Sean was a proud US Navy veteran who sailed the Seven Seas aboard the USS Wisconsin. He built many strong relationships with colleagues at the First National Bank of Chicago where he worked for 30 years.
Since his arrival in 1955, Sean was a pillar of Chicago’s southside Irish community and played an important role in keeping the Irish sport of hurling alive in the US.
He was a longtime member of the Chicago Harry Boland’s Hurling Club and the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). He was also an usher at Most Holy Redeemer Church and an avid gardener.
