Obituary Preview: Maria Lucia Rabe, also known as Marilù. She was a caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and a loyal friend.
She left this world fighting with courage but in peace on the first hour of February 6, 2022.
The meaning of her name defined exactly what she came to this world for...To shine and give light to all that needed it. She was born to Miguel and Nancy Gomez on January 11, 1947, in Baradero, la ciudad del encuentro (meeting city)
She decided to stop her 3- year studies in Medicine when she met and married her widowed husband  Arthur Rabe with three children, Hernan, Federico, and Christian, that needed a full-time mom. She later had two more kids, Ignacio and Julieta, to form a great a great loving family with ten grandchildren, Camila, Gaston, Florencia, Sophia, Tiziano, Valentina, Santiago, Olivia, Lucas, y Julian.
Marilù loved plants, especially the impatiens. She loved playing cards with her grandkids, knitting sweaters for her kids and grandkids, and making her so famous homemade flan and tartas for family gatherings.
She loved with passion and had always helping hands for the ones in need.
She will always be remembered for her beauty, elegance, smile, and her so positive attitude and mood even in difficult times.
She will be highly missed. She came to this world with a mission, and she accomplished it very well.
We selfishly wanted her to be with us forever, and although her light will always stay with us, angels always go back to heaven.
She decided to be cremated and have her ashes to be spread out in a garden full of flowers and plants. ❤️❤️❤️ -- Julieta Di Carlo
