She was a 1970 graduate of Ball State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree for Teaching and in 1988 her Master of Arts.
Prior to her retirement, Sharon was a Special Education teacher with Connersville High School, worked for First Steps and taught elementary school in her earlier years.  She most enjoyed spending her leisure time with her grandchildren; but also enjoyed her time in Florida, on the beach.
She leaves to cherish her memory her former husband, Jim Timmerman; a son, Michael James Timmerman (wife, Stephanie); two daughters, Jessica Jean Baldwin (husband, David) and Dawn Marie Long (husband, Kurtis); loving grandmother of five, Lyla and Luke Baldwin, Tylan and Brinley Long, and Mariah Timmerman; brother, Mike Smock; sister Cinda Allenza; and several cousins, nieces and nephew. Bennie retired in 2010 as a skid-loader operator for Mendenhall Lumber, Union City, IN. He was a member of the Union City VFW #7804 and Randolph County Amateur Radio Club (KC9MPP). He enjoyed spending his leisure time in the outdoors; coin and knife collecting; playing his guitar and winning at the slot machines. He was a big supporter of the Randolph County Law Enforcement Youth Leadership Camp.

Obituary Preview: Daniel Joseph Farmer Sr., 70, of Richmond, IN, unexpectedly passed away at St. Vincent Randolph hospital in Winchester, IN on Friday, January 28, 2022.  He was born in Winchester, IN on February 7, 1951 to Gordon and Cleo Belle (Moore) Farmer.
Danny graduated from Lincoln High School in Cambridge City, IN, later earning his degree in criminal justice from IU East, Richmond.  In 1980, Pastor Danny made his commitment to faith, and dedicated his life to serving the Lord in many ways.  He preached the word of God to everyone that crossed his path.  He loved sports and through the years had coached/umpired/refereed many teams including basketball, baseball, softball, and track.  Danny enjoyed playing horseshoes and helping out at the Richmond Senior Center in his leisure time, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and great-grand children.  The past few years, with his large frame and full white beard, Danny was thrilled to be chosen to play Santa Claus in many different locations, traveling as far as Wisconsin to fill the role.
He leaves to cherish in his memory Charlotte Ann (Burchfield) Farmer, to whom he was married for 44 years; two sons, Phil Ross (wife Kristi) of Modoc, IN and Danny Farmer Jr. of Richmond, IN; two daughters, Ursula Ross (husband Jeff) of Richmond, IN and Marsha Farmer of Madisonville, TN; a brother, Tom Farmer of Lynn, IN; a sister Sharon Smith of Richmond, IN; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Larry, Ron, Gary, and a sister, Shirley Combs. Janis worked as a waitress at Reeve’s Cafe in Winchester, Anchor Hocking, Harold Deloach Architects in Macon, Georgia, and was most recently a volunteer at the Winchester Chamber of Commerce.  She loved helping the residents and business owners of Randolph County through her work there.
She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Susan (Reid) Ralls (husband Mike Ralls); grandchildren, Brandy Ralls and Josh Ralls; their Yorkie, Ginger; a step-son, Larry Sarver (wife Jan Sarver) of Clearwater, Florida; and nieces. She was preceded in death by Tom “TK” Reid her son, and Otto Sarver her husband, brothers John Stormes and Frank “Sonny” Stormes, and a sister Pauline (Stormes) Harrell.
The family has chosen private services.  Burial will be at Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester, IN.  There are no public calling hours.

She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her husband of 12 years, Joshua Clouse, her children Jordan (Katlynn) Smith, Levi and Lydia Clouse; her parents Fred (Linda) Hoffman and Deborah (Charlie) Bennett; her siblings Jim (Natalie) Hoffman and Chrissy (Jeff) Berry; her beloved nieces and nephews Erika (Lukas) St. Laurent and Kendra, Makenzi Berry, Logan (Ashlynn Williams) Melton and Zaylee, and Devin (Miah Patterson) Loudy, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Candice was surely welcomed with joy by those who went before her, including her grandparents Bill and Leah Hoffman, Jim and Betty Stump, her Aunt Karen Smith, and Uncle Stu Smith.
Candice (often called Candi by her friends, but always known as Candice by her beloved husband and dad) was born September 29, 1979 in Union City, Indiana. She graduated from Winchester Community High School in 1998 and received her Associate Degree in Business Administration and Management from Ivy Tech in Indianapolis. She was employed as the Personal Lines Manager at Thompson Insurance and Financial Services since 2005.
When speaking of Candice, Josh described her as “bubbly, stubborn, determined, kind.” She was known for her wry sense of humor and mischievous smile. She loved fishing and shooting. Candice lived life to the full, with an inspiring, infectious smile and a warm, welcoming spirit. She was known as a mentor and treasured friend, especially to others going through their own cancer battle.
Candice gave her all to help people through her work and was known for her honesty and integrity. She won numerous awards and was crucial in Thompson Insurance being recognized for excellence in the industry. Her knowledge coupled with her work ethic made an impact on everyone who worked with her.
She attended both Farmland and Lynn Friends churches and found peace and comfort in her relationship with Jesus.
Most of all, Candice was a deeply devoted mother, and she was committed to guiding her children with love and strength and providing the best for them. She was always so proud of their achievements, and she loved them fiercely.
Josh, Jordan, Levi and Lydia would like to extend special gratitude to Fred Hoffman, Chrissy Berry, and Becky Clouse for being such committed, caring, and supportive caregivers throughout Candice’s illness.

Loren received his Bachelor of Science for Vocational Agriculture from Purdue University of Lafayette, IN; his Masters for School Administration from Ball State University of Muncie, IN; and attended Asbury Seminary. He and his wife, Mary Emily, served as missionaries at Kickapoo Friends Center in Oklahoma from 1967-1973. He pastored at Rural Friends near Winchester, IN for more than 30 years. During his career, he also taught high school agriculture and worked as a Qualified Medical Assistant at the Richmond State Hospital.
During his later years, he was involved in the Allis-Chalmers Indiana Partnership organization, the Randolph County Antique Club, and Bible Study Fellowship. He also enjoyed baking pies and doing latch hook projects.
He leaves to cherish his memory three children, Brian Lilly and Deborah Lilly, both of Fountain City, IN and Michele Lilly of Lynn, IN; and close friend, Beverley Paul. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Emily (married June 4, 1965); and a brother, Virgil.
A service to celebrate Loren’s life will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Rural Friends Meeting, 521 E 400 South, Winchester, IN 47394.  There will be a tractor parade to the Spartanburg Cemetery of Spartanburg, IN following services at the church. Tom loved watching his grandkids play sports. He also loved woodworking and was known for his bird houses.
