Moonie was educated through the East Orange and Newark Public School Systems respectively. He was a loving person. He was known as a jokester to many, he loved spending countless hours with his family.
In 2010, Moonie met and formed a family of his own with the love of his life Satoria Houseman. Together in love they were blessed with four strong sons and one beautiful daughter. He loved his family dearly. Moonie had a good heart and he owned a contagious smile.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving girlfriend Satoria Houseman, his adored children Jayden, Ayden, Sumari, Avery and Alaia. His father and stepmother Marcellus and Aysha Brown, paternal grandmother Mattie Brown, brothers Malachi and Makell, sister Yasnaiah, aunts Clara, Valerie, Cynthia, Matheila, Celeste and Victoria, uncles Michael, Shawn, Frank, Jr. Frank III and Benjamin and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Moonie was preceded in death by those that will welcome him home on the other side, his mother, Lizzie Cummings, Maternal Grandmother Marsha Cummings, paternal grandfather Frank, Sr. maternal grandfather Andrew Bishop and his sister Tanaijah Webb his cousins Jerome, Sierra, Kamisha and his aunt Theresa.
Marcel "Moonie" Cummings will continue to live in the hearts and minds of those he love and those that loved him.

Gregory Al’Terik Ellis, (affectionately known as “Greg”, “Gee”, or “Jersey”), was born on January 21, 1973 in Newark, New Jersey to Henry T. Cosby and Irene Ellis. He was educated in the Newark Public School system. Gregory earned various Welding Certifications and was also a very skilled, independent barber.
Gregory married Rhoshon Sanders on May 24, 2013 and they later moved to Hornell, New York with their son, Zy’Aire. Gregory worked at McCourt during the day and during the night at ACS Cleaning Facility as a Detailing Technician. Gregory earned many awards and certificates in this position, which inspired him to start his own cleaning business named after his paternal grandfather, Smiley Cleaning Services LLC.
On Tuesday, November 21, 2023, Gregory departed this life at the age of fifty.
He was predeceased by his grandparents: Jeffrey (Jeff) Ellis, Henry (Smiley) Cosby, Mary-Jane (Nana) Ellis, and Alberta (Bert) Johnson; and his brother: Aaron Ellis.
Gregory Al’Terik Ellis leaves to cherish fond memories, his wife: Rhoshon Sanders; his parents: Henry (Lynn) Cosby, and Irene Ellis; his children: Shanaya Washington, Khatia Ellis, Accacia Wise, and Zy’Aire Ellis; his siblings: Kimberly Ellis, Jennifer Cosby, Jessica Cosby, Petty Officer 2nd Class Brandon Cosby, Bre’von Cosby, and Bryan Cosby; 6 grandchildren: Malena, Melanie, Treasure, Kahmari, Miella, and Egypt; 2 aunts: Cynthia Cosby-Woods and Cynthia Ellis; 2 brothers-in-law: Walter (Crystal) and Ty-Juan (Trene) Sanders; and a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, and friends.

Ronald was born on June 24, 1965, to Ammer Lee Mcleod and English Johnson in Bishopville, South Carolina. In 1974 Ronald moved to Newark, NJ with his mother and 4 siblings there Ronald adopted the name Fuquan or Fu that everyone knows and loves him as. Ronald grew up on 15th Avenue as a child and as an adult he hung out with his friends in New Community. Ronald had a side smile that can make anyone laugh because you knew he was up to no good. Whenever you saw  Fu, he was on his bike traveling the streets of Newark. Ronald loved and adored his mother, he made sure to see her every day. Ronald was strong with a soft heart, always helping and willing to work.
Ronald was educated at Newton Street Elementary School and Central High School in the city of Newark. Ronald later obtained his High School Diploma from the National Guard. Throughout his lifetime Ronald was employed at Handy Store Fixtures and Newark Sanitation. He was last employed with The Design Company as Security. Ronald went to work faithfully and on time. He also worked side jobs remodeling homes with various landlords.
Ronald was preceded in death by his Sister Thomasina Mcleod, Stepson Rashaun Leaks, Sister-in-Law Bernadette Palmer, and favorite Cousin Eron Nero.
Ronald made his earthly departure on June 19, 2023. He Leaves to cherish his loving memory to his two Children Charmecia (Josh) Barnes and Aaron (Ajah) Watts Three Grandchildren Mckenzie Barnes, Ariah Watts and Akhi Watts. His Mother Ammer Lee Mcleod (Albert Gary) 5 siblings Willie, Ann, Bobby, Al Tarik and Lytiffah 22 nieces and nephews Hassan, Niyanna, Setrecia, Aquil, Isja, Zakeeyah, Cierra, Travis, Yahzea, Essence, Naishaun, Lasanah, Laziah, Nylah, Milan, Zia, Jo’Lanni, Trinity, Tahj, Avianna, Asaad and Ja’ir 1 Godson Rahmil Springer, 1 aunt Patricia Mcleod-Taylor,   His long time sweet heart Gwendolyn Leaks, 2 sister in laws Kareemah Lamb and Lesa Hankerson 1 Brother in law Joel Bradford and a host of loving cousins and friends.

She also earned her Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a prestigious credential attesting to her expertise and professionalism in accounting.
Her career was marked by dedication and excellence in the field of accounting, having worked at Prestige Volvo and Independence Family Services before joining Rutgers University. At Rutgers, she progressed from an Accounting Specialist to a Senior Accountant Supervisor, and most recently served as a Business Manager.
Samantha was a member of Evangel Church in Scotch Plains, NJ, and lived a life full of faith and love. Her personal life was filled with joy, happiness and love for her children, family and friends. She was a master cook and baker, and loved to share her delectable cuisine with loved ones and friends.
She leaves behind a loving family: her husband Craig Bartley; sons Camari, Cai, and Corey; her mother Marlene Shelton; father Glen Riley; sisters Kellee-Sue and Sasha; brothers Kevin, Raheem, Adrian, Ryan, Gayon, Glen Jr, Omar and Sean; mother-in-law Murdeline, father-in-law Melbourne, stepmother-in-law Cynthia, and sisters-in-law Danielle and Rushea. Samantha also leaves to mourn eight uncles, five aunts, nieces, nephews as well as a host of other relatives, friends, and colleagues too numerous to mention by name.
The Family Funeral Home is coordinating the arrangements. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 9 AM at Evangel Church at 1251 Terrill Road, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076. Following the funeral service, family and friends will proceed to Hillside Cemetery at 1401 Woodland Ave, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076, where Samantha will be laid to rest.
Samantha's life and legacy will be remembered as one of unwavering love, loyalty, and dedication to her family, friends and community.
