He married Fredia Nickell. She passed December 17, 2000.
Clifford was a lathe operator for Hyco Dana Co. for 21 years. He was a member of Ashland Christian Church. Clifford enjoyed hunting, collecting guns and old model cars. Clifford also loved listening to the band Heart.
Clifford will be deeply missed by his children Sara Rowland and Lorie (Mark) Kalman; grandchildren Nathan, Mark, and Aimie; great-grandchildren Jeffery, Katelynn, Justin, and Clifford.
Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Sheila, second wife Fredia, brothers Ralph and Luther, son Steven, daughter Holly, and granddaughter Jessica. Freda was born June 27, 1933 in Ashland to Clayton and Lena {Nelson} Rishel.
She married Roger D. Keiser on April 1, 1960.  He survives.
She worked for Peter Pan Playhouse and Headstrom for many years. Freda was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Savannah. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school, going to women’s bible study, helping with the church bus ministry, and worked with Map ministries. Freda devoted her life to the Lord and taking care of her family. She also enjoyed taking long walks, feeding the birds and squirrels, as well as gardening.
Freda will be deeply missed by her husband Roger; children Debbie (Ed) Walsh of MO, Craig (Linda) Watson of AZ, Nancy (Jim) Weilnau of OH, Shelley (Glenn) Kosiorek of TN, and Rod (Melissa) Keiser of AL; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Freda was preceded in death by her parents, first husband James Watson, who passed in 1957, son Curtice Watson, who passed in 1953, son James Watson who passed in 1957.

Mary was born February 21, 1936, in Clarksburg, West Virginia to Arthur and Mildred {Barnes} Carpenter. She attended school in Clarksburg
She married Walter Hollandsworth on October 22, 1955.  Shortly thereafter, they moved to Sullivan, Ohio.  Walter passed away on September 30, 2015.
Mary worked for Headstrom for over thirty years. She dedicated her life to serving the Lord and loving her family. She loved cooking, canning, reading the bible, and attending the events of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mary will be deeply missed by her children Larry (Connie) Hollandsworth, Terry Hollandsworth, Deb Bailey, Tammy (Jim) Mitchell, and Wayne (Guin) Gregory; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Grace Carpenter; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; five siblings; and two grandkids Michael and Zion.
Friends may call Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Sullivan Church of the Nazarene (Formerly Sullivan Christian Church) 495 US Route 224, Sullivan Ohio 44880.  Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Howard Russell officiating.  Burial will be at Southview Cemetery. As a young man, Carl joined the United States Army.  He served eight years, mostly in Germany.
After serving, Carl worked in many different industries, including McClure Oil in Indiana. Carl loved being out west and spent many years in Arizona and California. He preferred to be outdoors and spent most of his time camping, hiking, and watching nature.
Carl will be deeply missed by his daughter Lisa (Brian) Lash; grandchildren Emerson, Atticus, and Benaiah; and mother Shirley.
Carl was preceded in death by his father.

She rarely missed a game, concert, or event of her grandchildren. Rita also loved tending to her plants and flowers.
Rita will be deeply missed by her children Christine (Kevin) Meeting of Ashland, and Melinda Blankenship of Columbus; daughter-in-law Leslie Blankenship of Ashland; grandchildren Kameron (Brooklyn) Meeting, Mackensi Meeting, Morgan Meeting, Madison Meeting, Addilyn Blankenship, Bryce Blankenship, and Brooklyn McRae; brother Dan (Donna) Streit; sisters Mary Lou (Richard) Rogers, Dixie (Don) Derr, Donna Harper, Sonja Adams, and Becky Beck.

Philip L. Sattler - November 08, 1934 - May 09, 2022

Obituary Preview: Phil Sattler, 87, of Ashland, passed away _May 9, 2022.    He was born in Ashland to Harold and Marvel (Harman) Sattler.  He was a life time resident of Ashland, graduated from Ashland High School and then proudly served his county as a member of the U.S. Marine Corp.   Upon his honorable discharge he worked as a heavy equipment operator with the State Highway Department.  He then became a salesman for the Union City Chair Company, owned and operated the Beer Barrel and retired as an inspector for the State Highway Department.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge #151 F & AM, a member of BPOE #­_1360, a member of the VFW and the American Legion, Post # 88.   Phil was an avid hunter and took great pride in teaching his children and grandchildren proper gun safety and going hunting with them.   His biggest pride was his family and they had many adventures at the hunting camp in Pennsylvania.  After he sold the cabin he bought the property and built a pond.  The pond was the favorite gathering place for many, many parties and just a nice place to hang out, fish, sit around the fire and visit.
Phil is survived by long time companion, Eva Gregg; his daughter, Shelle Bauer; grandchildren, Todd (Hillary) Wertman, Tommy (Stacy) Bauer, Danny (Erica) Bauer, Kaley (Jason) Schumaker and Joey Bauer;  great grandchildren, Mason, Avery and Mady Bauer; Reece, Isla, and Dane Bauer; Patrick Workman; Nash Wertman and Sawyer Schumaker;  sons-in-law, Todd Wertman, Kenny Vogt and Tom Bauer;  Eva’s children, Larry (Tonya) Gregg, Connie (Mark) Starr and their children; the mother of his children, Amanda Rankin Richardson;  Nephews,  Tom, Tim and Trent Sattler and their families.   He was preceded in death by his parents;  son, Mike Sattler;  daughter, Stacey Vogt; and brother, Kenneth Sattler.

She was a member of Grace Church in Ashland and Christian Women. She was a Den Mother for her sons and enjoyed sewing and typing letters to her friends and family.
Rosemary will be deeply missed by her sons William (Jan) Johnson of Burbank, CA, Brian (Deb) Johnson of Lucas, Robert (Annette) Johnson of Ashland, and David (Robyn) Johnson of Perrysville; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Rosemary was preceded in death by a granddaughter, brothers Allen, David, and Billy Franks.
