She was born May 14, 1937, in Coles County, Illinois, the daughter of Lewis Elmer and Mildred Hazel (Snapp) Woodard. She married Thomas F. Taber, June, 1959 in Bethany, Illinois. Mr Taber passed away April 11, 1996. Betty worked in quality control at General Electric of Mattoon for 27 years she also was a Registered Nurse. She was a member of the Zion Hill Methodist Church, where she was active in the Relay For Life. Betty was also a member of the Mattoon Moose Club, and the Neoga American Legion Auxiliary. Betty loved spending time with her family and friends and showing off her 1969 Pontiac GTO muscle car. She leaves her daughter, Karen Craig of Neoga, Illinois; step daughter Debra Spinner of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; special companion, Jesse Sanderson of Neoga, Illinois; brothers, Jerry Woodard (Donna) of Mowequa, Illinois and Donald Woodard (Judy) of Gays, Illinois; sister, Wilma June Hardin of Mattoon, Illinois; grandchildren, Timothy Gebhardt (Kristy) of Diona, Illinois and Christopher Gebhardt (Tracy) of Neoga, Illinois; step-grandson, Ryan Gessell (Brandi) of Mechanicsburg, Illinois; four great grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren and several neices and nephews; long time best friend, Martha Crim. Mary loved camping, doing crafts, gardening, combing through antique shops, watching hummingbirds, playing with her dogs and doting upon her grandchildren. Mrs. Morrison leaves her husband, Garry of rural Sigel; one son, Jeff Morrison (Shari) of Neoga; daughter, Lori Morrison Bufalo (Gary) of Wentzville, Missouri; four granddaughters, Maddi and Megan Morrison of Neoga, Illinois and Sophia and Lilli Bufalo of Wentzville, Missouri; two brothers, David Johnson (Kathy) of Dennison, Illinois and John Johnson (Amy) of Bloomington, Illinois; one sister, Linda Gray (George) of Indianapolis, Indiana. Bob was born February 3,1951 in Mattoon, IL : the eldest child of Morris E. and Rosemary A. (Hoedebecke) Strohl. He graduated from Neoga High School with the class of 1969.
On June 19, 1982 Bob married the love of his life, Linda Marie Koelsch at Lillyville, Illinois. Bob grew up raising sheep, cattle, and driving tractors. From a very early age, Bob learned the values of hard work, commitment, and perseverance. These qualities combined with his faith in God, were the guiding forces of his life. Together with Linda, Bob was able to gradually expand his farm and start a small trucking company, STROHL FARMS of Neoga.
Bob was always a loving husband, a dedicated son, and a caring and generous brother.
Bob leaves behind to mourn his passing his beloved wife Linda, mother Rosemary Strohl, brothers Tom (Cathy), Don (Ellen), Tim (Linda), and Mike (Chris) and sister Susan (Bill) Partlow all of Neoga; mother-in-law Anna Lee Koelsch Teutopolis, brothers-in-law Roger (Andrea Wernsing) Koelsch and Frank Koelsch all of Teutopolis, and sister-in-law Alice (Dan) Fearday of Neoga, and many nieces and nephews whom he cherished and adored.
He was preceded in death by his father, Morris, brother Larry, and father-in law Ray Koelsch.
Memorials are suggested to H.S.H.S. Hospice to help with the care of hospice patients in the Neoga, Sigel, and Effingham area.
Visitation for Bob will be from 3 to 7p.m. on Sunday, June 9th, in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Neoga, beginning with a rosary @ 3pm.
A Mass of Christian burial will be on Monday, June 10th at 10am at St. Mary's Church.
Burial will be in the St. Patrick Cemetery in Trowbridge, Illinois.

Joseph was born October 13, 1931, in Mattoon, the son of Samuel C. and Pearl L. (Tatman) Wallace. Joe played football for the Mattoon Green Wave in his high school years, he then joined the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954. He married Jessie M. Green August 31, 1958 in Trilla she passed away January 31, 2013. Mr. Wallace was the owner/operator of J&J Meat Market later known as Wallace Brothers Meat Market in Mattoon. Joe later retired from Anemet Electrical in Mattoon after 15 years.
Joseph is survived by his sons Robert "Bob" Wallace (Wanda) of rural Trilla and Sam Wallace (Tami) of Toledo; daughters, Lorinda Procell (Andy) of Mattoon and Patricia Thompson (Scott) of Trilla; eight grandchildren, Kari, Annie, Robin and Christopher Wallace, Jessica Hiller, Nick Poffinbarger, Samantha English and J.D. Thompson; five step grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; sister in law, Dorothy Wallace of Mattoon. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Jessie Wallace; two brothers, Tom and George Wallace and one sister Nellie Glasscock.

Carl leaves his special friend, Marcie Bingham (Brian)of Neoga, Illinois; ex wife, Frances Ripplinger of Mattoon, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by, parents; two brothers, Othel and Hershel Swick; and one sister, Ruby Akers.

Nancy was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Merl; and 1 Brother, David Austin, in-laws William and Vera Miller, sister-in-law Norma Harris, brother-in-law’s Roger Harris and Ruben Dahnke and niece Brenda Thompson.

She was born January 31, 1937, in Macoupin County, Illinois, the daughter of Abraham Lincoln and Flora (Lott) Loveless. Lois married John C. Luallen on August 21, 1960 in Carlinville, Illinois. She lived in Neoga Illinois for over 40 years before moving to Mattoon. John passed away January 21, 2011. She was a High School teacher at Stewardson-Strasburg for 25 years and then retired as a secretary in the Economics Department at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois after 23 years. Lois was a member of the Maranatha Baptist Church in Mattoon, Illinois, and enjoyed the Tuesday morning Ladies Bible Study as well as the Maranatha Church’s General Bible Study in Mattoon. She was a testimony to Christ’s love and was one of the greatest examples of a giving, loving and caring soul that ever walked the earth. Lois was also instrumental in providing transportation to the church when it was needed. She was a very caring and giving neighbor and friend to all, she was an avid fan of Gospel Concerts, specifically His In Service (Jo Ann Luallen, David Finley and Sherrie Coen with her son Neil handling sound) and One America News, Fox News and Dave Ramsey. She supported a variety Christian ministries including Compassion International, Faith Home Orphanage in Honduras, Midwest Food Bank, and several others that shared her desire to help promote the Good News of the Gospel throughout the world. She was a Godly wife, mother, and friend.
She gained her Undergraduate from Blackburn College in Carlinville, Illinois and earned a Masters at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois. Lois leaves her son, Neil Luallen and his wife Jo Ann of Mattoon, Illinois; three beloved kitties, Inky, Peaches and Grace; sisters-in-law, Jean Loveless of Gillispie, Illinois and Betty McQuality and husband Dick of Decatur, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John: 2 brothers, Lindell and Randall Loveless.
A celebration of Lois’ Home Going will be at 3:00 PM Wednesday May 29, 2019 at the Maranatha Baptist Church in Mattoon, Illinois with Pastor Dan Haifley officiating. Visitation services will be held on Tuesday, May 28 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Swengel - O’Dell Funeral Home in Neoga, Illinois, and Wednesday from 2 PM to 3PM, prior to her Home Going celebration at the Church. A graveside service will be held at the Smyser Cemetery near Gays, Illinois directly after the home going ceremony.

Glen was retired from the Nickle Plate Railroad and also worked at a service station for years. He was an avid fisherman and loved spending time with family and friends and was famous for his tomatoes. He married Lillian Harris December 10, 1988 in Cumberland County and she survives. Also Glen is survived by his daughters, Debra Carrie of Petersburg, and Jane Richey (Dennis) of Ashmore; Step-Daughters, Dorothy Scott of Atwood and Joann Charles of Greenup; Brother, Donald Martin (Linda) of Neoga; Sisters, Pauline Verdeyen of Effingham and Grace Winnings of Sarasota, Florida; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; special friends, Donald and Mary Cordes of Neoga. He was preceded in death by his parents; two Brothers, Bobby Dean and Earl B. Martin; four Sisters, Gwendolyn Mayhall, Jean Bernadini, June Grunloh and Shirley Stateler. Ed was proud of his two sons, Daniel and his wife Jean and their kids, Kelsey, Sam and Kylee; and Todd his wife Tara and their kids, Trevor and Tegan Michael and husband Travis; great grandchildren, Athena and Björn.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Three siblings, Raymond, Garland and Clara Belle.

Mrs. Edwards leaves her Children, Jack Hines (Donna) of St. Stephens Church, Virginia, Walter Lee Edwards, Jr. (Kelly) of Charleston and Wanda Wallace (Bob) of rural Trilla; ten Grandchildren, Tad, Spencer, Jayme, Tony, Kassie, Kristin, Walter, Kari, Annie and Robin; thirteen Great Grandchildren, Chase, Cameron, Milo, Gus, Vincent, Halli, Annaliese, Ben, Gracie, Owen, Lila, Colbie and Elliet; Nephews, Gerald Edwards of Lerna, and Roger Edwards of Decatur, . His funeral service will be Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sigel, Illinois with Pastor Earl Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 4pm to 8pm on Friday evening, March 22 at the church and one hour before the service. Burial will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery of Sigel, with military services conducted by the Sigel American Legion Post 1134 of Sigel.
Victor was born on October 26, 1924 in Cumberland County to Arthur and Ernestine (Gust) Czerwonka. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sigel of which he was a lifelong member. He served in the US Army from August 1944 to September 1947 at Ft. Lewis, Washington. After his discharge from the Army, he returned to the area and farmed until his retirement in 1989. Even after his retirement, he continued to work for area farmers providing help as necessary. He was a 70-year member of the Sigel American Legion and served on the Neoga School Board for 18 years. He also held several offices at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and bowled in the Lutheran League in Effingham for over fifty years.
Victor married Florence Traub at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Louisville, IL, on April 5, 1953. In addition to his wife of 65 years, he leaves his children, Cheryl Eastin of Neoga, Doug (Deborah) of Fenton, MO, Greg (Barbara) of Marietta, GA, and Randy of Effingham; Grandchildren Jeff Eastin, Craig (Jenny) Eastin, Christine (Brian) Knobbe, Jonathan Czerwonka, Matthew Czerwonka, David Czerwonka, Jacob Czerwonka, Lucas Czerwonka, and Samuel Czerwonka; Great-Grandchildren Aubrey and Wyatt Eastin and Jared and Drew Knobbe. Brothers, Don (Leona) of Tuscola, Melvin (Janet) of Effingham; Sisters, Madeline Horath of Mattoon, and Wanda (Lowell) Miller of Mattoon. Preceding him in death were his parents, brother, Howard and sisters, Helen, Margaret, Lucille, and Delores. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
