Rev. Mike Barrett - May 27, 1954 - April 13, 2024

Departed: 04/13/2024 (Rocky Face)
Obituary Preview: Rev. Mike Barrett, age 69, of Tunnel Hill, GA, went to be with his Lord, Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Ridgewood Manor.
He was preceded in death by his father, J.C. Barrett, and his mother, Joann Bryant Barrett.
Reverend Mike Barrett was an active member of the North Whitfield Baptist Church for many decades. One of his greatest accomplishments was earning his ordination as a minister of the gospel so he might testify to his brothers and sister of the congregation.
His love of sharing the gospel was rivaled only by his passion for all things Georgia athletics. The Atlanta Braves will never have a more loyal and avid fan. Mike acted as a second father to his nieces, Trudy and Jennifer, and nephew, Jonathan. He loved his family immeasurably, and his greatest joy was knowing he would be with them all once more in the company of his heavenly Father.
He is survived by brothers and sisters-in-laws, Doug (Lisa Barrett) of Tunnel Hill, and Greg (Gina Barrett) of Ringgold; nieces and nephews, Trudy Barrett (Blake Edwards), Jennifer Barrett-Tatum (Erik Tatum), and Jonathan Barrett (Kathryn Barrett); Grand nieces and nephews Jayci Barrett, LoraLynn Barrett, Orrin Mynes, Madison Davis, McKenzy Davis and Jaxon Davis. The family would like to extend a special thank you to his wonderful Church family and all the staff at Ridgewood Manor for their love and care.
