He retired from the Indiana Laborers Union.
He is survived by his children, James P. (Mishi) Weikart Jr., Kevin Weikart, Christopher (Melissa) Weikart, and Abigail (Ted) Haddix.  He is survived by 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He is also survived by four brothers, Michael Weikart, Timothy (Jennifer) Weikart, Stephen (Pam) Weikart and John (Elaine) Weikart; and four sisters, Kathlyn Teegardin, Mary (David) King, Rose (Brad) Kumfer and Nancy Hill.
He was predeceased by his parents James E Weikart and Marjorie A. Weikart and one grandchild Ashley Weikart.

Jerry was born in Chicago, IL in 1932, to the parents of Frank and Gladys Dyben and joined the army to serve in the Korean War. After the war, he attended Tri-State University on the GI bill and received his BS in Electronics Engineering. He met the love of his life while in college and they married on October 26, 1957. They went on to have nine children.
Jerry was proceeded in death by his wife, Deann, his son, Terry, his grandson, Jason and an infant grandson, Jordan Heckley and an infant sister, Rita Dyben and daughter in law, Melissa Dyben.
He is survived by his siblings: brother, Jack (Fran) Dyben, sister, Mary (Dick) Gentes, brother, Richard Dyben, son, Gary (Jean) Dyben, son, Greg (Debi) Dyben, son, David Dyben, son, Scott (Sharon) Dyben, daughter, Sue (Todd) Heckley, daughter Diane (Joe) Gibson, son, Paul (Pam) Dyben, daughter, Joan Dyben and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, October 8, 2021 at Lutheran Life Villages North in Fort Wayne, IN. Born December 30, 1934 to loving parents Helen and John Steigerwald.
Carolyn was soft spoken, kind and compassionate. She loved gardening, cooking and treasured time spent with family. Over the years she was employed by Tokheim, International Harvester and retired from Zollner Credit Union.
She, along with her beloved therapy dog, Annie, members of Three Rivers Visiting Dogs, enjoyed providing comfort and joy to hospital patients and nursing home residents.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her son Kevin, parents Helen and John Steigerwald and brothers Richard and John. She is survived by her children, Carol (Steven) Brucker, Karen (Thomas) Lang, Kim (David) Bailey and Kent (Christina) Hay, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one grand goddaughter. "The family would like to thank the devoted staff of Lutheran Life Villages for their skilled, compassionate and loving care."

Mike is survived by his sisters Lana Ritter and Joy Terry and his brothers Jimmy Groll and Dennis Shroyer. He is also survived by 3 nieces, 2 nephews, 6 great- nieces and 5 great -nephews.
Mike enjoyed watching westerns, helping his neighbors, and spending time with his cousins Greg and Dick Fisher. His Uncle Ted and Aunt Kay Sutorius were like parents to him and he looked forward to their visits.
Memorials for Mike can be made to Visiting Nurses of Fort Wayne or Ave Marie Hospitality House in Fort Wayne. Dottie Campbell, from Ave Marie, has helped Mike and many others through the years. Dottie’s compassion and care has touched many lives through the years.
Cremation was handled compassionately and professionally by Siler Funeral Services. There will be no services at Mike’s request.

Charlie passed away peacefully in his home, with his loving wife Barb present, on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021.  Charlie was born on January 31, 1948, in Knoxville, TN, to Roy and Anna Ruth (Smith) Sharp.  His family relocated to Ft. Wayne when Charlie was young.  He attended high school at North Side  and began working at a young age to help support his family.  Charlie was able to hire in at Tokheim, where he retired from.
Charlie enjoyed fishing and owned a home on Big Turkey Lake from 1984 to 1998.  Throughout his life Charlie loved Chevys and was able to own quite a few of them including a beautiful ‘57 Belair that he showed for a few years at area car shows.
Surviving are his wife, Barb Herb Sharp, children Michael (Suzanne) Sharp, Brian (Esmeralda) Sharp, grandchildren, Ashley (Doug) Welty, Porcha (Josh) Ricks, Cody (Annette) Sharp, Madelyn (Ben) Wunderlich, Emily Sharp, Samuel Sharp, and Isabelle Sharp, 8 great grandchildren, brothers Jim Sharp, Dale Sharp, William Sharp, and his sister Judy.  Charlie was proceeded in death by his father, Roy Sharp, his mother, Anna Ruth Redding, stepfather, Ray Redding, and brothers, Roy Sharp Jr., and David Sharp. Funeral service is 1:00 pm at Tom Mungovan Funeral Home, 2221 S. Calhoun St., on Friday, September 17th, with viewing beginning at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery

Doris enjoyed gardening, walking, mowing, playing bingo, cards with friends and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a great cook and loved to open her home up to all. Her amazing personality and kind heart will hold a lasting impression on all she met. She was especially fond of all of her pet cats.

After retiring Steve enjoyed his summers at Steinke Resort where he had many friends. He loved to fish, tell a good story and play cards. His biggest passion was tinkering in his garage. He was a Colts football fan and loved watching racing especially NASCAR. Above all he was extremely proud of his sons and his grandchildren.
Steve is survived by his loving family. His wife Colleen (Coney), his sons and six grandchildren; Mike (Angie) McDougall of Ossian IN, Matt (Leslie) McDougall of Lakeland FL, Kevin, Dana McDougall  of Plant City FL, Austin, Kayden, Brianna, and Wyatt McDougall of Lakeland FL. Surviving are her brother Rick Jahn of Kingsford, Michigan and her four sons: Jason D. Jahn (wife Naomi), Joshua S. Avery, Ryan M. Avery (wife Cassandra), Adam M. Avery (wife Lindsey), along with 8 grandchildren.

23, of Huntington, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021, it is reported with great sadness, after a  battle with severe depression.
Alyson was born in Erie, Pa. on Nov. 25, 1997, and later moved to Florida, then Indiana. She was the daughter of Tammy L. Enders (Tim Hines). AJ has looked up to Warren Eckert, her uncle, for he has been the greatest influence she ever had. He helped her accomplish everything she needed to (those were AJ's words). AJ enjoyed riding her motorcycle, hunting, fishing, and just plain enjoying what life had to offer her. "We will forever carry your memory in our hearts."
AJ is survived by her older brother, Cameron Eckert. She so loved getting into trouble with him. They were inseparable. AJ was also survived by a very special young man, Thomas Vogleman. She was preceded in death by her older brother, Vincent; maternal grandfather, James A. Enders; paternal grandmother and grandfather, Herman "Bud" and Patricia Eckert; and Evelyn Bloxson who she was adored by and said that AJ was the daughter she never had. Dottie Riley 78, passed away at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne April 14, 2021.  She was born in Erie, PA to the late Joseph and Grace (Hecker) Opalenik.
Dottie retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. She also was the dancing matchbox for Old Gold Cigarettes on the Ted Mack Show.
She married the love of her life Larry Riley December 1, 1966.  Larry proceeded her in death October 1, 1992.
She spent her retired years being a loving and doting grandma to Grace and Kaitlynn, both of Marion.  Dottie was very proud of them and always treasured her time spent with them.
She was not only a mother to her only child, Mary Weesner  (Tim) but was her best friend as well.  She loved her son-in-law, Tim, and she will be deeply missed by him.
Dottie was an animal lover and loved spending time with her family. She is also survived by her dear sister, Alice McDonald of Erie, PA
In keeping with Dottie's wishes there will be no services.

He was preceded in death by two wives Sue (1990) and Joyce (2018). He leaves behind a brother, Robert Joseph Tutwiler, two daughters Tina Griffith and Anita Hammer, his grandchildren: Derrick, Ryan, Stephanie, Amy, and Nolan, along with five great-grandchildren. Entombment will be at Covington Memorial Gardens - St Paul’s Chapel/Mausoleum.

She received a bachelor’s degree in business and accounting from Ball State University, Muncie and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of St. Francis, Fort Wayne. She worked in the accounting department of several companies including Bell Telephone and Zimmer Biomet in Warsaw, IN and Indiana Michigan Electric in Fort Wayne. She also worked for executive recruiting firms prior to retiring. She was a member of several book clubs and was formerly on the board of directors for all for One productions.
She is survived by her brothers - Larry Ahlersmeyer (wife: Betsy) of Muncie and their two sons, Andrew (wife: Jessica) of Elkhart and Cory (wife: Sonya) of Greenfield and Scott Ahlersmeyer (wife: Lauren) and their three sons Rudolph, Charles and Harrison. She is also survived by longtime friend, Daniel Stevens. Calling will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, February 19 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 3705 S. She was full of love, the most craziest & funniest women you could’ve ever met.

She loved playing cards, doing puzzles, bird watching, but especially spending time with her adoring family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sister Marcille (Don) Karbach; daughters Donna Cooper of Fremont, Kathlyn Dickerhoff of Columbia City, Connie Klotz of Fort Wayne, and Angela (Steven) Moeller of New Haven; son Jay (Kirsten) Springer of Indianapolis; stepchildren Tom (Molly) Hook of Fremont, Sue (Ernie) Gray, Nedrey Hook and Bob (Kathy) Hook of New Haven; numerous beloved grandchildren and step grandchildren, and cherished great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ned Hook, son Jeffery Springer, granddaughter Jennifer Dickerhoff, son-in-law David Dickerhoff, brothers Paul, Carl and Ralph Bearman, stepson Michael (Diane) Hook and step great-granddaughter Cassandra Hook.

She was proceeded in death by her mother, Martha Brinkman, Father, Harvey Scoggins, Sr., Step Mother, Marie Scoggins, Step Father, George Brinkman,Brother, Harvey Scoggins, JR, and Granddaughter, Heather Dudley. She is survived by her children Troy(Karla)Lee, Tammy(Aleeona)King-Deems, Tony Lee, Scott(Amanda)Hoagland, and adopted son Corey(CJ)Kane. Sisters Iris Stinson, Delores(Jimmy)Carr,and Debbie Scoggins. Grandchildren Liz,Billy,and John Jones,Annette Hoagland,Michelle Fornell,John King,Tomi Dawn Elliott, Jess and Melody Gardner,Jessica and TJ Lee, Dustin Kimmel, Damian and Darren Polk.Several Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday Dec. 29, 2020 from 1pm to 4pm at the Tom Mungovan Funeral Home 2221 S. Calhoun St. A funeral service will immediately follow at 4pm. Pastor Stuart Mutzfeld will officiate.

66, passed away peacefully in her home, December 10th, 2020.  Born in Grove City Pennsylvania, and later relocated to Battle Creek Michigan.  She was the daughter of late Lee Pasley and Late Marjorie (Gibson) Pasley. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She met Smitty, and instantly sparks flew.  They traveled with only the clothes on their backs, Sun on their faces and little money in their pocket. While holding hands, they experienced the world in their early 20’s, sleeping outside in the cold night air in one sleeping bag looking up at stars. Riding the Ferris wheel till the sun came up. All while Never knowing when they will get an actual bed to sleep in that night. But they didn’t care, it was the 70’s. As long as they had each other it was them against the world. Marriage was set on September 11th, 1976. And settled down in Fort Wayne Indiana to start a family.
They raised three Children, and also became known as the neighborhood mom. She was also a survivor of breast Cancer twice.  They spent 38 years together before Smitty passed on June 27 2012. She enjoyed her online games, Crafting, playing cards, puzzles, watching Hallmark movies, diamond painting, doing yard work, and playing on her tablet.  She also enjoyed traveling with family, collecting frogs, and sea shells.  She had hoped that one day she would find a beach that was covered in nothing but shells. Walking through a field of daisies, blackeyes susie’s and sunflowers would have been a joy. More so Daisies as those were her favorite.
She is survived by her son, Thomas (DeAnna) Smith, and Tammy (James) Smith Farley.  Three Grandchildren, Karleena (Trentin) Smith, Kayla Smith and Joshua Smith.  Her sisters Nancy Robinson, Patricia Michaud, Susan Pasley, and Diana Jewell. Her Brother, Norman Pasley also many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her Husband Anthony ‘Smitty’ Smith, Her Son, Anthony Smith, her Mother, Marjorie Gibson Pasley, Her father Lee Pasley.

Born in Paulding, Ohio on August 14, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Guadalupe (Hernandez) Martinez. Valentina married Arturo Ybarra on April 12, 1969, they celebrated 51 years together. She was a devoted wife, mother and along with her husband, co-managed Ybarra, Inc for many years. Prior to retirement, she worked as a teaching asst. at Waynedale Elementary. Valentina had a passion for cooking, gardening, and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. She was extremely proud of her family; they were her pride and joy. She had a warm, friendly and inviting personality. Also, touching many lives with her generosity and kindness to everyone she encountered.
Valentina is survived by her love Arturo Ybarra; daughters Tracy (James) Williams, Misty (Alphonso) James, Holli Ybarra; sons, Brian (Meredith) Ybarra, Joel Ybarra, Michael (Yanet) Ybarra, Marc Ybarra; 15 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. Valentina is also survived by sisters, Lupe (Ray) Contreraz, Esther (Joe) Rangle, Phyllis Martens, Lisa (Tim) Bermejo; and brothers Nick Martinez, Raphael (Jenny) Martinez, Martin (Gloria) Martinez, Johnny Martinez.

On Sunday, November 29, 2020, Charles Albert Lutz, loving father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away at the age of 91.  He was born June 5, 1929 to Charles and Velma Lutz.  He was a graduate of West Milton High School, BGSU (undergraduate degree in Education) and Purdue University (Masters in Education).  He served in the Army during the Korean War.
He met the love of his life, Phyllis Newcomer, when he was teaching at Van Buren High School.  They were married 59 years before she preceded him in death in 2018.
They raised three fantastic children, David (Brenda) Lutz of Austin, Texas; Julie (Dan) Moore of Gulfport, Florida; Cristi Ayers (Rex Andrews) of Defiance, Ohio.  Charles had 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren whom he loved dearly. He was a member of the Paulding Presbyterian Church and loved his church family.  He is known for his love of God, his passion for music and his enthusiasm for the Purdue Boilermakers!
