Nicholas Anthony Bissel - May 25, 1989 - March 30, 2022

Departed: 03/30/2022 (Bayonne)
Obituary Preview: On Wednesday, March 30, 2022, a spectacular and greatly loved young man went to soar with the angels. Nicholas Anthony Bissel, born May 25, 1989, was the kind of man whose energy and magnetic smile lit up any room he walked into. Nick graduated Raritan High School, Hazlet NJ and attended the University of Miami, The University of the Arts and The Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theater. To say he was a Renaissance Man is an understatement. Nick never feared any new or bold venture- there was little he would not do and pursue with unbridled enthusiasm. He was first and foremost an artist which was something that was not just his passion but a calling at which he excelled. He was a talented graphic designer and owner of Mortukum, a Creative Services Agency, a gifted cake artist who enterprised the popular Twisted Whisk Bakery almost exclusively online. Nick was an actor and a songwriter/singer and possibly the best friend a person could have. There was no favor too big to ask. He was blessed with the rare ability to be direct and sincere whenever he saw a friend in need of  honesty and direction. He also helped strangers working arduously as a volunteer EMT with the Hazlet First Aid Squad . Nick always was a gentleman and showed us all what a class act is.
Perhaps more than anything, Nick was a family man. He embraced his family with his whole heart and in many ways they helped define him. He was a loving son to Ann Marie and Michael Bissel and a dedicated brother to his brother Jude and sister Kristina. Nick may have been at his very best and most loving with his niece- his heart - Kristina’s daughter, Elysia.
Nick’s happy place was being one with nature and now all of the sky is his playground, surrounded by stars that shine almost as brightly as he. We will all be looking up Nicky. Nick is survived by his parents Ann Marie and Michael, his brother Jude Vincent, his sister Kristina, niece Elysia, his partner Stephen Blazejewski,  his grandmother Anna DeSalvo and many Aunts, Uncles and cousins along with a countless circle of friends

James Raymond Rozanski - Unknown - May 02, 2021

Departed: 05/02/2021 (Bayonne)
Obituary Preview: James Raymond Rozanski
James R Rozanski, of New York City (formerly Port Monmouth Nj, passed suddenly and swiftly May 2, 2021. A passionate and determined young man, James achieved many great things, lived life fully and joyfully, and surrounded himself with both the experiences and people that would help him to become a well respected, admired, and truly loved person by all who had the honor to know him.
Following his rise through grammar and middle school, where he consistently annoyed his classmates with his constant singing and ease of studies, James attended the Marine Academy of Science and Technology on Sandy Hook where he continued to excel both academically and as a member of the JROTC. It was there that James found his confidence and direction, earning a scholarship to NYU, and thus beginning his love affair with the city.
Leaving home at 17, never to return, he worked to support his dreams in Manhattan and lived a fiercely independent life to see them to fruition. It was also there that James found his community, and was fully free to live his life as a proud gay man openly and honestly. He surrounded himself with wonderful friends who helped lead him through this journey with love, support, and understanding. He continued his studies at Parson’s School of Design, earning his graduate degree and set off to reach the stars.
Sharing his talents and drive with whomever he worked for or with, James became an adjunct professor at Parson’s and fully realized his love of teaching. He loved his school, his colleagues and most of all, his students. When he spoke of this aspect of his life, his beautiful smile just beamed and anyone could tell just how much it meant to him. James also worked as the assistant creative director at VTS in NYC where he shared his creative talents and passion for the field of design.
James’ love for life was most apparent in the relationships and friendships he developed along the way. He was iconic! His beautiful smile in all the endless selfies was genuine. He loved all the experiences he had and all the people that came with them. He was a positive, confident, and genuine human being who wanted to be encouraging, supportive, and open to anyone who would accept it. He was admired, and emulated, by many.
Those in his family, which included his many circles of friends, have suffered the greatest loss and our heartbreak is immense. We will ache with the constant pain of his loss in our lives.
James has left behind his proud and loving parents, Jamie Rozanski (née Howlett) and George and Bernadette Rozanski, adoring grandmother Arlene Howlett, heartbroken brother, Michael Rozanski, brother Tommie Harrell, sister Emily Landsverk and niece Genevieve Landsverk. His grieving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, colleagues, students, and wide circle of friends also share in this horrible loss to the world.
