He was a clown, truly. In the Pacific Northwest, Tony worked with troubled ad sick children. He taught classes at Bellevue Community College. And, as "Bobby" the clown, he was able to draw a smile out of countless hospitalized children and crowds by just goofing off in parades.
The last 10 years was hard on Tony as he was undiagnosed with Parkinson's, COPD, Lewey Body dimentia, and congestive heart failure, but he never failed to have a joke or a smile. He was a gentle-man in every sense. He was his wife's best friend and soulmate.
We are blessed to have shared 35 years of love and laughter with Tony and send his wistfully to our Lord where we know he will be a joy, as he was to us.

Oshki Roo Duke-Kelley - March 21, 2008 - June 28, 2023

Departed: 06/28/2023 (Paris)
Obituary Preview: Oshki Roo was born March 21, 2008. He was a registered miniature poodle. He was purchased by a couple with kids, the dad went to Iraq and the kids would not take care of him. The children's grandmother called me and asked me if I knew of anyone who might want him because he was in a wire pen at the end of the driveway in the hot sun and they were fixing to take him to the pound. I was having lunch with Annette Duke at the time of the call, and when I asked her, she said "we are taking that baby, we will find a home for him, they ARE NOT taking him to the pound." So I went and picked him up, poor baby was hot, thirsty and hungry, his hair was matted and he smelled really bad. Oshki didn't care that he smelled really bad, he just crawled right up beside my neck and snuggled right up. I took him home and gave him a bath and he was so small that I could hold him in my hand. I took him to Annette's house and she instantly fell in love. He had found a home where he was going to be loved like never before. Annette and I immediately went shopping. By the time we got back home, Oshki had a bed, a kennel, a car seat, and lots of treats and toys, and food, of course. Then, Annette and I spent 3 hours trying to figure out what to name him. Annette finally decided on Oshki Roo, which is his dad's middle name and his mom's first name. Oshki was the perfect furbaby for Annette.
In 2016, Annette had found out that she had stage 4 lung cancer. The week of June 25th, 2016, I (Sandra) came to Paris to spend a week with Annette and she told me on June 30th that when she died she wanted me to take Oshki. Annette passed away the next day on July 1st. Oshki went home with me and the rest is history. He has brought me so much joy. How could anyone not love him. His eyes were full of love.
In 2021 I went to work for Roden-Pryor Funeral Directors and Oshki started going to work with me every day. Oshki became the Grief Support Dog. Everyone that came in the funeral home LOVED Oshki. He brought lots of smiles to everyone who came in.
Oshki will be missed both at home and at the funeral home.
