He will be laid to rest at Biloxi National Cemetery in a private ceremony.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Miller and Lyllah (Norton) Miller; her loving husband, Mackie Fayard and her sister-in-law, Cathy (Thornton) Miller.
Carolyn is survived by her brother, CW05 USA, (Ret) William C. Bill Miller (Joye Travis); numerous nephews and nieces, Linda Rivenbark, Ronnie Smith, Arnie Smith, Cindy Rich, Mary Kleinman, Kathy Fayard, Susan Fulton,  David Fayard, Johnny Fayard, Janet McDonald, Sandra Jeschke, Alicia Frommeyer, Fran Blake, Mike Blake, Kim Blake, Robert Blake and a host of great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Carolyn was married to Mackie Fayard and remained with him until his death.  She always joked that despite all the folks who said it would never last, they were together until the end.
She was a proud graduate of St. John High School class of 1957, and attended the University of Southern MS.  She spent her career at Fayard Moving and Transportation.
She was a faithful member of St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Gulfport, MS where she took part in bible studies, prayer groups and the altar society.  She was awarded the Lumen Christi Award for her dedication there.  She was also an active supporter of St. Therese Catholic Church.

Leslie was a Lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and spent many years working in the shrimping industry and also held jobs in steel construction along with a lawn care business. Leslie was an animal lover with a soft spot for pitbull dogs. He enjoyed riding his Harley. He was very generous with his time and spent many days helping and looking after friends and family. He enjoyed morning coffee almost daily with his brother-in-law and friend, Kenny.
Leslie belonged to the Southern Independent Riders motorcycle club and was an avid supporter of the St. Jude Dream Day Foundation.

Darlene is survived by her children, Douglas Thigpen (Susan), Jeremy Thigpen (Nikki), Lloyd Craig, Shelia Craig, and Jennifer Sauls (Zachary); siblings, Pamela Haas Bilbo, and Rank Ratcliff (Cindy); grandchildren, Dominic Ladner, Emelia Craig, Allison Thigpen, Ashur Coffman, Stephen Ladner, Rachel Thigpen, and J’Lyn Thigpen; and a bunch of nieces and nephews.
Darlene loved family life and enjoyed spending time, cutting up, and having fun with family. She was a member of the North Long Beach Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 9-10am, Monday, January 23, 2023, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport. A funeral service will begin after the visitation at 10am. Interment is at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

Billie was a native of Biloxi and was a longtime resident of Gulfport.  She retired in 2020 as an Administrative Assistant to the Director of Clinical Support Services at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport.  She previously worked for NCNB Texas National Bank where she was an LPO Assistant and assistant to the CFO, an account assistant at Houston Multinational Dept, Phillips and White CPA’s, and Greenville High School in Memphis, TN.
Billie enjoyed card games (Phase 10), Yahtzee, dominoes, arts and crafts, baking, building family trees through Ancestry, and entertaining family. From her family: “You were the star that guided so many friends and family.  Your presence was noticed and remembered.  Now you can be at peace with all those gone before you.  Thank you for every single moment.  We were all so lucky!”

He loved fishing, drinking a few beers with his family and had a green thumb for gardening. Teddy loved his dogs and loved living life.

Obituary Preview: Natale John Tartamella, age 96, of Gulfport, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023, at his residence.
Mr. Tartamella was born in Brooklyn, New York, on April 19, 1926, to the late John Tartamella and Caterina Ciuffo Tartamella. He attended Brooklyn College, majoring in Chemistry, for ½ a semester, then he was drafted into the Army. He was a World War II veteran in the U.S. Army, serving from August 1944 to June 1946. He served in the European Theatre for 18 months as a Rifleman, Librarian, Messenger Dispatcher, Military Policeman and Mail Orderly. He was Honorably discharged in 1946 in Fort Dix, New Jersey. He was awarded the E-AM-E Campaign Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.  Following his discharge, he attended Kansas State University, earning his master’s degree in Paleontology. After he earned his degree, he worked for Chevron Oil Company in Texas and Louisiana and retired after 30 years.
Mr. Tartamella was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and of the Knights of Columbus.  He enjoyed cooking, drawing, collector of classical music & Broadway shows & plays.
Mr. Tartamella was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Annie B. Palumbo Tartamella; and his son, John S. Tartamella.  Survivors include his daughter, Catherine M. Tartamella Drube and her husband, Randy E. Drube; his sister, Nina Tartamella Kolhmorgen and her husband, William “Bill” Kolhmorgen; his grandchildren, Nathan R. Drube and wife Laura Fonseca Drube, Avery (Mark) Drube and Caleb E. Drube; and great-grandchildren, Kenzie Holly and Beckham Drube.
Friends are invited to join the family for visitation and services on Friday, January 20, 2023, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. Visitation will be held from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m., with the service following at 10:00 a.m.  He will then be laid to rest at New Palestine Cemetery in Picayune, with honors rendered by the U.S. Army.

A gathering of family and friends will be on Monday, January 16, 2023, from 9 – 10 am at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport.  A prayer service will be at 10 in the funeral home chapel.

Jack is survived by the love of his life, Carol McMinn whom he married on September 17, 1965; his four children and their spouses: Debra Woolsey and James Huntington Odom Jr.; Rachel Amelia and Andrew Wesley Browne; Jaye Scott and Dana Dunaway Kelly; Julie Amanda and Robert Jerome Calhoun; eight grandchildren: Lauren Gutierrez Chambers, Thomas Andrew and Lydia Cadaret Browne, James Huntington Odom III, Gabrielle Elizabeth Browne, Meghan Lynn Kelly, Hannah Grace Anding, Emily Elizabeth Calhoun, Molly Elizabeth Anding, Ian Kelly Calhoun, John Scott Kelly; three great-grandchildren: John Wesley Chambers, Emerie Lynn Mingo, and Mary Huntington Chambers; his sister, Jeri Pauline Randall.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca Elizabeth Kelly; his grandson Jack Kelly; his parents; and his sister Jean Linda DeCourcey.
Jack was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 22, 1939, to Elizabeth Warfel and Horace William Kelly. He received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and graduate degree from Boston University. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the United States Air Force on September 28, 1964 and served in Japan for three years during the Vietnam war and multiple overseas tours including Mildenhall, England and NATO Headquarters in Naples, Italy. Jack retired from the United States Air Force on December 31, 1984, and went on to serve the State of Louisiana’s Office of Telecommunications Management. He was never one to shy away from hard work, he financed his education by working as a merchant marine where he learned to love the ocean and distant shores, a passion that lasted throughout his life, leaving him with plenty of “sea stories” that he happily shared with friends and family alike.
He retired to Pass Christian, MS and devoted much of his time to community work. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Pass Christian where he served as a deacon, usher, and cemetery historian. Jack was an active member and President of the Pass Christian Historical Association, the Pass Christian Yacht Club, The Boys and Girls Club of America, as well as numerous other social and civic organizations. He was a man of many talents, a gifted musician, gardener, and although the love of his life couldn’t dance a step, he was an excellent dancer and appeared on American Bandstand. He was known in his community as a generous spirit, a patriot, a wonderful storyteller, and a dear friend to all.
The family will be forever grateful to all those who made Jack’s end of life comfortable. He passed the way he lived, quietly and peacefully. He will be laid to rest on January 27, 2023 in a private ceremony at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
The family requests donations to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer’s Research in lieu of flowers.

He was a native of Fowler, CO and current resident of Gulfport, MS. Donald retired from the USAF, 1954-1976. He loved the casinos!

Obituary Preview: Mark Stephen McCune, age 62, a veteran of the United States Navy and longtime resident of Long Beach, MS passed away Monday, January 9, 2023.
Mark, affectionately known as “Mac”, was born July 22, 1960, to George and Beverly (McCrea) McCune. He attended Kaiserslautern High School in Germany before enlisting in the U.S. Navy in 1979. As a Seabee for the Navy, Mark traveled the world spending time in Alaska, South Pole, California, China, Japan, Mississippi, and Oregon. He had many amazing stories of his time serving his country. Mark was a talented welder by trade and maintained multiple certifications in welding that served him well throughout his career. After retiring from the Navy in 2005, Mac continued to serve in a civilian capacity working for Gemini Tech where he provided training to new Navy recruits in welding.
Mac was preceded in death by his dad, George McCune; and his niece, Rachel McCune.
He is survived by his mother, Beverly McCune; partner, Angela Brewer; brother, Mike McCune (Angie); sister, Melody McCune; daughter, Caroline Brewer; niece, Gracie McCune; nephews, Chandler McCune & Robert Fitte; and three grandchildren, Graedyn Hosty, Brenden Cunningham, and Autumn Cunningham.
Mark Stephen McCune, loving son, partner, father, papa, uncle, brother, and friend passed away at age 62. He was best known for his quick-witted humor, BIG heart, and generous spirit. Mac lived near many good friends who helped to fill his life with joy. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Rd. Gulfport, MS, with visitation starting at 3:00 p.m. Reception will follow at the funeral home reception center.
