Wayne was born in Phillipsburg, NJ on October 24, 1957 to the late Charles M. Gary and C. Jean Gary nee Skillman.

After graduating from Phillipsburg High School in 1976, he went on to study drafting at Lincoln Tech and worked as an engineer for 43 years; finally retiring in 2021. Wayne enjoyed working with his hands and took pride in remodeling and maintaining his home and yard while building his ever expanding garage workshop. He spent countless hours working on his triumph motorcycles and loved riding to the races with his friends and cruising country roads with his wife. Wayne loved helping others and devoted his time to youth sports at Lower Nazareth Recreation where he coached his children along with many others. Wayne enjoyed many hobbies over the years, especially his time as an amateur beekeeper. He enjoyed travelling to new places with his wife and always looked forward to their next adventure. He was taught a love of the outdoors by his father and was eager to share it with his family. He loved hunting with his daughter, fly-fishing with his son and teaching his grandchildren how to fish.

Wayne is survived by Wife, Deanna Marcantonio DeGraff-Gary; Son, Christopher Wayne (Jianna) Gary; Daughter, Sarah Jean; Step-Daughter, Kiersten (husband, Andrew Coon) DeGraff-Coon; Grandchildren, Julianna Ray Pysher, Lucas Charles Pysher, Meilani DeGraff-Coon, and Carmine DeGraff-Coon. He was pre-deceased by Granddaughter, Jasmin Ray Pysher.

Suzanne was a homemaker who cared for her siblings as they grew and, later in life, her son Christian. She was an animal lover, who was always willing to care for sick or injured animals. Over the years, Suzanne cared for many of her own pets.

Suzanne is survived by her Mother, Judith; Son, Christian (Rebecca) Johnson; Sister, Samantha Grape; Four Brothers, John, Norman, Thomas and Daniel Lore; Aunt, Caroline Johnson; Dear Friend, Nettie Furman; and Cat, Baby.

Joyce was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School and worked at several different jobs during her lifetime. She enjoyed being active in her church, loved going to flea markets and spending time with her grandchildren.

Joyce is survived by her Son, Donald of Montana; Daughter, Barbara Walsh of Pennsylvania; 3 Granddaughters, Jennifer, Dorie and Wendy; Great-grandchildren, Cameron, Travis, Amanda, Jonas, Faith and Brianna; and 2 Great-great-grandchildren, Milo and Lilly . Joyce was predeceased by her Brother, Jack and Sisters, Jean and Lorraine.

Obituary Preview: Shirley J Slack, 89 of Pohatcong Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 6th, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the beloved wife of the late Claude E. Slack, to whom she was married 40 years prior to his passing in 1996.

Born on January 31, 1935 in Easton, PA, Shirley was a daughter of the late Roy Gardner, Sr. and Esther Riegel Gardner.

Shirley was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School, Class of 1953. She was once a Telephone Operator with Bell Telephone Company in Easton, PA, before becoming a full time mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; a role she enjoyed and cherished.

Through the years, Shirley enjoyed many family vacations, playing cards, bowling, and watching the Phillies. She was a member of the Alpha Ladies Auxiliary of Warren Hospital and a member of United Presbyterian Church of Alpha.

Shirley will be deeply missed by her three daughters Debra L. (Donald) Gentzle of Palmer Township, PA, Donna L. (Dave) Peisel of Wilmington, DE, and Lori L. Fleming (Barry) of Pohatcong Township, NJ where she lived for four years in the home she grew up in. In addition are grandsons Jason McNew (fiancé Kristen), Don Gentzle, Jr. (wife Pam), and Brad Gentzle, along with great grandchildren Declan McNew and Angeline, Emily, Elizabeth, & Reiss Gentzle and step-grandchildren David Peisel and Tom Peisel and their families, and step-great grandchild Jack.

She is also survived by her brother Roy Gardner, Jr. and companion Janet Dutcher, along with nieces Sheri Lobb (George), Jodi Williams (Ted), Sandi Miller (Tom) and their families.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her infant granddaughter Mallory J. Gentzle and her sister-in-law LeJeune Gardner.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, May 10th with tribute at 12:00 at the Rupell Funeral Home, LLC; 465 Memorial Parkway; Phillipsburg, NJ, 08865. Interment will be in Greenwich Cemetery, Stewartsville, NJ.

Marsha was an active member of Trinity Orthodox Presbyterian Church of Palmer Township and, at one time, was a member of Calvary Community Church of Harmony Township, NJ.

Don enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, hunting, golfing and participating in archery. He was also an avid bowler. Don was a former member of Wesley United Methodist Church of Phillipsburg where he was a Sunday School teacher and served on the Board of Trustees.

Don is survived by Son, Donald Miller Jr. (wife, Jo); Two Daughters, Beth Miller and Lisa Miller; Two Grandsons, Christopher Frisbie and Jason Miller; Two Granddaughters, Michelle Eldridge and Jamey Brackley; 3 Great-Grandsons; and 2 Great-great-granddaughters. Don was predeceased by Daughter, Linda J Frisbie.

Carl was born in Easton, PA on August 10, 1940 to the late Carl Keis and Jessie Rush Meixsell.

Carl was Tax Collector and Chief Financial Officer of Lopatcong Township for many years, retiring in 2004. In his earlier years, he was a Cost Accountant for various companies. Carl was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School - Class of 1958, a graduate of Churchman Business School where he was Valedictorian, attended Rutgers University, and was a graduate of Moravian College. He also served his country in the National Guard. Carl loved sports, having been a loyal Phillipsburg Stateliner and Philadelphia sports fan. He enjoyed being active by riding his bike, going for walks, taking trips with his wife Bobbie, and tending to his yard and pool. Most importantly, Carl loved supporting his grandchildren in their activities and being with his family.

Carl was an active member of Pilgrim Presbyterian Church of Phillipsburg where he was an Elder and served as a member of the Fairmount Cemetery Board of Directors.

Carl is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Clymer Meixsell; Two Sons, Carl C. (Tracy) Meixsell and Robert E. (Melissa) Meixsell; Daughter, Sarah E. (Benjamin) Shornock; Grandchildren, Carl, Bradley, Paige, Trevor, Kendall, Bryce, Chase, Linken and Max.

Services for Carl will be private and his resting place will be in the family plot at Fairmount Cemetery.

He was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Bill enjoyed woodworking, furniture restoration, chair caning and going to yard sales with wife, Dorothy. He was also an excellent baker of pies and was known for his cooking. The Laubach home was always a place of warmth and hospitality while hosting Christmas Eve parties and Sunday lunches.

William was a longtime member of Calvary Community Church of Harmony Township, NJ where he served as Sexton for over 50 years, served as a Trustee and was caretaker of the Calvary Cemetery.

William is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Allshouse Laubach; Daughter, Leslie (John) Wyckoff; Two Sons, Eric (Leah) Laubach and Kevin (Ismari) Laubach; Grandchildren, Tyler and Zachary Laubach, Noelle Kreitz, Olivia Yoder, Johnny and Sadie Wyckoff, William, Josiah, and Maria Laubach; Great-grandson, Charlie "CJ"; and Two Sisters, Harriet Koch and Meryl Rice. Most importantly, Cookie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Cookie also enjoyed volunteering at Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm in Strousburg, PA.

Ed was born in Craigmont, ID on April 1, 1941 to the late Gordon C. and Betty Ann Stevens Kauffman.

Ed served his country as a Captain in the United States Navy, until his retirement in 1993. Ed was a graduate of the University of Washington and, shortly after graduation, enlisted with the Peace Corps. Following his years with the Peace Corps, Ed was commissioned as an Officer with the United States Navy. Upon retirement in 1993, Ed enrolled in classes at Westminster Theological Seminary where he found his passion and joy for bringing people closer to Christ. Ed lived his life in service to the Lord and to others in his community. He was a Ruling Elder with the Orthodox Presbyterain Church and at Calvary Community Church of Harmony Township, NJ. Ed also helped establish OPC Churches in Puerto Rico. In his free time, Ed enjoyed collecting model trains and learning about Steam Trains.

Ed is survived by his Wife, Mary Sharp Kauffman; Children, Anne (Steven) Sarkisian, Earl (Christianne) Kauffman, Vinh Ho (Mary), Michelle (Linc) Fowler, Robert Kauffman, and Joshua Kauffman; 14 Grandchildren; Sister, Ann French; and Brother-in-Law, Frank Sharp. Blanche was always on the go. She enjoyed camping and traveling to Key West and to Long Beach Island. Blanche loved life, loved being with her family, entertaining during the Holidays and loved her pets Piper and Hidie.

Blanche was a very active member of the Phillipsburg Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, where she was President for many years.

Blanche is survived by her Daughter and Best Friend, AnnMarie Hardick of Phillipsburg; Two Brothers, George C. (Suki) Phillips and James A. (MaryLou) Phillips; Sister, LuAnn E. Ralph proudly served his country as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army and Army National Guard, retiring in 1992. He was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School, Class of 1970. Ralph was very active with the Boy Scouts in his younger days, and achieved the great distinction of Eagle Scout. Ralph was proud of his ancestry as a descendant of John, one of the five sons of Thomas Stewart, for whom Stewartsville, NJ was named. Ralph was the last of the family to reside in Stewartsville.

Ralph is survived by 5 first Cousins on the Stewart side, Charles, David, and Lynda Price, Judith Knight Philpot and Robert Knight. He was predeceased in 1978 by his wife, WAC Diana Lynn (Finnegan) Stewart.

Harv attended North Warren Regional High School in Blairstown, NJ and Warren County Vocational Technical School in Washington, NJ.  He worked in the commercial asphalt industry for more than four decades. He enjoyed all forms of auto racing and planned a NASCAR themed wedding between he and Deborah.  He was captain of the Hilltop Cafe billiards team in Phillipsburg, NJ for 20 years.  He was a lifelong Philadelphia Phillies fan and he "respectfully requests six Philadelphia Phillies as pall bearers so that the Phillies can let him down one last time."

He was a prince of a man and Harv's light will forever illuminate the lives of those he touched and his memory will be cherished by many who know him.  May he rest in peace knowing that he was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.

Harv is survived by his wife of 25 years, Deborah (nee Morgan); Step daughter Season Scheirer and her husband James and grandson Jacob Scheirer, of Bethlehem, PA;  brothers Sam and George Makatura of Malta, Ohio; several nieces and nephews , and brother-in-law, Michael Morgan of Cocoa, Florida. He was predeceased in death by his sister, Alice Meyers.

A Memorial Visitation for the Family and Friends of Harv will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Rupell Funeral Home 465 Memorial Parkway, Phillipsburg, NJ.

Patrick John Williamson, Jr. - January 16, 1951 - February 28, 2024

Obituary Preview: Patrick John Williamson, Jr., 73, passed away at his home in Easton, PA, on February 28, 2024, surrounded by his large, loving family.

Patrick was born in Easton on January 16, 1951 to Patrick John Williamson, Sr. and Frances J. Wiedman, spending the majority of his childhood growing up in Phillipsburg, NJ, where he loved exploring the river and valley. He often compared his early years to the adventures of Huckleberry Finn. In his youth during the 1960s, Patrick performed as a drummer in several bands alongside his friends and was known to heavily imply that he was Paul McCartney’s cousin to cute girls at school (which he attended rarely.) He also fished extensively at the Delaware River, hopped trains, and raised pigeons. Patrick dutifully attended Phillipsburg wrestling matches and football games with his brother Art, including every Thanksgiving Day Phillipsburg-Easton football game, missing only a single game during the year he was in Vietnam. Go Liners!

Patrick was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School and entered the Army in 1969, serving in Vietnam. He was a Private First Class Specialist serving as a squad leader in the 119th Aviation Company, callsign “Alligator,” and received the Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and three Bronze Stars. He was honorably discharged in 1972.

Although not affiliated with any one formal Christian tradition, Patrick was a lifelong servant of the Lord, striving continually to be a model of Christ in his words and actions. He obtained his Associate’s Degree in Theology from Liberty Bible College. His lifelong interest in theology contributed to the kind, empathetic man he became.

Beginning in his 30s, Patrick started work as a Kitchen and Bath Designer and obtained numerous specialty certifications in his field, until his retirement in 2006.  However, his main occupation was as a devoted father to his two children, Patricia, born in 1973 and Samuel, born in 1990, and numerous others whom he enthusiastically parented.

Patrick is predeceased by his parents, step-father Eugene Walter Sr.; niece, Nicole; and long-time former partner and mother of his son Samuel, Annette Fleischman.

He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Williamson and her partner, Scott Branden of Pen Argyl; son, Samuel Fleischman Williamson and his partner Arpad Hervanek of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Bowie; grand-dogs Clover and Fig; and great-grandchildren Ava and Lukas.  Patrick is also survived by brothers Arthur Williamson and his wife, Deborah of Palmer Township and Eugene Walter and his wife Donna of Bensalem; nieces Tanya, Aimee and Sarah; nephews Justin, Matthew, Robbie; and former wife and life-long friend, Donna Miller of Easton.

In addition to all the family listed above, he will also be greatly missed by his numerous grand-nieces and grand-nephews, family pets, and all the other people he’s known along his journey that called him Pop-Pop, teacher, confidant and friend.

Walter was a faithful member of Pilgrim Presbyterian Church of Phillipsburg, where he was a member of the choir. Along with his wife, Joan, Walter volunteered with Meals-on-Wheels for many years.

Walter is survived by Sisters-in-Law, Jean Pyatt of Easton, PA.and Carol Peake of Monroe, NC; niece, Dolcie Peake; nephew, Bruce (Christine) Peake; great-nephews, Graeson and Logan; and several cousins, to include Susan (George) Beling and Tim Gadwell.
