Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2PM - 8PM Monday and 11AM Tuesday until time of service. Elmer was born December 1, 1942 in Flint, Michigan, the son of the late Donald Henry and Jenny Belle (Allen) Moench. He married Carol Sue Hetzel on November 2, 1963 in Flint and she preceded her in death on March 10, 2010. Elmer proudly served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War. Mr. Moench retired from General Motors Metal Fabrication Plant with 42 years of service. Elmer enjoyed yard work, woodworking and spending time with his K-9 companion Junior. Surviving are: children, Tonya (Mark) Solomon of Dallas TX, Donald Rudolph Moench of Flint, Jason Moench of Flint; grandchildren, Chevelle Solomon of Dallas, TX, Shelby Solomon of Dallas TX, Steven Sherman of Burton. He is also survived by his sister, Jenny Lynn Moench of Swartz Creek and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Judy Schmeider and brothers, David and Ronald Moench. Jack was born November 19, 1928 in Lynchburg, VA, the son of Emmett and Anita (Foote) Deady. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy. Jack was an Electrician in the residential and industrial construction field. He was a member of IBEW Local #665, Lansing; Faith Baptist Church of Lapeer; Masonic Lodge, Okemos; Elf Khurafeh Shriners, Lansing; and American Legion Post 0452, Stanton.
Surviving are: wife Beverly; children, John (Carol) Deady Jr., David (Glenda) Bailey, Timothy (Tanga) Bailey, Rebecca (Mark) Shepler; grandchildren, Selina, Justin, Jonathan, Jared, Lee, Daniel, Jordan, Zackery; great grandchildren, Riley, Jayden, Nadia, Wyatt, Easton, Maggie, Bridget, Tess, Madelyn and Harrison.

Interment will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 5 PM - 8 PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel at our temporary facility at Hill Creek Church, 5363 Hill Rd., Swartz Creek where a scripture service will be held at 7 PM Monday at the funeral home. Visitation will also be held 10 AM - 11 AM Tuesday at the church. In leiu of flowers, contributions may be made to Catholic Charities of Genesee County for the Teresa Goggins Kitchen. Michael was born March 20, 1930, the son of Joseph M. and Teresa (Kearney) Goggins. Michael was a 1948 graduate of St. Michael Catholic High School in Flint where he lettered in football, basketball and baseball. He was a 1956 graduate of University of Detroit where he was the Captain of the Football team and Catholic All American. At the end of his sports career, he was selected to receive UD's first Sportsmanship Award. Michael was inducted into the Greater Flint Sports Hall of Fame for Football and had the honor of having a bubble-gum card with his football picture and statistics. Michael was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Fenton Moose Lodge and had lived on Lake Fenton for many years. Michael was a dentist in Flint for over 35 years. Those who knew Mike, knew he loved parties, blondes and golf. Surviving are: three siblings, Thomas Goggins of Flushing, Mary "Babe" (Bill) Potbury of Flushing; and Ed Goggins of Flint; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents; sisters, Rosemary (Joe) Wisniewski and Patricia (Paul) Kupper; brother, John "Jack" (Sally) Goggins. He was the long time President of the Friendship Club. Bobby enjoyed working on and beautifying his yard. He also was an avid Euchre player. Surviving are: wife Joanne; daughters, Brenda Sovis, and Teresa (Eugene) Tuohy; son in law, Martin Sovis; grandchildren, Monica (Peter) Serran, Jason Sovis, David Sovis, Brandon Sovis, Garrett Tuohy, and Alex Tuohy; great grandson, Cooper Sovis; brothers, Donald (Carlene) Williamson, and Gary (Vicki) Williamson; several nieces and nephews.

She was an active member of Farnumwood Presbyterian Church, now Trinity United Presbyterian Church. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the joy of her life.

Hazel was born May 13, 1928 in Flint the daughter of Charles and Lillian (Vall) Beck. She married Douglas Smith, her high school sweetheart, on June 5, 1948. They had 65 years of marriage before he preceded her in the death on October 31, 2013. Hazel had a great sense of humor and was famous for using idioms. She would now say "I have curled up my toes." Hazel loved inviting people in to her apartment in Genesee Gardens. She made friends with everyone she met and was very accepting of all people. Hazel treasured her old friends, and also cherished new friends made at Genesee Gardens. She enjoyed working her flower gardens. She enjoyed welcoming people into her home, offering food every time (especially York Peppermint Patties and Jelly Beans). She is survived by 5 children, Susan Loree of Farmington Hills, Stephen (Betsy) Smith of Brownstown Indiana, Laura (Clay) Perkins of Davison, Philip (Beverly) Smith of Owosso, Katherine (Jeffrey) Schanhals of Grand Rapids; 14 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 65 years Douglas Smith; brother, Herbert Beck; sister Helen Wagar; son in law, Stephen Loree.

Mike was a caretaker and Saint to these individuals. He was a true family man, loving father and brother. His true passion was being a Gampa to Reidy. Mike was well known for his sloppy kisses, love of music, singing, and wealth of trivia knowledge. If you ever needed a "lifeline" on a game show, Mike was your man. He was an avid Detroit Tigers and U of M sports fan. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer who hosted the Bill Clark Open for over 50 years with 4 of his closest friends, Walt Johnson, Jack West, Don West, and Benny Benson. William is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Sharon; daughters, Laurie Clement (Ron), and Elizabeth Clark (special friend Clarence McKenzie); 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren, brother, Jim Clark (Margaret); sister Nellie Miller. William was preceded in death by his parents; son Bruce; daughter Michelle Buckmeier; grandson Jeremy Strauer; one sister Judy Benson (Robert); and brother Douglas. Per his wishes cremation has taken place. The family will celebrate his life through a memorial service on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 12PM.
