Philip L Chard, of Vineland, NJ, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. He was 82 years old. Philip proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps. and spent over three years in Vietnam, and then served in the Marine Reserves until 1972.
He met the love of his life while working.  Dianne and Philip eventually both worked for Lockheed-Martin for over 30 years.  Philip was a maintenance mechanic at Lockheed-Martin, and truly loved his job.  In his spare time, he enjoyed working in his yard, making sure everything was in place.  He was always tending to his garden, and made sure the flowers he planted were blooming.
Loving husband of Dianne (nee: Mugrauer). Beloved father of Thomas L. Watkins and the late Linwood E. Watkins, Rodney A. Watkins, Woodrow W. Mugrauer and Mark A. Watkins. Devoted grandfather of Kayla Watkins (Ryan), Mark Watkins (Dannah) and Shawn Watkins (Melanie).  Great grandfather of Cameron Allen-Taylor, Sophia Allen-Taylor, Everleigh Allen-Taylor, Lane Watkins& Cole Watkins.
Dear brother to Delores Chard, Robert Chard (Jeannie), George Chard (Sharon) and the late William Chard, Florence Chard &  Ellen Peterson.  Brother-in-law of Connie M. Dail, Dorothy Howard and the late Mary Gross, Paul Gross and Woodraw Gross. Philip leaves behind many nieces, nephews and extended family.
The family will receive friends at Rocap Shannon Memorial Funeral Home  on July 17, 2024  from 10:30AM  to 12:00 PM.  Funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM.  Interment will be private.

Juaca was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico and spent most of her life there. She recently moved to Millville, N.J. to be closer to her family. Loving mother of  Maria Vizcarra (Roy), Antonio Morales (Judith), Adalberto Morales (Miriam), Rosa Morales (Anibal Rodriguez) and the Late Eduardo Morales (Wanda).  Cherished grandmother of Raymudo, Reynaldo, Yaritza, Antonio, Zuleyka, Xiomara, Yanire, Miriam, Adalberto, Dalitza, Eduardo, Nicole, Keila, Carlos & Joban and 32 loving great grandchildren. Dear Sister of many loving brothers and sisters, both living and deceased. "Juaca" loved to spend time with her family and friends.  She was always out and about, she didn't like sitting around, as she truly enjoyed spending quality time with her extended family & friends.  She will be deeply remembered for being the life of the party, as she was always dancing, entertaining and being an inspiration to all who loved her.  She was an amazing mother, and the best grandmother.  Her grandchildren will always remember how much she spoiled them!
