Hollingshead, 70, of Terre Haute passed away Monday, April 18, 2022 at Majestic Care of Deming Park.  She was born February 3, 1952 to Ernest Dillard and Marjorie Daves Price.  Sherry was a loving mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed traveling, especially to Nashville, Tennesee.  Thanksgiving dinner was always special at her home.  She made the best fried chicken and banana pudding.  Sherry loved to watch people participate in Karaoke.  Most of all she loved spending time with the grandchildren and was blessed to be able to babysit the youngest for the last couple of years.
Sherry is survived by her sons Jeff Balding and Jason Elder, daughters Chrystal Elder, Tina Elder (Jason Briggs), and Tiffany Catterson (Jeremy Crickmore) , eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, brother Randall Crossno (Gail), two nephews, and close friends Maire Woodruff and Dennis Baugh.  She is preceded in death by her parents and one son Curtis Balding.

Grandchildren; Erik, Nikole, James, Darin, Dylan, Elijah, Elynna and Morgan. Great Grandchildren; Alex, Meri, Gabby, Emie, Mallory, River, Thaddeus, and Anastasia. Sister-in-laws; Hope, Roxie, Mona, Flora, Patty, and Linda. Brother-in-laws; Russell and Jay. Also Cousin Greenwell many Nieces and Nephews.
No formal public services will be held, but the family asks for anyone to make a donation in her name to any of several organizations listed ( Kidney Foundation, Riley Children’s Hospital, or Shriners Children’s Hospital).

Crafton, Sr. and Patty (Butts) Standley.  Sandy enjoyed playing softball, going fishing, and crafting.  She also liked playing cards with friends and family.  Sandy loved animals, especially her dogs.  She loved children and got so much joy spending time with her nieces.
Sandy is survived by her mother and stepfather Patty and Ron Standley, sister Ronni Borders (Thomas), brother John Crafton Jr, aunt Karen Dean, cousin Clyde Dean, Jr., nieces Jasmine Borders and Leah Borders, many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as many close friends and neighbors in Centerpoint.  She is preceded in death by her father, her beloved husband Johnnie Clark who passed away in 2019, and special nephew Kaleb Scott Borders who passed away August 12, 2013, and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Survivors include her three children, Tammy Dekker (Darren), Tara Garrett (Jeff Woolard), Thomas D Little III (Heidi) all of Terre Haute; nine grandchildren, Andre (Lawren), Dustin, Derek (Emily), Bayley, Shelby, Emma, Abbi, Layla, and Brinzley,; and two great grandchildren Harlow and Ezra. Also surviving is her sister Lynda Serkowski (Jim) of Arizona, Brother-in-law Vincent Little (Cindy) of Terre Haute; sister-in-law Sandy Papero (John) of California; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas D. Little II; sister Carol Snow; and a grandson Brandon.
Joyce formerly owned and operated Little Yard Hoppers Lawn Care. She loved to mow the grass, hunt mushrooms and always participated with her husband at Pioneer Days at Fowler Park. Joyce Love all animals and never met a stranger. She was a VCSC School Bus Driver for many years as well as an employee of the Vigo Co. Park Department.
Private burial will occur at Roselawn Memorial Park. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Fowler Park Barn Saturday April 23rd at 1:00 pm. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society 1811 S Fruitridge Ave, Terre Haute, IN

Kenny was preceded in death by both parents; brother Clifford Cline; sister Bonnie Cline.  He is survived by his wife Nancy Armstrong Cline; daughter Jennifer Gilbert; granddaughters Peyton Gilbert (Duane Adams) and Mackenzie Bedwell; great-grandchildren Hunter and Wyatt Adams.  Kenny spent a lot of his life working on cars.  He retired from Advics.  Kenny was a former member of the Pierson Township Loins Club.  Some would say that Kenny was a car fanatic. He loved anything car related, especially ’55 Chevy’s.  He was an avid Dale Earnhart fan and loved watching NASCAR every Sunday.  Kenny enjoyed fishing, cooking out on “his” grill, and having many lake parties.  A celebration of life will be held for Kenny on a later date.

Obituary Preview: Marjory Modesitt, 91 of Cory, passed away Monday afternoon, April 4th, 2022 at Mill Pond Health Campus.  She was born March 29, 1931 in Cory to Harland “Pat” and Josephine (Collins) Warken.  Marjory was a retired farmwife homemaker, and a loving mother and grandmother.  Her hobbies included flower gardening, sewing, and walking.  Marjory was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years Bill.  She is survived by her son Craig Modesitt (Lori); daughter Holly Wolf (Mike); grandchildren Whitney Burger, Tyler Harrison (Kayla), Conner Modesitt, Parker Modesitt, Kyle Wolf, Kate Wolf, as well as great-grandchildren Hailee Burger, Leighton and Abel Harrison.  Marjory is to be cremated with a celebration of her and Bill’s life being held at Zion Church Saturday, April 23 and 2:00 PM.  The family would like to thank Mill Pond Health Campus and Life’s Journey Hospice Care for their kindness and compassion.

Kathy Prickett, and George R. who preceded Mark in death. He is also survived by his life partner, Diane Snow. Mark resided in St. Petersburg, FL. for some years, working the farms before moving back to Terre Haute. He loved the outdoors. Among his favorite things to do, fishing and
card games such as solitaire, and poker brought him enjoyment. He also loved helping others when he could.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In loving memory of Mark Anthony Reynolds who went home to be with the Lord. He was an incredible loving brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.
His sense of humor was infectious, as were his kind words. He will live on in our hearts and memories forever. Gone, but never forgotten.

Oscar is survived by his daughter Kathy Stein, son Ron Henry, grandchildren Shawn and Joey Pitman of South Carolina, Kristin Stein, Dominique Fruits, and Lindsey Cooper, as well as six great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Patricia, son Gary Pitman, and several siblings.

Janice served her country in the United States Airforce.  She was a great baker and cook, often times cooking for the church and others.  Janice loved living on the farm and loved animals.  For over 35 years she fostered children in Kentucky, Indiana, and New York impacting so many lives.  She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Elmira, NY.  Being a mother and grandmother was her true passion.
She is survived by her sons Joseph Anvoots (Angie) of Greencastle, Indiana and Mark Anvoots (Deanna) of Erin, New York, foster daughter Malinda Marie Jackson, grandchildren Joseph Anvoots II, Michael Anvoots, Jordan Marie Anvoots, Sidney Anvoots, and Kendall Anvoots, eight great-grandchildren, brother Ted Findenbinder (Rose) and several nieces and nephews.  Janice was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lynn Doane, husband and father of her sons Sidney Anvoots, and sister and brother in law Myrtie and Bob VanDeusen.

Shawna is survived by her mother, Rhonda S. Boyd, sons Wesley C. Firestone (Marisa) of Rockville and Jimmy J. Griffin Jr. (Ashley Allee) of Rosedale, grandchildren Arya R. Firestone and Dylan L. Pfettscher, 64, of Poland passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022 at his residence surrounded by family.  He was born September 2, 1957 in Evansville to Robert Edward Pfettscher and Vivian Thelma Bresslar Pfettscher.  Fred was a Union plumber with Local 440 for many years.  He enjoyed working on cars, hunting, fishing, and building model cars.  Fred was a hardworking family man who loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. The last project he was working on was a vintage Cadillac Eldorado convertible with his grandsons, Levi and Ryan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Barb, son Fred J. Pfettscher, Jr. (Tainara), daughter Patricia White, grandsons Levi, Eli, and Ryan; and brothers Darrell Pfettscher (Sandy) and Mark Pfettscher.  Fred it preceded in death by his parents and brother Bobby Pfettscher.

Loretta was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Fan since 1965 and enjoyed reading, cooking, and spending time with her family. Loretta’s greatest joy was being a mother to her 5 children and a grandmother. Jeanne spent the majority of her adult life as a homemaker.  Jeanne was best known for her quirky personality and love of her family.  Jeanne enjoyed singing, dancing, socializing and spending time with family. Jeanne also had a special love for her canine companions throughout her life.
Jeanne was preceded in death by three older brothers and four older sisters, she was the second youngest of nine children.
Jeanne is survived by her brother; Jack Howerton, her children; Linda (Keith) Patterson of Evansville, IN and Dan Owens of Farmersburg, IN, her Grandchildren; Andrea Aubrey, Kristopher Patterson, Lindsey (Andrew) Phillips, Kyra (Michael) Peoples, and Danielle (Chris) Fisher, as well as, 11 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was always working on Mopar cars or other projects and using his mechanical gifts to help others. Bill was often the life of the party bringing joy with him to every room he entered. He was loved by all who knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Carolynn Hoover, his sisters Bonnie Bell (Robert), Starla McDonald, and his brothers Dennis Plummer (Teresa), Donnie Osborn, and Ernie Osborn, his son William Osborn Jr., three grandsons Keistonn, Kegan, and Korbyn Osborn, and his longtime girlfriend Susie Roberts.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Osborn Jr., brother John Osborn III and his sister Lora Lynn Osborn.
A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at the Samaritan Funeral Home with visitation from 11:00 am-1:00 pm. The funeral will be officiated by Sean Batson at 1:00 pm.
