Bob enjoyed spending time and making memories with his family and friends, and also enjoyed golfing, bowling, casino trips, and Facebook scrolling.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia (Harbaugh) Kruse, whom he married December 3, 1960 in Springville; children: Amy (Mark) Smith of Clover, SC, and Steven Kruse of Springville; brothers: Gerald (Marjorie) Kruse of FL, and Dale (Donna) Kruse of Delevan; Brother-in-law, Ray Wilhelm of CA; grandchildren: Jeffrey (Amy) Smith, Amber (Bobby) Mims, Rebecca (Adam) Rhinehardt, Matthew (Kelsy) Smith, James (Kristen) Kruse, and Michael (Becca) Kruse; great-grandchildren: Brooklyn Mims, Lucas Smith, Paisley Mims, Macie Rhinehardt, and Maddie Rhinehardt; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his siblings: Marian (late Lee) Sturzenbecher, Paul (late Gloria) Kruse, Agnes (late Neil) Fleckenstein, Ellen Wilhelm, and Richard "Dick" Kruse.

She was born February 10, 1941 in Springville, a daughter of the late Ray and Bessie (Quinlan) Harbaugh. She worked on their family farm, Hess Farms LLC. in West Valley, and was also a full-time and substitute Teacher for West Vally Central. In addition, she was a 4-H leader, Grange Master of Ashford, a Councilwomen for the Town of Ashford, and a member of St. John the Baptist RC Church in West Valley. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, riding horses in her youth, canning, and reading western novels.
She is survived by her children: Tim Hess of West Valley, Dwight (Kristen) Hess of Attica, and Susan Hess of West Seneca; sister, Virginia (Robert) Kruse of Springville; grandchildren: Rebekah, Raymond, and Ruth; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Albert Hess, whom she married August 15, 1970. He passed away July 26, 2003. She is also predeceased by her Aunt, Jessie Quinlan.
There will be no prior visitation. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 11AM at St. John the Baptist RC Church in West Valley with Father George Devanapalle officiating. Final interment will take place in Maplewood Cemetery in Springville.

She was born March 20, 1932 in East Otto, a daughter of the late Emil Sr. and Emma (Hein) Glow. She was a Store Clerk for 25 years at the Springville Hardware store, and was also a Eucharistic Minister and member of St. Aloysius Church in Springville. In some of her free time, she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Gregory Underberg of Avon, CT, Julie (Barry) Edwards of Springville, and Karen McCarthy of Springville; daughter in law: Deborah Minich-Underberg of Saratoga Springs, NY; grandchildren: Scott (Megan) Edwards, Stephanie (Michael Jr.) Connors, and Liam and Emma McCarthy; as well as eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Joseph Underberg, whom she married October 1, 1955 in Orchard Park. He passed away in November, 2003. She is also predeceased by her brother, Emil Glow Jr.
There will be no prior visitation. A Memorial Mass will be announced at a later date with final interment to take place in St. Aloysius Cemetery in Springville.

He was born May 9, 1955 in Sosua, Dominican Republic to the late Moses Pupko and Marianne C. Schuler-Pupko, refugees from Nazi, Germany.
The family emigrated to the US when Michael was still an infant, settling in Remsen, NY to be close to family friends, the Landecker's. The family ran a dairy farm in Boonville, NY, where Michael and his sister, Eleanor, managed and milked cows until the early 90's during which Michael was an active N.F.O member. After the cows were sold, he started a career of ski instructing in Telluride, CO; specializing in foot balance and eventually patented a device to enable individuals to maintain better balance to ensure optimal skiing. He also worked as a jeweler, developing his own unique creations. In 1997, he and his wife welcomed their daughter into the world. Living in Colden, NY since 1999, Michael was a devoted father, avid gardener, skier, friend of the neighborhood, and Christian Scientist.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Lankenau; daughter, Julia Pupko of East Granville, VT; sister, Eleanor Pupko of Rhinebeck, NY; brother-in-law, Jim Newhouse of Hawaii; niece and nephew: Damian Wisniewski of San Francisco, CA, and Elena Newhouse of Hawaii.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Irene Newhouse.

He was also considered a jack-of-all-trades; enjoyed tinkering with different projects and was a hard worker all his life. He also enjoyed his tractors & equipment, riding his motorcycle, and attending Riceville Community Church.
He was husband to Janet (Nason) Learn, whom he married June 28, 1969; father to Dawn (Christopher) Crowell of Novelty, OH; brother to Beverly (late Glynn) Gattis of Hoover, AL; extended family brother to: Carol Buie, Gina Hubbard, Valerie Layman, Connie (Dan) Learn, Gary Layman, and Kevin Layman; Pop Pop to his grandchildren: Norah and Jackson; uncle to several nieces and nephews; and also survived by several cousins.
There will be no prior visitation. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

He was born September 28, 1926 in Penn Yan, NY to the late George and Helen Decker. George graduated from Penn Yan Academy in 1944 and then immediately joined the US Army and was a WWII Veteran that served from 1944-1946. He then married his late wife of 71 years, Betsy (Ross) Decker in 1947. He graduated with his Masters Degree at Ithaca College in 1951, where he also played on their Varsity football team for three years.
He was a teacher at Springville-Griffith Institute for 34 years, as well as a Coach and Athletic Director. He was also a past President for the Springville Lion's Club, and was awarded the Melvin Jones Award with over 50 years of membership. In addition he was the past Springville Town Justice for 24 years, and attended the St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Springville. He enjoyed golfing and was an honorary member of the Springville Golf Club.
He is survived by his children: Terry (Carol) Decker of Hilton, NY, and Tim (Eileen) Decker of Hamlin, NY; grandchildren: Chris (Heather), Kate, Andrew (Laura), and Julie Decker; great-grandchildren: Derek, Addy, Mylinda, Lincoln, and Logan Decker.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is predeceased by his daughter, Kimberly Decker.

In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his wife Debra and their grandchildren, nieces and nephews, listening to music, and NASCAR. He was known for being a loving, giving, kind, and hard working man. He was a strong patriot, and gave to many organizations out of the kindness of his heart, including St. Jude's and Veteran’s organizations.
He is survived by his wife, Debra (Tucker) Little, whom he married August 11, 2000. He is also survived by his children: Steven (Kimberly) Compeau of N. Tonawanda, and Kristi (Daniel) Solari of Delevan; siblings: Jack (Liz) Little of Salamanca, Nina (Bob) Mowell of Wilson, NY, Don (Judi) Little of Clarkdale, AZ, and Laurie (Art) Fromm of Mars, PA; daughter-in-law, Erica Masich of N. Tonawanda; sister-in-law, Joni Little of Tonawanda; grandchildren: Jasmin, Erica, Kayla, Courtney, Steven, and Levon; nieces and nephews: Jaclyn, Janelle, Jace, Shawn, Cody, Kristen, Melissa, Nicole, and Peter; great-nieces and nephews: Abby, Scarlet, Thayer, Aria, Noah, and Jonah; as well as close family friend, Debby Schmidt. He is survived by his father, Jason (Diane) Biscup of Springville; sisters, Arianne Biscup-Johnson of Springville and Dianne (Brian) Doshier of Aldie, VA; nieces, Allegra and Briar Rose Johnson of Springville; grandmothers, Dolores Biscup of Springville and Sylvia Wotherspoon of Kenmore; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Kind, genuine, and loyal, David will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Pauline M. Hebdon, of Springville passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024 following a brief illness at the age of 55.
Born November 1, 1968 in Buffalo, she was a daughter of the late James “Bear” and Ellen (Warner) Woolston. A hard worker all her life, Pauline was a talented welder with a strong work ethic. On February 14, 2007 she married Jamie A. Hebdon. Pauline co-owned and operated PJ Welding Co. together with her husband Jamie, manufacturing and installing industrial kitchen hoods. Pauline enjoyed her yearly vacations to Wasaga Beach, Canada with her “Sugar Plum”, Jamie. She took great care of those she loved, especially her grandchildren, who she loved “to the moon and back”. She took great pride in taking care of her home and property in Ashford, which she and Jamie built together. Pauline and Jamie graciously hosted many large family reunions and parties over the years. She enjoyed decorating for the holidays, listening to music, especially Patsy Cline, and loved her cats, Frankie and Evil Peaches and her dog, Weezy.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jamie Hebdon of Ashford; her son, Durwin “DJ” (Christina) Stanbro of Arcade; stepchildren, Christa (Brian) George of Arcade, Jillian (Ryan) Livingston of Humbolt, TN and Trevor (Olivia) Hebdon of Arcade; grandchildren, Oliver and Thomas Stanbro, Derek and Drew George, Jax Livingston, Daisy and Lina Hebdon; siblings, Mark, Jimmy, Billy, Kim Woolston and Rebecca (Jason) Marsh; and many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.

Obituary Preview: In loving remembrance of Barbara Diane Hebden, 91, of Springville, NY. Barbara was an adored wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She passed away on March 30, 2024 at Bertrand Chaffee Hospital in Springville.
Barbara, daughter of Alethea Ahrens Cowan & stepfather Francis M. Cowan was born in Franklinville, NY in November 1932. She married Robert Hebden in 1952 and together they raised four children. She was employed at Winfield H. Smith Company directly after graduating from Griffith Institute in 1950, and later was employed by the NY Telephone Company in Springville. Barbara also helped Robert (Bob) in his classroom at Springville-Griffith Institute for many years. Barbara’s interests included genealogy (researching family history and creating family trees) as well as running and attending races with Bob. In their later years, they could often be seen out running or walking around Springville together until Bob’s passing in December 2017.
Barbara is survived by children - Orpha (Charlie), Jon (Carol), Brian (Julie) and Eric (Ruth); and her many grandchildren, great grandchildren; sisters; extended family; and friends who will hold her in their hearts forever. He was also a past Town of Concord Supervisor and past Village Trustee, Mayor, and Judge.
He was a Teacher and football coach at West Seneca High School.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta "Becky" (Glair) Regan, whom he married on August 14, 1965; his children: Daniele Regan of Springville, Charles (Lynette) Regan, III of Rochester and Joseph Regan of Springville; his sister, Joyce (late Timothy) McCarthy of Hamburg as well as his grandchildren: Elise, Kate, and Noah Regan. He is also survived by his dog and best friend, Divot as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Ann (James) Rath.
There will be no prior visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family with final interment to be held in Maplewood Cemetery in Springville.

Obituary Preview: Jean E. Moncreiff, born Jean Elizabeth Stamman on January 3rd of 1936 (Pontiac, MI), was the daughter of the late Arnold and Leone Stamman and the older sister of the late Roy Stamman. She departed this earthly life on March 29, 2024, at the age of 88.
She is survived by her three children: Cyndi Moncreiff of Ocean Springs, MS; Steve Moncreiff of Navarre, FL (daughter Chelsea and son-in-law Joshua Ardonne); and Pam Shaffer of Chesterfield, VA (husband Bob; son Nicholas and daughter-in-law Whitney; daughter Kimberly and son-in-law Matthew McClure and grandchildren: Kaylee, Madelyn, Nathaniel and Bonnie; and son Matthew and daughter-in-law Megan and grandchildren: Theodore and Cooper) and extended family.
After arriving in Springville, NY nearly 59 years ago, Jean dedicated her time to raising her three children and volunteering in the community. She “paid it forward” by serving at the First Presbyterian Church (Board of Deacons, Worship Committee, Communion and Memorial Luncheons Committees and being a Friday Fried-Cakes Lady), Springville Youth Inc. (Secretary and President), Springville Elementary PTA (President), 20th Century Club (Secretary and President), Food Pantry Coordinator, School Tax Collector, Bertrand Chaffee Hospital Board of Directors, Elections Inspector for Village of Springville and Town of Concord, American Red Cross volunteer, Meals On Wheels volunteer, Village of Springville Trustee and Village of Springville Deputy Mayor with the duties of serving as Village Disaster Coordinator and Code Enforcement & Building Inspector Liaison.
Jean enjoyed years of camping and was a member of the National Campers & Hikers Association. Many a summer weekend was spent at Sherkston in Ontario, Canada camping and sailing. Spring vacations were filled with touring the Southern states along the both the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts. And, the family took yearly trips to Harrison, Michigan to visit with extended family.
Jean’s children would like to express their gratitude for the assistance and wonderful care provided to her by the staff at Jennie B. Nursing Home.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate Jean’s life. Those wishing to commemorate her life can do so by donating to FeedMore of Western NY, the American Red Cross or the Bertrand Chaffee Hospital Foundation, as Jean devoted time serving in these worthy organizations.

Chuck was very involved with the community over the years; was an FFA Adviser & many Empire and American degree farmers, Chairman of the Catt. Co. Planning Board, member of the Farmland Protection Board and the Southern Tier West board, President of the West Valley Chamber of Commerce, member/trustee & finance Chair for St. Paul's United Methodist Church in West Valley, former Catt Co. Legislative, former President/board member of the Catt. Co. Farm Bureau, President of the State Ag. Teachers Association, Councilman for the Town of Ashford, and Catt. Co. 4H & cooperative extension. He also got his B.S. in Soil Science from Michigan University and did graduate work at Cornell University. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking, working around his greenhouse, collecting model trains and other collectables, attending farm markets, and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Merle) Couture, whom he married June 19, 1965 at the Attica Zion EUB. He is also survived by his children: Curt (Renee) Couture of Oneida, NY, Brian (Grace) Couture of Colchester, CT, and Stacy (Steven) Taylor of Panama, NY; siblings: Carolyn Farrell of Brockport, NY, Catherine "Kitty" Biven of Rochester, and James (Ann) Couture of Durham, NC; as well as eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents.

He was also a US Army Korean War Veteran, serving from 1949-1952. Additionally, he was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in West Valley.
He is survived by his son, George A. (Connie Jo) Kazmierczak Jr. of West Valley; sisters: Anna (late Teddy) Pietraszak of Amherst, and Theresa Wojner of Buffalo; granddaughter, Emily Kazmierczak; son-in-law, David Ahles of West Valley; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Joan (Krafta) Kazmierczak, whom he married January 11, 1953 in Buffalo. She passed away November 29, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Swain) Wells, whom he married in 1957 at the Springville United Methodist Church. He is also survived by his daughter, Wendy (Mark) Waldorf of Hamburg; siblings: Helen (John) Steel of FL, Donald (Katherine) Wells of Springville, and William (late Brenda) Wells of Springville; brother-in-laws: William Heary, Leonard Feldman, and Jerald King; grandchildren: Brooke Johnson, Courtney Kowalski, and Ashley Waldorf; great-grandchildren: Brynn, Rowan, and Wells Kowalski; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his daughter, Leanne Archer; siblings: Richard (late Martha) Wells, George (late Jean) Wells, Marian (late Lee) Burke, Esther (late John) Lipoff, Lillian Heary, Janette Farner, Marsha Feldman, and Susan King.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her son, Tyler Twichell, and sister, Gerry Kay Brunton.
Terry attended Marshal University in Huntington, WV. She worked for CILCO (California Intraocular Lens Co.) in Huntington, WV, as well as Campbell's Soup Co. in Maxton, NC, and various part-time positions in Buffalo, NY.
Terry loved animals and had an array of pets, including: dogs, cats, birds, and a rabbit. With her love of animals, she dedicated some of her time volunteering at the Humane Society of Erie County. She was also an avid gardener, enjoyed needlepoint, painting and other artistic endeavors. Terry enjoyed trips to the Adirondacks and Mexico, NY, and also loved cooking meals and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of 38 years, Eric Twichell of Glenwood, NY, whom she married in May, 1985; siblings: Sherry (John) Kyle of Barboursville, WV, Cheryl (Scott) Shuff of Proctorville, OH, Trish (Tom) Trent of Crown City, OH, Donna (Chris) Surber of South Point, OH, and Richard (Sherry) Brunton II of Huntington, WV; as well as many nieces and nephews.
