She was born October 9, 1942 in Geneva NY to the late Harry and Dorothy (Clark) Harvey. Karen is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 53 years, Carl Marsden and two children; Pamela Marsden-Sebastiao (David) of Old Lyme and Andrew Marsden (Melissa) Old Lyme along with four grandchildren who she adored; Chelsea Evankow, Tyler Sebastiao, Gabby Sebastiao and Jaxon Marsden. Karen is also survived by one great granddaughter, Liana Sebastiao and a sister, Sandra Lane of Tulsa, OK.
Karen married her husband Carl in 1967 in New Rochelle NY. After moving to Connecticut she took on many jobs in the town, following her children through the school system as Crossing Guard, Lunch Aide and then took the role of secretary to the principal at The Morgan High School. She held that position until running for Town Clerk in Clinton. She won that vote and held that position for 27 years and retired in 2014. Karen loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great granddaughter. Karen was a loving person who always thought of others before herself. She adored her hummingbirds and looked forward to their return each year. If you met Karen, you knew her love, her passion and her smile. She graduated Geneva High School and accomplished graduate of Clark Business School in Rochester NY

Eva is survived by her loving son, Edward Forte (Shirley) of East Haven, two granddaughters, Renee Dominguez (Manny) and Melinda Forte along with three great grandchildren, Jaelyn Johnson, Gianna Dominguez and Gabriella Dominguez. She is also survived by two god daughters, Marylynn Dickey and Laurie Horner. A special thanks to Ralph and Josephine Vuolo for their kindness.
Eva is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Andrew Forte, three sisters, Josephine Kohler, Frances Atnes, Mary Anderson and three brothers, Victor, Vincent and John Mitchell, a godchild, Jean Mitchell Tiskus.
Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a graveside service on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. in All Saints Cemetery, 700 Middletown Ave., North Haven (Please meet at the office). Donation may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
