Obituary Preview: Gorette Fortuna Rebelo, a long-time resident of Stoughton for 48 years, passed away at home on Sunday, April 10, 2022 surrounded by her beloved husband Abel Rebelo, cherished children Natalie Kelly and Jason Rebelo. She is predeceased by her loving son Nicholas Rebelo. She was 67 years old.
Besides her husband and children Mrs. Rebelo is survived by her sisters, Albertina Gareri and Lourdes Cabral, her brothers Rafael Fortuna, Armando Fortuna, Humberto Fortuna, Lino Fortuna and Luis Fortuna, her 4 grandchildren, Kristalyn, Cristiano, Victoria and Alyssia and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Born May 7, 1954 in Faial, Acores, Portugal, Gorette was a daughter born to the late Manuel Fortuna and Lucilia Da Fonte Fortuna. She was employed by the former ACME Boot Company, Analog Devices and Power General. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday April 19, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. from the Sheehan, Lowe & Powers Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. Followed by a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon in the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Rt. 27 Stoughton. The Pastor Fr. Carlos Suarez, officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.

She was 83 years old. Mrs. Allen was a loving mother to Belinda Needleman and husband David of Attleboro, MA, Kelly Allen Jr. of Stoughton, MA, Phyllis Needleman and late husband Arnie of Canton, MA, Curtis Allen and wife Tabitha of Decatur, Georgia and Timothy Allen and wife Celestine also of Attleboro, MA. Melva was also a sister to Uteen Cooper and late husband Hargrove of North Carolina and Mac Mann and wife Shirley of Hartford, Connecticut. Other survivors include her 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Allen will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A celebration of Melva’s life will be held on Wednesday April 13, 2022 at 12:00 noon from the House Of God Church (Keith Dominion), 1271 Park Street, Rt. 27 Stoughton. Bishop C. K. Butler, officiating. Visiting with the family will be held prior to the funeral service from 11a.m. - 12 noon. ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND. Mrs. Allen will be laid to rest immediately following the conclusion of the funeral service at Evergreen Cemetery, 1100 Washington Street, Rt. 138, Stoughton.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of over forty years, Susan, their loving children, Melissa, Amanda and Jennifer and the late Michael, his brother Vincenzo (Vinnie) and his sisters Rosina (Rose), Maria and Pasqualina (Lina). Obituary Preview: Patricia Ann Huether was born on October 8, 1946, in Boston Mass.  She was affectionately known as Pat to her friends and family.  We are saddened by her passing on the morning of March 23, 2022 at her home in Brighton. MA.
Pat was born and raised in Roxbury, MA. and moved to Sharon MA to raise her family of 3 girls.  During that time, she attended and graduated from Massasoit Community College as a Registered Nurse.  She was a nurse for 37 years most of which were served at The Carney Hospital in intensive care, the Cardiac Cath lab, and Recovery Room.  She spent her life caring and advocating for her patients, which was a life-long passion and was proud to serve.
She leaves behind her daughters Kerri Lanigan of Haverhill, MA., Kristin Morin and husband Jason of Agawam, MA., and Karen Powers and Billy (pre-deceased) of Stoughton, MA.  She also leaves 9 grandchilden: Thomas, Jonathan and Jillian Vaillancourt, Kate, Fredrick, James, and Jade Karl-Morin, and Julie and Billy Powers.   As well as, many nieces, nephews and good friends.
She is pre-deceased by her parents Josephine and Fredrick Otto and brothers Frederick, Jack, Donald, Robert (Red), and Kenneth Otto. Rest in peace Nana, you deserve all that heaven offers! ALL FUNERAL SERVICES ARE PRIVATE AT THIS TIME

Cabral, Thelma is survived by her children, Cindy L Burns and her husband Joseph of Florida,   Ronald B. Hill and his wife Deborah of Bridgewater,  Marjorie A Simon and her husband Gregory of East Wareham and Michael J. Cabral and his wife Cathleen of Walpole and her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.   Her parents, Rudolph Brooks and Mabel R (King), her brother Rudolph (Sonny), sisters Ruth Barrett and Reta Russell and half siblings Robert Brooks, Carol Williams and Constance Beck, predeceased Thelma.   Thelma worked for Liberty Mutual for many years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Stoughton. Thelma loved playing cards, bingo games, especially those at the Stoughton Senior Center and traveling. She loved to travel, any had many special trips, with her friends Kathy and Kenny Morrison and her niece Ruth Grezlik. Wirrell of Carver, John R. Wirrell Jr. and wife Patricia of Taunton, her sisters Tammylee M. Vernon and husband Nick Vernon of Staunton,VA, Charlotte I. Wirrell and late husband Markus L. Asberry of Stoughton, her two grandchildren, Scott A. Pratt and Stephen A. Pratt, several nieces and nephews and loving extended family members. She was also the daughter of the late Richard B. Stone and a sister to the late Linda A. Goldberg and Robert B. Goldberg.
Andrea was born on February 14, 1970 and attended Stoughton Public Schools. She enjoyed crafting, cooking, baking, going to casinos and mastering the art of using coupons. She was also a Girl Scout leader for many years and enjoyed helping others and spending quality time with her family. Andrea will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

He was also a father to the late Sherri LaMattina.
Mr. LaMattina was a United States Marine Corps Veteran and proudly served his country during the Vietnam Era. He was a self- employed Barber and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Nicholson of Stoughton, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was also a mother to the late Michael F. Nicholson and Marilyn M. Murguia and a sister to the late William Parkin and James Parkin.
Born April 28, 1931 in Taunton,Massachusetts, Virginia was a daughter to the late John William Parkin and Adeline (Kearney) Parkin. Ginny enjoyed Geneology and was a member of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution), the RHS (Red Hats Society) and the GSMS (The General Society Of Mayflower Decendants). Mrs. McGrath was employed as a Secretary by the Town of Stoughton for many years. She assisted various town departments that included the Board of Health, Finance Committee, the Zoning Board of Appeals and was the past chairman of the Municipal Regulations Committee. She was also a former Stoughton Town Meeting Member and also served as the past president of the Stoughton Town Hall Employees Association. Ginny also served as a secretary for the Legal Services Chapter of Greater Brockton and was the Placement Director for the Office of economic Opportunity and the Neighborhood Youth Corps Program. She also In her spare time she loved to travel. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Tony was also a brother to the late Sophie LaBossiere, Kosta Pechonis, Samuel Pechonis, John Pechonis, Milton Pechonis, Nicholas Pechonis, Stefanos Pechonis and Harris Pechonis.
Born September 13, 1933 in Stoughton, Massachusetts Anthony was a son of the late William K. Petsonas and Rosanna (Berube) Petsonas. He attended Stoughton Public Schools. Anthony was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force after proudly serving his country during the Korean War Era. Mr. Pechonis was employed for many years as a mill worker – machine operator at the former Plymouth Rubber Company in Canton,MA and later became a foreman – supervisor for the former Terkelsen Molding Company in Canton, MA. Tony enjoyed animals ,baseball, bowling, dancing, fishing, gardening, very loud music, woodworking and had the unique ability to “fix” old style radios and televisions. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Mrs. Corbett was employed as a Waitress for many years at the former Leonard’s Restaurant in Brockton. Since her early childhood days Helen was a devoted and active member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Stoughton. She was very involved with the church’s Friendship Club, Shufflers Group and the Bargain Box where she made many friends. She was also employed by the former Stoughton Pennysaver and enjoyed knitting. Helen will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Obituary Preview: Kathleen B. (Read) Reese, 89 of Stoughton passed away on November 27, 2021. Affectionately known as "Kay", Kathleen was born on October 20, 1932 to the late Carmen and Kathleen (Livingston) Read. She was raised and educated in Hyde Park and had been a resident of Stoughton for the past sixty years. Kathleen worked for BPM/Shaws for many years, before retiring in 1991. She enjoyed reading, bowling, outings with her many friends, and visiting with her loved ones. She also enjoyed travelling, especially bus trips with the Merry Travelers. Kathleen was the wife of the late Robert G. "Bud" Reese for 38 years, until his death in 1988. She will be remembered for her strong, independent spirit. Kathleen is survived by her children, Robert G. Reese Jr. and his wife Mary of Bridgewater, and Donald R. Reese and his wife Beverly of NH; her grandchildren; Donald Reese Jr. and his wife Celene, Kori Parkinson and her husband Scott, Eric Reese, Kevin Reese and his wife Mary Kerkorian, and Kelsey Bower and her husband Joshua; nine great-grandchildren: Darnell, Riley, Taylor, Sean, Ryan, Raymond, Danielle, Ivy, and Jase; her sister Calva Carlson of FL; her brother Carmen Reade and his wife Rose of Westport; and several nieces and nephews. Kathleen was predeceased by her siblings Donald Reade and Marjorie Dustin. Per Kathleen's request, no services will be held. Arrangements are by the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk St, Stoughton.

Obituary Preview: Donald Francis Chace Jr. “Donny” passed away on Saturday September 4, 2021 after a long struggle with addiction. He was 46 years old.
Born February 19, 1975 he was the son to Margaret A. (Dorsey) Chace of Stoughton and the late Donald F. Chace Sr. Donny was the father to Christian W. Chace, the brother to Christine E. Lima and her husband William of Stoughton, Karen J. Robinson of Webster, MA and Michael F. Chace of Florida. He was also an uncle to Brandon W. Lima (SPD) and Adriana C. Lima both of Stoughton. Other survivors include his lifelong buddies and confidants Rob, Justin and Adam, “Gram” Alice Dorsey of Braintree, his sons mother Denise E. Cardinal of Bridgewater and his dear friend Tracey King. and many dear friends and extended family members.
Donny attended Stoughton Public Schools and was a 1993 graduate of Stoughton High School. He was an avid Boston sports enthusiast and was also a big fan of the San Francisco 49ers. He also enjoyed playing poker and working out at the gym. Donny was a jokester and full of wit. He had a heart of gold that would never quit. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday September 10, 2021 from 3 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. with a Rememberence Service at 5:30 p.m. in the Sheehan, Lowe & Powers Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. Obituary Preview: Charles (Charlie) H. Andrews Jr, 91, of Raynham, MA, formally from Randolph, MA, passed away peacefully with family by his side on August 24, 2021 after a short illness. Born in Quincy, MA to Helen (Burke) Andrews and Charles H. Andrews Sr., he was raised in Milton MA and attended Milton Schools. He played football for Milton High School. After graduating, he joined the United States Army in 1949. He served in the Korean War in the 4 th medium tank battalion where he was awarded multiple commendations including a bronze star. In 1953, he married the love of his life, Esther M. Grant and moved to Randolph MA where they raised their 4 daughters. He worked at Suffolk Downs race track when he was young and then for Sunbeam Bread Company delivering bread for many years until his retirement. He was a loving, devoted family man who will be remembered for summer Cape Cod vacations, any beach “as long as it has salt water”, spending time outside in the sun working on his tan, perfecting his green thumb gardening his roses and rhododendrons, helping out the neighborhood with mowing lawns and snow blowing the driveways, watching Sunday football games (Go Pats!), the Red Sox, betting at the race tracks, card playing, watching western movies, never ending hard work ethic, storytelling, coin collecting, and his dedication to his family and friends. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, laugh, tell it like it is mentality, “if you are going to do it, do it right” attitude and the love and sacrifices he gave for his country and his family. He would do anything to help anybody and always put others before himself. Charles is survived by his wife of 68 years, Esther M. (“Sissy”) Andrews. His loving daughters, Eleanor Andrews of Raynham, MA, Charlene (“Chuckie”) Robinson and husband Mark of NY, brother Robert Andrews and wife Mary of Arizona. His grandson, Charles da Silva and wife Amanda of Rhode Island. 7 great grandchildren, Karl, Kylee, Kristopher, Kolten, Italia, Catarina, and Madalena. His nephews, Michael Andrews, Brian Andrews and Chad Andrews. His nieces, Jennifer DiGiorgio, Alana Andrews, and Keri Labadie. He was predeceased by his daughters, Sharon L. da Silva and Linda M. Andrews., brothers Paul T. Andrews and John F Andrews, granddaughter Jacqueline “Jackie” H. Andrews. He has reunited with the family in heaven and has joined the party once again. Rest in peace. The struggle is over. You are free to fly with the angels. We will “see you later”.
