She was also preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Barbara, two sisters, Thelma Worrell and Marlene Moser and one brother, Lloyd Moser.Surviving are two sons, Dale (Dyann) Aupperle of Maroa, IL, David (Nancy) Aupperle of Hockessin, DE; three daughters, Ruth (Elmer) Kaufman of Naperville, IL, Mary Lindsay of Hammonton, NJ, and Marge (Sven) Anderson of San Rafael, CA; one brother, Keith Moser of Fairbury, IL; two sisters, Coleen Walters and Sharon Kelson both of Fairbury, IL, twelve grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.Joanne enjoyed being a homemaker and a farm wife. She was a volunteer at heart and donated her time to the American Red Cross, Meadows Mennonite, nursing home, spare n share, and meals on wheels. She was born on September 1, 1938 in Vandalia, IL a daughter of Harold W. and Alverda S. McEndollar Pruett. She married Arthur E. King, Jr. on January 26, 1957 in Peoria County, IL. They divorced on December 8, 1981, and he died May 14, 1989.
Survivors include her children, Tammy (Clint) Detrick of El Paso; Cindy Hardin of Peoria; Arthur E. (Deb) King III of Yates City, IL; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

She is also a daughter-in-law to Alvin (late) and Eileen (Ginzel) Eckhoff.Dawn graduated as valedictorian from Flanagan in 1991. After that, she attended SIU and then Illinois State University where she received her Bachelorā€™s degree in teaching. She began her career, while shortly after, returning to school to receive her Masterā€™s degree from Olivet. Surviving is one daughter, Julie (Thomas) Lenox of Edgerton, WI; one son, John Caflisch of El Paso, IL; one sister, Bonnie (Lynn) Lytle of Poynette, WI; one brother, Larry (Barbara) Atkinson of DeForest, WI; five grandchildren, Ashlee Caflisch, El Paso, IL, Hugh (Connie) Lenox of Cambridge, WI, Aaron (Niki) Lenox of Cambridge, WI, Sheffia Lenox of Chicago, IL, Marcelaine (Sam) Clements of Edgerton, WI.; and seven great-grandchildren, Braden, Haylee, Nova, Annaka, William, Bennett, and Annalise.
Diana worked as a server for many years at many different restaurants. She also worked for Pfister Hybrid Corn Company, now Beckā€™s Hybrids in El Paso, IL, and IKI Manufacturing in Edgerton, WI. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in El Paso. Diana loved doing puzzles, reading romance novels, and took great pride in her laundry and having a clean house. She was a confident woman who would always tell you like it was. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2024, at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso, IL. Visitation will be two hours prior to services, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial of her ashes will be in Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.

As a young child Arlene helped around the farm, feeding chickens and gathering eggs, carrying to the house drinking water and cobs for the cook stove. She helped with ironing, canning and Ā·enjoyed the daily afternoon trips to the field to take her father an afternoon snack.Arlene was baptized February 19, 1933, and confirmed July 14, 1946, both at St. John's Lutheran Church in Secor by the Rev. John F. Schnack.She began education as the only student at the one-room Meridian Grade School and finished Grade School with two persons in the class. She graduated from Eureka High School in 1951 then worked four years for Eureka State Bank and Heyl Motor Company.She married Darwin Lynn Punke on January 22, 1955, at St. John's Lutheran Church. by the Rev. Herman J. Reinking, then joined Trinity Lutheran Church in El Paso. Arlene and Darwin enjoyed building their rural home overlooking the Mackinaw River where they raised their 4 children.
