He is proceeded in death by his loving parents Alberto Morin Sr. and his mother Emelia Cantu Morin.  Alberto, was a loving husband, loved dancing with his wife Cynthia, especially Tejano music. He worked tirelessly as a salesman delivering coffee in all the Rio Grande Valley for 28 years.
He loved his adorable Bella, his black Labrador, and his countless cats, oh, how he loved Texas Lottery (pick 3) and his scratch tickets. His last wishes were for everyone to remember him for the good times and not be saddened by his death but live life to the fullest.
Services started on Saturday and will continue Sunday, September 19 from 1 to 8 pm with a rosary will be at 6 pm and Monday Visitation from 9 am to 2:30 with a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conceptions Catholic Church at 3 pm Interment following the funeral services will be at Los Velas Cemetery in Rio Grande City.

Born in Rio Grande City, Texas to parents Julian Jr. and Librada Gonzalez, Hector was the youngest of eleven children, all preceded in death. He is survived by his wife Dora G. Gonzalez of 60 years and five children, Belinda (Alfonso) Trevino, Hector P. (Norma) Gonzalez, Jr., Victor (Dalinda) Gonzalez, Eli (Maribel) Gonzalez, & Regino (Yesenia) Gonzalez. Hector is also survived by his ten grandchildren, Vanessa Lei, Andy, Aissa, Pedro Alfonso Jr, Eddie, Denise, Cecilia, Ariana, Marina, and Sofia. Hector lived his whole life in Rio Grande City where he attended school, graduate in 1952. He also attended Pan American College. He retired from the Texas Dept of Agriculture (quarantine station) after 30 years. He dedicated his life to his family and ranching. He loved music, singing, dancing, and playing the guitar. Hector played the baritone during high school and college. He was an avid hunter and loved all things wildlife. Hector lived his life to the fullest until his final day. He has now rejoined his parents, siblings, cousins, and nephews in heaven, and will be missed. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 26th from 2:00 to 8:00 pm, with Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Sanchez Funeral Home in Rio Grande City, Texas. The funeral mass will be on Friday, August 27th at 10:00 am followed by the burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Hector Gonzalez, Jr., Eli Gonzalez, Regino Gonzalez, Pedro Alfonso Trevino, Pedro Alfonso Trevino, Jr., Julian Gonzalez, and Abel Eduardo Gonzalez.

Born to Julian Jr. and Librada Gonzalez in Rio Grande City, on December 3, 1919, she was the 3rd of 11 siblings. Benita married Nicasio Guerra of Mirasoles Ranch in April of 1938 and left her life in the city. They eventually established their home in the ranching community of El Sauz where they lovingly raised their four children. She was a homemaker who was highly skilled with her sewing machine fulfilling her love of fashion by sewing many garments for herself, her daughters, and her granddaughters. Benita was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 9 of her siblings, and her granddaughter Sandra Lou Chavez. She is survived by her children; Elma (Renato) Chavez, Mario (Amanda) Guerra, Roel (Ofelia) Guerra, and Maria Fabiola Guerra. Also surviving Benita is her youngest brother Hector (Dora) Gonzalez. Memories of her will be lovingly cherished by her 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on August 18, from 5-8 pm with a 7 pm rosary at Sanchez Funeral Home in Rio Grande City. Funeral Mass will be at 10 am on August 19, at Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe Catholic Church, in El Sauz with interment immediately following at Guerra Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Saulo Amaya, Jorge Barcenas, Carlos Chavez, Renato Chavez, Jr., Arturo Perez, and Juan Angel Rosa.

Rodriguez and Antonio O. Rodriguez.  She is also preceded in death by her brother, Jesus “Chucho” Rodriguez + [Brenda Rodriguez+], brother, Jaime Rodriguez+ [Frances Rodriguez], and sister, Margarita R. Guerra+ [Lucio S. Guerra, Jr.+].  Survivors include 2 sisters, Socorro R. Pedraza [Beto Pedraza +] and Zulema “Chule” R. Saenz [Armando Saenz +] and many nieces and nephews.
She will be missed but she is now in the presence of the family that she had missed so much.  Affectionately known as “Tita” or “La Teacher” she was remembered by many students and faculty in Rio Grande City.  May she rest in peace. Rosie is survived by her loving children John Vernon Bryan, Jr. (LeeAnn) and Sandra Ann Bryan, 3 grand-daughters, her sister Micaela (Alvaro) Rodriguez, her best friend Josie Garces, and numerous nieces and nephews. Rosie attended Roma ISD, was a 1965 graduate from Roma High School and went on to receive her Business degree from McAllen Business College. Rosie worked with the Texas Department of State and Human Services in Starr and Cameron Counties and the Hidalgo County Health Department until she retired. Rosie loved gardening and loved growing tomatoes, squash, and peppers, and loved sharing her crops with friends, family, and neighbors. Rosie also loved fishing, spending quality time outdoors, and loved going to the ranch in El Sauz. Rosie will be greatly missed.
