24, on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, in Petersburg, VA, of the Knoxville section of Pittsburgh.
Lori Ann was born during the summer heatwave of '97 in the Bronx, a borough of New York City, to Yvette Rodriguez and Ricardo Vasquez.
Even in her early years, she was a spitfire. She was always ruled by her passions and emotions, much like a wild mare who refused to be broken and tamed. She was bold and courageous, never caring as to who she may offend. Lori never allowed herself to be defined by what others thought she was, or should be, and always tried to be true to who she felt she was inside. Her strength was immeasurable and inspiring.
Lori was taken from us on December 15th, 2021. She leaves behind a hole in many lives, one that can never be filled nor replaced. She was a cherished daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. She will be missed tremendously, but she is reunited with her grandmother, Carmen and her uncle Michael, who were also taken from us too soon.
