It was here he met the love of his life, Deborah Thomas. The two later married on June 8, 1985. Together they had a beautiful daughter, Fatimah. Anyone who knew Joe knew Fatimah was his pride and joy. And he had the same love for his two grandchildren Makayli and Micah. Joe spent many years working in different facets at the New Jersey Motor Vehicles and later in life found a love for driving trucks. Joe is survived by his wife Deborah (Thomas) Devlin, daughter Fatimah (Devlin) Pough, son in law Damian Pough, granddaughter Makayli Alexander, grandson Micah Bradley, granddaughter in law Kayleigh Pough, brother Damon Devlin, brother James Devlin, brother Clarence Devlin, brother Johnny Brown, wife Lynn Brown, a very special niece Gladys "Lady" Devlin as well as a host of other Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and friends. Joe was predeceased by his mother Gladys (Cantlow) Devlin, his father Jessie Brown Sr., his stepfather John Devlin Sr., brother John Devlin Jr., brother Jessie Brown, sister Brenda Wakefield.
