Obituary Preview: This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Victoria Lynn Anderson (Jensen). We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our sweet mother, Victoria Lynn Anderson (Jensen), who left our weary world on June 28, 2022 at 5:11 am, just a few weeks shy of her 67th birthday. She chose, of course, another auspicious day to make her heavenly entrance. June 28 is the date of her dear parents' wedding anniversary.Vicki was born July 14, 1955 in Burbank, California. She was the fourth child and second daughter to be born to parents Richard Dwain Anderson and Marjorie Ann Rotz. Three more sisters would complete this generation of the Anderson Family. Her close friendship with her sisters Donna and Margaret would earn them the nickname "The Power of Three." Their presence always guaranteed a load of love and laughter. Vicki is survived by her three beautiful children, Adam, Kimberly, and Nicholas, along with their spouses and children. Her absence is mourned by her more than thirty nieces and nephews, even more great-nieces and nephews, her husband and step-daughter, and countless friends. She was surrounded by many of her loved ones when she lost her 8-month battle with aggressive metastatic breast cancer. Our sweet mother had a great love for reading and a thirst for knowledge. She was one who could find humor in anything, even in her most troubled times. She learned early that she could lift herself by lifting others. When she was first diagnosed, she would insist on wearing silly hats to all her chemotherapy appointments, hoping to bring a smile to the other patients. She often gave to those in need, even if it meant leaving herself with nothing. She was a fierce mother and a loyal friend. Her gracious example will be sorely missed. It was never Vicki's intention to be mourned. She would not wish for us to weep, but to remember the happiness she shared with us throughout her life. As we joyfully reminisce about her life, we know our beautiful swan is rejoicing, too. Vicki's Celebration of Life will take on Saturday, August 20th, at 12:00pm. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 7526 Alder Avenue Fontana, CA 92336In lieu of sending flowers, please consider donating to your favorite charity or to someone in need. Thank you everyone for all your love and support!"So I'll sing Hallelujah! You were an angel in the shape of my mom. When I fell down you'd be here holding me up. Spread your wings as you go, and when God took you back, he said 'Hallelujah, you're home." - Ed Sheeran "Supermarket Flowers"

Robert Stiles - January 14, 1923 - May 01, 2022

Departed: 05/01/2022 (Everett)
Obituary Preview: Robert "Bob" Stiles (1923 - 2022)Robert "Bob" George Stiles was born the third of six children to Lee Ray Stiles and Mary Jane Smyrl in Cushing, Oklahoma on January 14, 1923. He passed away at home, on May 1, 2022, due to respiratory failure due to recurrent pneumonia, at the age of 99. Born and raised on a historic working dairy farm in the heart of Oklahoma, Bob learned at a young age the value of hard work, dedication to family, and ingenuity in the challenging years surrounding the Great Depression. Although he knew he did not want to work the farms as he grew to adulthood, he always had a great reverence for the hard work and dedication that farmers and their families endured to provide for the needs of others. Bob was drafted into the Navy on June 30, 1942, and proceeded to his naval training in Farragut, ID, Company 454. Bob was stationed on Majuro Island in the South Pacific installing the newly improved Norden gun sights on the U.S. Navy fleet that had stopped there during WWII. Bob met Esther O. Walker on a blind date in early 1944 and they married on June 24, 1944, in Jacksonville, Florida. The couple lived near where Bob was stationed with the Navy at the time. They were married 63 years until Esther's death in 2008. They had two children: Sheila and Robert Lynn "Bob" Stiles. Family was everything. Bob and Esther traveled extensively throughout the United States with their children - stopping at nearly every relative's home, National Monument, National Park, statue, or intriguing geological feature along the way. An avid amateur photographer, he kept detailed documentation of their journeys as a family. Bob and Esther worked incredibly well together on every project, and she was extremely patient and supportive of his dreams and wild ideas. Bob and Esther initially raised their family in Oklahoma and Kansas, eventually moving to Huntsville, AL, where Bob worked as an Engineer at Boeing on the Saturn V rocket. Bob's employment with Boeing would soon move them to Washington State in 1969. The couple settled in Marysville, WA, where they would spend their last 39 years together. Between Alabama and Washington, Bob spent a total of 37 years with the Boeing Company. In 2010, Bob met Beth Ullom Butler, and the two were married on August 28th. Beth has been an incredible and doting companion to him for nearly 12 years. They were able to take several trips, work on several projects, laugh and love as they took care of one another - enjoying the remainder of their years together at their home in Marysville, WA. Bob had a love of working - of honing his skills and learning new ones. He was a great example to his children and grandchildren of hard work, determination, and seeing even the most difficult of situations through. He loved building things; including homes, shops and other buildings, and spending time outdoors; gardening, camping, target shooting, hunting, fishing and had a special love of sailing. Building his first sailboat by hand in the mid-1950s and having had several boats since that time; he loved the freedom of being on the water - and loved to share that experience with family and friends. Bob had a great witty sense of humor and fantastic smile. He worked tirelessly. He served his family and friends. He loved fearlessly. He gave his all to everything he came up against in this life. In addition, Bob was a proud member of the Shriners International Society. He was also a life-long (and the oldest) member of the Marysville Rifle Club, where he leaves behind many friends. He had great pride in his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren - their drive for learning and achieving success in all their lives and careers. Bob enjoyed being a part of it all. Unflappable, Konrad bravely deployed to Iraq thereafter and never questioned his duty to his country. He proudly served four years. He was willing to pay the ultimate sacrifice. After leaving active service, Konrad continued in the National Guard obtaining the rank of Captain. In his civilian career, he worked diligently as a rating specialist for the Department of Veterans Affairs, delivering crucial benefits to his fellow Veterans.Konrad's greatest happiness came from being a father. He beamed with such a pride in the presence of his beloved boys.Konrad found his soulmate when he met his wife, Laura. Their love was magical and palpable to everyone blessed to witness it. His life was filled with an abundance of love that will last lifetimes.Always a jokester, Konrad loved a good laugh. He found simple, earnest pleasure barbequing with his dad and camping with Laura and his boys. You could often find him driving his big truck and jamming out to Metallica. He loved watching his Raiders and was the Mariner's biggest fan. When Konrad was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer in late 2021, he never wavered from his authentic self. His gratitude and positivity persisted. A warrior to his core, he showed true valor throughout his illness. He died peacefully on April 21, 2022. Konrad will live on in the hearts of his cherished wife Laura, his two beautiful boys Konrad Jr. and Damian, his parents Michael and Gudrun, his sister Samantha and her husband Seth, his brother Andrew and his wife Nicole. His adoring aunts and uncles Doris, Greg, Gloria, Fred, Ray, Alvina, his precious nephews and nieces and many friends will forever carry his joyful spirit. To celebrate Konrad, consider grabbing a couple tickets to the next M's game and having a hot dog and beer in his honor. Or pack some camping gear and get yourself into the great outdoors with your loved ones. These are the places you may find him now. With heavy hearts, we will bid Konrad farewell. Konrad's final resting place will be the Marshland Cemetery in Snohomish Washington. All who loved him are welcome to join as we commemorate a truly magnificent life.

Richard Nelson - June 22, 1933 - March 07, 2022

Departed: 03/07/2022 (Everett)
Obituary Preview: Born on June 22, 1933, to parents Soren and Josephine in Moorehead, Minnesota, and raised on the Nelson family dairy farm in the San Fernando Valley, CA., with three siblings: sister, Joanne, twin brother, Roger, and brother Stephen. Richard graduated from North Hollywood High School, followed by course studies at Valley College. He then chose to serve his country by enlisting in the ARMY and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal upon his discharge.Richard's high-spirited entrepreneurial disposition enabled him to live a life many others have only dreamt. The life skills acquired and embedded upon him in his younger years led to the amazing man he became; he was The Greatest of All Time. From his early innovative idea and profitable execution of creating several drive-through Milk Stores in multiple counties in Washington, later becoming a top representative for New York Life, then delving into Real Estate through the development of The Birch Bay Leisure Park in the 1970s; Richard was a successful serial entrepreneur. We certainly recall that the Leisure Park development was published in the book "Sights Over Washington State," as Richard frequently reminded us.Richard's business acumen ultimately led him to create Executive Real Estate Inc., a firm at its peak that boasted over 300 professional Commercial and Residential Associates under his leadership. He always emphasized a corporate culture of customer service excellence. During this time, Richard met his wife, San Juanita Guerrero-Nelson, with whom he would celebrate 28 years of marriage. With Executive Real Estate Inc. at its peak, Richard chose to retire, and the Nelsons relocated to southern California to celebrate his accomplishments. Retirement was more like a hiatus as his passion was always the art of the deal. Rekindling his Real Estate development skills, Richard anticipated an opportunity for new residential developments in the suburbs of L.A. He formulated new professional contacts, most notably, the residential home builder Brookfield Homes. These new endeavors culminated in his leadership of the land acquisition of 200 plus acres for the future development of 300-500 homes in Santa Clarita, CA. This remarkable accomplishment solidified his legacy as a top professional in the Real Estate business. As time passed, vicissitudes and family led the Nelsons back to Washington state in 2010. Richard had been called upon again to be an advisor for a Real Estate development in Birch Bay, The Tides. He then proved to be a valuable resource and undeniable pillar of support. After four years of the site being underway, a new adventure presented itself. Richard was brought on as a co-manager and tasked with upgrading two derelict apartment buildings: a 55-Unit complex in Everett and a 24-unit complex in Lakewood. The results were impeccable; both complexes were upgraded orders of magnitude in aesthetics and community. Richard was always polished and dapper. He loved sitting out in the sun during warm weather. His daily routine started with lifting weights every morning before work, keeping him very fit and athletic. An avid reader of the Wall Street Journal, he was always abreast of current markets. And when it came to the Real Estate business, he was always available to advise. He would refer to himself as "The Dane," and his sparkling blue eyes, contagious smile, quick-witted sarcasm, and laughter made everyone around him a close friend. Richard had a propensity for good luck. He enjoyed going to the horse races, occasionally playing the slots, and frequently came home with an uncontrollable grin when luck prevailed. Yet, those closest to him will always remark that he had a kind soul and his attention was guided by the urge to help others enjoy better lives. He celebrated all special occasions and family gatherings. The entire family always looked forward to seeing 'Tio Richie' at every occasion. Recognizing his wife San Juanita's passion for the church, in 2014, Richard made the commitment to start his conversion to the Catholic faith. Richard & San Juanita's marriage was once again celebrated and blessed on February 14, 2020 at St. Mary Magdalen Parish. Richard was blessed to have truly great friends; relationships he established in junior high remained with no lapse in communication for his entire life. A sage to all those fortunate enough to cross his path, he touched many hearts and influenced the minds of several generations. His family and friends will deeply miss his presence. He is survived by his wife, San Juanita; sister, Joanne; brother Stephen; children, Lesley, Karl, Lois, Keith, Andrea, and Duane; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins, and a great granddaughter.Preceded in death by twin brother Roger and son Brett. Services will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Parish on Friday, April 1st 2022. Rosary is at 10:30am, and the Mass begins at 11am. It is how I plan to use you in eternity. I am preparing you on earth for what is yet to come, and what you are yet to receive. Do you remember my parable of the talents? (Matthew 25-14-30). Some of my sons were not good stewards of what I entrusted to them. I entrusted hardship to you. You have overcome through me. You have been faithful in a place where many have lost heart. Keep trusting. The end SHALL BE greater than the former. You must believe this. Do you remember when I spoke that to you through one of my daughters? It really is true, you know. Your affliction is but for a moment, and it is working in you an eternal weight of glory."For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen.
