Obituary Preview: William Micheal Snell, Sr., affectionately known as Bill, passed away on July 25, 2023, at the age of 68, at his home in Seaford, Delaware. His battle with several medical issues showed his courage in facing life's challenges with a smile. Despite his pain, he was a protector and stayed strong until the end.
Bill was a master mechanic and as the saying goes, he could fix anything from steamboats to billy goats. He maintained a commercial driver's license throughout his life and has driven trucks.  He was employed by the following companies: Maryland Truck Parts, Chambers Motors, and Seaford Disposal. He loved that old number 03.
When he was not working, Bill would grab a pole and find a fishing spot. He passionately named one place, drop a line and catch a fish. He also enjoyed taking his children to amusement parks and going on long road trips, mostly to Alabama.

On Tuesday, December 3, 2013 a handsome baby boy named Zayden Lee Chandler was born in Milford, Delaware, with the most beautiful eyes.  He was the beloved son of Twyneica Chandler and LaKwan Davis. On Saturday, May 13, 2023, Zayden was called home after a brave battle.

His favorite movies were Toy Story, Sonic and scary shows.   He had many hobbies which included building Legos, coloring, video games, learning new things by watching YouTube and yard work. Elisabeth Blatchley - March 10, 1927 - February 14, 2023

Departed: 02/14/2023 (Seaford)
Obituary Preview: Elisabeth Warner Blatchley went to her heavenly home on February 14, 2023, personally delivering her husband, Edward, his valentine.
Bettye was born in Greenwood, South Carolina on March 10, 1927, to our adoring grandparents Elmer C. Warner, a proper southern farmer, and Louise M. Warner, the consummate homemaker and Sunday School teacher. Bettye was the youngest of three siblings, each a unique, strong and bright spirit. The entire Warner family and the family farm played major roles throughout our lives. On warm summer vacation nights, each of us has been serenaded to sleep by the whippoorwills in the woods surrounding that magical home.
After an idyllic childhood living, loving and learning on the family farm outside Ninety Six, South Carolina, Bettye entered Lander College in the fall of 1943 where she studied business, including such long-forgotten skills as Gregg shorthand.  There she met Edward C. Blatchley, a Yankee training at nearby Camp Croft, on a blind date during which the pair “enjoyed” a Sunday college dinner at the Dean’s table. Following her graduation and Dad’s WWII service in Europe, they were married on June 5, 1946, in Florence, South Carolina. The ensuing 60 years proved a full and happy adventure joined along the way by four wonderful children, their own incredible families and a passel of dear friends and relations. Travel was Bettye’s passion and the seven years she and Ed lived and worked in Izmir, Turkey was a joyous highlight of her life. So many amazing stories have sprung from their adventures there!
Bettye put her business skills, keen sense of fair play and innate Southern charm to work in the real estate trade with great success, personal satisfaction and joy. The culmination of her career was Bettye’s selection as Delaware Realtor of the year. Among her many volunteer involvements, her membership in P.E.O. figured prominently. Bettye was fully committed to the advancement and education of women locally, nationally, and internationally and was honored to serve as president of Chapter J.
Bettye’s church home was and is St. John’s United Methodist Church in Seaford. Her family thanks the beautiful people of St. John’s for 55 years of love and support in the good times and through the trials of a lifetime.
Our mother lived her 95+ years largely on her terms, including the years following dad’s passing when she was bound and determined to stay in her house. Through strenuous exertions of her iron will she did exactly that.
Bettye’s children, Connie Short (Charlotte, NC), Peter Blatchley (Monument, CO), Elisabeth Ruckert (Victor, NY) and Bruce Blatchley (Port Hadlock, WA) will endeavor mightily to keep her beautiful spirit blazing in the years ahead. While Bettye loved gardening and had quite the green thumb, may we suggest that in lieu of sending flowers, you contribute to the charity of your choice in her name?

Growing up, Damien was always interested in sports, excelling particularly in wrestling and football. He grew up alongside his younger brother, Dalton Ringstaff, with whom he shared his love of sports.
Damien had his first son, Dallan Ringstaff, in 2013, and his life instantly changed for the better. He met his wife Ariana in 2018, while working at his part-time job and they fell in love instantly.  They both shared a love for family and decided to start their own. As a father, he was patient, kind, loving, and generous.
In his free time, Damien loved to stay active by going to the gym and spending time cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles and Georgia Bulldogs.
Damien will be greatly missed by his family, especially his two sons, Dallan and Damien Jr., who adored him with all their hearts. Damien is survived by his father, brother, wife, and two sons.
We know that we can’t have you, but we’re happy knowing that the angels have finally got you back. Goodbye to an amazing husband and father.
