Trudy was a skilled cosmetologist, who never left the house without her hair and makeup being perfection. She was also a crafter who made the most intricate personalized Christmas stockings for everyone in the family. She was active in all of her childrens endeavors as well; being a 4-H and Girl Scout mother.

With a storyteller’s heart and an amazing memory Dora would always share her fond memories of her childhood adventures growing up in Stanton, Texas being the youngest of nine and traveling across America to various states with her family who were at times seasonal migrant workers. She would reminisce embracing life’s simple joys, persevering through the difficult times and holding steadfast to her faith of Jesus Christ along the way. After leaving high school in Stanton, Texas and working at Texas Instruments in Midland for several years, a servant’s heart led Dora to the healthcare industry where she worked at Midland Memorial Hospital as a certified nurse’s assistant and in private home health care for many years where her compassion for helping others was seen and felt by all those around her. The small pleasures in life brought much joy to Dora. As a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend she dearly loved investing quality time with family and friends, gardening, traveling, catching a good movie, feeding her loved ones with delicious homemade dishes like her family favorite “Louie’s enchiladas” and having great conversations at the kitchen table while indulging in something sweet. Blessed with a beautiful spirit and great sense of humor she would make new friends out of strangers everywhere she went with her kind smile and optimistic attitude towards life. She will be deeply missed but her legacy will carry on forever reminding us to act out a meaningful life of grace, forgiveness, compassion, love and joy, just as Christ modeled for us.
She is preceded in death by her father Cruz Aguirre and mother Eufemia Aguirre of Stanton Tx, her spouse Richard Morris Scott of Midland, Tx., and stepson Michael Scott of Midland, Tx. Juanita met the love of her life Pedro in Stanton, Texas. Their 40 years of marriage were filled with love, laughter and countless cherished memories with each other and their children. Juanita worked at Stanton ISD for many years and retired in 2000. She took pride in her work and formed lasting bonds with her coworkers and students. Juanita was a warm-hearted and caring individual who touched the lives of many. She will forever be remembered for her smile and kindness to everyone she met. She was a devoted grandmother who cherished spending time with her grandchildren. Their presence brought an unmistakable sparkle to Juanita’s eyes. She treasured every moment shared with them. The memories of these precious times will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
Juanita is preceded in death by her husband Pedro Avalos Sr., son Joe Luis Avalos, daughters, Jesusa Valenzuela, Linda Salcedo, Margie Dominguez, Janie Martinez, granddaughter Cynthia Martinez, parents Trinidad and Petra Rubio Sr, brothers Frank Rubio, Trinidad Rubio Jr., sisters Amelia Rubio and Emilia Olguin.

He worked as an electronics tech, carpenter, plumber, and electrician. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. Paul was always up for a BBQ and spending time with friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne Alberts Box, and mother, Vera Jean Box. He is survived by his father, Tommy Wayne Box Sr., brothers Tommy Wayne Box Jr., Nolan Duaine Box, Danny Joe Box, and sisters Jerri Box Finley, and Amanda Box Cervantez.

Lance was raised in the cotton fields of his family’s farm in Martin County Texas. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Stanton. He attended school in Stanton and graduated from Stanton High School in 1996, where he excelled in FFA, academics and athletics. As a three-year varsity starter for the Buffaloes Football team. Lance played center and defensive end and earned all District Honors, as well as All Crossroads, All South Plains and All State Honorable Mention. After High School, he attended Midland College, University of Texas and UTPB, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for XTO and Endeavor Energy and later returned to the family farm where he worked the cotton fields with his dad and his beloved Jack Russell Terrier Sarge. Lance was kind and generous to his fellowman and will be remembered for his respect and acceptance of everyone he met in this life. Lance is survived by his dad, Michael Payne of Stanton; his mom JoAnn Klinkhammer and husband Randy of Kerrville; his brother Rory Payne of McKinney, TX; nephews Levi, Cohen Payne, and many aunts and uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his brother John Dawson Springer, his maternal grandparents Hoot and Colleen Leonard, his paternal grandparents Darrell and Ruby Payne
Serving as pallbearers will be Rory Payne, Jake Reid, Jeremy Louder, Kenny Stewart, Nick Hull and Jeremy Bedingfield. Honorary pallbearers will be his cousins.
