Rita’s passion for nature and learning shone strong through the lens of her pastimes. As such, she supported the traversion of many local species including Monarch butterflies, Bald Eagles, Canadian Geese, otters, deer, and many other migratory species. Her wonderful friends Pat and Kathy Flippo were always a point of adoration and inspiration for her as well. Let us all remember them as well, as she would want them to be mentioned along with her on the annals of history... Between the Saints... Louis & Paul... in reference to the Grand Mississippi River.
Most of all was her love of family. Her Husband, children and granddaughter were her world. One quote she always adored was..."You can't depend on your eyes when your imagination is out of focus." - Mark Twain
