He was a very kind-hearted, fun-loving individual that everyone knew and loved, especially in his family and community.
In addition to his sister, Harry will be dearly missed by his loving and caring daughter, Meliakia E. McPherson, his sons, Corneilus T. McPherson (Sandra) and Jaden Anderson; four grandchildren, Malik, Mya, CJ and Justin; the mother of his children Mary D. McPherson and his nephew Philip Austin Thomas (Deneshia) and other relatives and friends.

Willie was born to the late Davis Lee McLeod Sr. and Agnes McLeod on July 6, 1950, in Lee County, SC. At an early age Willie developed a relationship with the Lord and joined Barnettsville Baptist Church where he attended for many years. Willie was educated in the Lee County public school system and received his South Carolina GED. After completing school, Willie, made his career as a long-term textiles & industrial manufacturer employed at varies companies including Reeves Brothers, Burlington Manufacturing and Yutaka Technologies throughout his life.
Willie was a lover of life and was a joy to the many people he met throughout his life. Willie loved sports, especially his Washington Commanders Football team, listening to music, dressing "sharply", traveling and spending time with his loved ones. Willie had a deep love for his family and enjoyed spending time with the ones closest to him, including having daily calls with his siblings.
The memory of his life is cherished by his wife, Lillie Mae; his god-children Sharonne (Robin) Simon of Rock Hill, SC, Lakisha McLeod of Sumter, SC, Trenise (James) Stukes of Spartanburg, SC and Marlo (Lauren) Simon of East Hampton, CT; one brother Ernest(Mary)Wilson of New Jersey; one sister Eva Mae McLeod of Sumter, SC; five Sisters-in-laws , Carrie Simon-McLeod of Saginaw, MI , Shirley McLeod, Diann (James) Simon both of Bishopville, SC, Jeraldine (Arthur) Moses of Lugoff, SC, and Cynthia (Charles) Morrison of Bowie, MD; four brothers-in-law, Eugene Dixon of Bishopville, SC, John Edward (Ava) Stevens of Bowie, MD , Leroy (Leah) James of Patterson, NJ and Charles Wells of Columbia, SC; two aunts Eliza Jane Fortune of Lamar ,SC and Evelyn Byrd of New Jersey, host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends all whom he loved dearly.
