His Children, Mitchell Don McGhee of OK City, OK: Megan and Brandon Dednose of OK City, OK and Martina McGhee of Alma, AR. Several grandchildren whom he loved dearly. His siblings, Diana Berard of Van Buren, AR , Roger Gilliam of Charleston, AR; Darrell and Pat Gilliam of Sand Springs, OK and Debra and Mike Smith of Bristow, OK. As well as many nieces and nephews and friends. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing karaoke. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle on sunny days when he was able. He loved family gatherings. He also loved watching a certain Soap Opera with his Mom daily. He will be truly missed. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday September 13, 2021 at Cemetery Ridge Cemetery in Ozark, AR, under the direction of Smith Mortuary 22 North Greenwood, Charleston, AR.

Jimmy married Ruth Ganzer on February 18, 1963 who survives him along with sons, James Cearley and wife Bouana, John Cearley and wife Deborah; daughter, Glenda Cearley Harrington and husband Rick all of Charleston; grandchildren, Malina Cearley, Monika Cearley-Miller and Thomas of Fort Smith, Nolan Harrington, Hollyn Harrington, Easton Harrington and honorary grandchildren; Rebel and Radley Ervin; brothers, Donald Cearley and Sam Cearley; sister, Debbie Cearley Posey all of Mena, Arkansas along with many nieces and nephews. Preceding in his death was his parents and brother, Larry Cearley of Mena, Arkansas.
Jim served 24 years in the U.S. Army-serving two tours in Vietnam, 0ne Korea and four tours in Germany accompanied by his wife and family whenever was possible. He was also stationed at Ft. Chaffee, Arkansas, Ft. Rucker ALA, Fort Ord, CA, Ft Bliss, TX. Ft Hood, TX and Ft Carson, CO. Jim was also a retired employee of Williams Tool. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Smith Mortuary, Charleston, Arkansas with interment with full military honors at Garden of Memories Cemetery. One of her greatest joys was crocheting blankets to give away, she truly had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone.  She was an avid Razorback fan and loved to play or watch women’s softball. Paula was loved by all her classmates and friends. Survivors include her husband Eugene; two daughters, Chelsea Becker and husband Ronny and Jordyn Edwards and husband Andrew; sister, Pam Jenkins; one grandchild, Wyatt Becker; one uncle, Joe Kenady; several nieces, nephews, brother and sister in laws. Family will receive friends Monday 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church 1205 East Main, Charleston, Arkansas.  Pallbearers will be Mike Cox, Spencer Cox, Greg Vernon, Stoney Thomas, Phillip Savage and Danny Robbins. In her spare time she enjoyed just relaxing with her beloved "Bam Bam" or somehow spoiling one of the grand kids. Diane was loved by many and will be greatly missed by her loved ones. In her younger days she often played pool or even softball to pass the time. She was a CNA and also managed a cafe at one time during her lifetime. No matter who you were, Diane would always help someone in need, and at times she would even come up with a funny poem to make everyone laugh. She is greatly loved and will be forever in our hearts.
