Survivors include two sons, Ronnie Pearson and wife, Nancy of Moore and Larry Pearson and wife, Debra of Reidville; a brother, Charles Griffin; five grandchildren, David Pearson, Don Hall, Anita Pearson, Kevin Hall and Larmie Pearson; nine great-grandchildren, Brandon Hall, Chrislin Hall, Bailey Hall, Austin Hall, Braylen Caldwell, Ben Pearson, Katlyn Hall, Robbie Pearson and Riley Pearson; seven great-great grandchild; and special friend and caregiver, Brenda Pearson. She was predeceased by her daughter, Elaine Brackins; a granddaughter, Robin Pearson; five brothers, Edward Griffin, Jr., Richard Griffin, Wilbert Griffin, Bobby Joe Griffin and Johnny Griffin; and a sister, Doris Ray.
Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Reidville First Baptist Church with Rev. Ricci Allen, Sr. officiating. The family will receive friends from until 1PM until 2PM prior to the service.

Jeffery Scott Goodwin, 55, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024.  Born in Spartanburg, he was the son of Faye Ann Pearson Goodwin and the late James "Doug" Douglas Goodwin and the husband of Patricia "Trisha" Jackson Goodwin.  He graduated from Byrnes High School in 1987, attended Spartanburg Methodist College and was formerly employed with Eaton Corporation. Scottie loved sports, coached baseball and softball for D5 in Reidville, was an avid hunter and fisherman and a fan of Gamecocks and Panthers.
Survivors also include a son, Klay Goodwin; a daughter, Kaitie Goodwin; a brother, James Goodwin and wife, Sherry.
Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Stribling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12PM until 1PM prior to the service.

Survivors also include his daughter, Angie Fowler and her husband, Greg; two grandchildren Miles Fowler and Greer Fowler; and a sister, Brenda Hegler. He was predeceased by two brothers Charles Hinson and  Sonny Hinson.

Linda Tweed Norris Keeble -79, of Covington, GA passed peacefully on May 11, 2024 surrounded by family. Linda was born in Greer, SC. She was the middle daughter of the late Rev. Alvin E. Tweed & Margaret Louise Taylor Tweed. She was co-owner of Express Reprographics and was instrumental in bringing fast girls pitch softball and competition cheer to Rockdale County. Linda was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt and friend to many. Linda enjoyed spending time at the beach with family. She was an avid fan of the SC Gamecocks, Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years Stephen Troy Keeble. Son; Jeff Norris (Wanda); a step-daughter, KayLynn Hausman and husband Will; sister, Sandy Gaskins (Buster); brothers in law; Michael Keeble (Susan), David Keeble, sisters in law; Amy Huffaker (Claude); Mary Eaton, special niece, Lynn James (Dennis) and several nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by sister, Carolyn Tweed Hamby, nephew Jody Gaskins, and infant grandson Scotty Norris.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Wood Memorial Park, Greer SC.

Peggy Smith Carlisle, 92, the wife of the late John Stanley Carlisle, Jr. of Spartanburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 07, 2024. Born November 08, 1931 in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence A. Smith and Bertha G. Smith.
Mrs. Carlisle was a homemaker, worked for D.S.S and after twenty plus years, she retired as the Director of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program for Spartanburg County. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Spartanburg High School and a graduate of Converse College with a double major in Sociology and Psychology.
Survivors include her son, Mark A. Carlisle and wife, Meridith W. Carlisle; her grandson, Pearson A. Carlisle, all of Duncan. She was predeceased by her brother, Harry K. Smith of Smyrna, GA.
Graveside services will be held at 2PM on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Brad Gray and Rev. David Smith officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

He was awarded many achievements and awards, that include an Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Drivers Badge with Bar, Army Good Conduct Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Achievement Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Southwest Asia Service Medal with two bronze service stars for his time spent in Kuwait.
Survivors also include a brother, Donald Masek, Jr.; and a sister, Teresa Moore; three sisters-in-law, Zoe Laureano, Nancy Laureano and Olga Laureano; two brothers-in-law, Andy Laureano and Billy Laureano; five nieces, Zoe Carrasquillo, Jennifer Carstensen, Cassie Cabrera, Jessica Laureano and Ronnie Bobbit; two nephews, Jose Carrasquillo and Jonathan Laureano; his cousins, Robyn Lee and Doug Horne; and his childhood friend, Eric Bloomstadt. He was a member of "Good Timers" bowling league.
Survivors include two sons, James "Jimmy" Burnett, Jr. and  Joe Burnett and his wife, Susan; a daughter, Renee Peace and her husband, Pete; five grandchildren, Corrie Peace, Leslie Roper and her husband, Derek, Joshua Burnett, Dusty Peace and his wife, Nikki and Leigh Ann Wilkinson and her husband, Michael; nine great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Elizabeth, Will, Ryan, Breah, Eli, Eva, Olivia and Sienna; and three great-great grandchildren, Katie, A.J. and Langston.
Memorial services will be held at 6PM on Tuesday, April 09, 2024 at Care Baptist Church with Rev. David Slatton and Rev. Bobby Henderson officiating. The family will receive friends from 4PM until 6PM prior to the service.
A private family burial will be at Westwood Memorial Gardens.
