Obituary Preview: It is with great sadness that the Sgrignoli family announces the passing of 83 year old Rodger E. Sgrignoli Sr. He passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at his home surrounded by his wife Ruth of 60 years and children. He was born in Enola on January 1, 1939 to Joseph and Fortuna Sgrignoli. Rodger is survived by his children, Rodger (partner Kristy) , Renee (Brian), Jacqueline (Tom) , Douglas (partner Jen) and Todd (Sykiu), seven grandchildren, Alicia (Harsh), Jacqueline (Franchesco), Allie (Manuele), Christian, Eric, Ty (partner Alyssa) and Francesco. He is also survived by two great- grandchildren Juliana and Kiann. Rodger is survived by one sister Susie Hockenberry and was preceded in death by nine brothers and three sisters. Rodger graduated in 1956 from Enola High School. He joined the ARMY in 1957. After leaving the military he worked for the PRR until retirement. Rodger coached baseball for EPYAL from pony to teener level and also coached in the Keystone Games. He was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, a member of Enola Sportsman’s Club and the Mechanicsburg Men’s Club.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held, Friday, April 22, 2022 at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church 225 Salt Rd. Enola. A viewing will be held from 10:00 am until time of service in the church. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.

Obituary Preview: Kooper Estright, 18 of Enola PA passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022. Kooper was the son of Jason and Christine Estright of Enola, PA. Kooper was a senior at East Pennsboro Area High School.
Kooper was an outstanding student with many talents. Kooper worked for two amazing businesses Servkore and Magaro’s Auto Sales and Towing which he enjoyed. He loved working with his hands and mind and could fix anything he touched. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Kooper was also extremely passionate about hunting, fishing, and playing his guitar. He was a member of Copper Sun, a band formed by him and his high school friends.
Kooper’s memory will be cherished by his mother (Christine), father (Jason), sister (Lily), his mimi and pappy Michael and Kathy Miller, his Grandma Apryl Estright, his favorite Aunt and Uncle Gwen Miller and Adam Balaguer, and lots of other aunts, uncles cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday April 16, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Richardson Funeral Home LLC., Enola. A viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. until time of service in the Funeral Home. If you would like to dress in honor of Kooper, wear your favorite band shirt.

Gary L. Box - April 20, 1945 - April 07, 2022

Obituary Preview: Gary L. Box left this world on Thursday, April 7th just two weeks shy of his 77th birthday.!
He was born on April 20, 1945, in Echo, PA to mother Esther (Snyder) father Eli Box and raised by his step-father, Elsmer Gregory who have preceded him in death.  He was also preceded his death by his older brother, Earl and wife Donna. Gary graduated from Triangle Valley High School in 1963 and shortly thereafter left for the U.S. Navy where he served from 1963 to 1969.  He was assigned to the U.S.S. Tidewater and later to the Pentagon. Upon discharge he made his way to Harrisburg and eventually became employed by the Commonwealth of PA until his retirement in 2004.
After retirement he joined the Mechanicsburg Sportsman Club and enjoyed shooting trap and wobble with his buddies.  He was also a member of the American Legion Post 109. Gary enjoyed the simple things in life, hanging out with "his girls", dinner with special friends, family picnics and Cancun, his favorite vacation spot since retirement..Gary is survived by "his girls" wife, Sandra (Frohm) of 37 years, daughters, Stacey and partner Brian Ansell of Enola, Courtney and partner Brian Cartwright of Harrisburg and his beautiful granddaughter Bethany Ansell. Also surviving are his brother Ken (Janet) of South Fork, PA, brothers-in-law, John (Linda) Frohm, Florida, Tony (Kim) Frohm, Shippensburg, sisters-in-law Cindy Fogelsanger, Florida, Shelia Miller, Shippensburg and his "other girl" Janie (Byron) Magee, and his mother-in-law Nancy Frohm, Chambersburg, as well as many nieces and nephews.The family would like to offer a special "thank you" to Homeland Hospice for their care and compassion over the past month especially Heather and her team.  Gary was treated with the dignity, compassion and love that he deserved. Born August 26, 1952 at Harrisburg Hospital, she was the daughter of the late Russel L. and Helen M. Romberger) Holtzman of Mechanicsburg. Sally is survived by her life partner of 21 years Shirley Spunaugle, brothers Tom and Larry Holtzman and extended family. Sally graduated from Mechanicsburg High School then began working with the Department of Labor and Industry before leaving for self employment in a leather working business with her husband Larry Bowen. After 10 years she moved on and settled in working at Diocesan Publications where she finished out her career. Sally was a private person and independent thinker who enjoyed intelligent conversations with a variety of people from all backgrounds. She was a complex person who led a simple life. Her favorite things were hanging out, having fun, the ocean, animals of all kinds but especially schnauzers, listening to music and her favorite artist James Taylor, Tony Romo and all things Dallas Cowboys. For those that knew her, she would want you to remember her laughter and fun times had by raising your glass and yelling GO COWBOYS! The one thing she could never understand was how the world could judge a person’s worthiness by their social status. May she finally be at peace which she so desperately longed for. She attended Zion Lutheran Church of Enola. Judith is survived by her husband, Allen H. Mundis Jr. of 62 years; her son, Keith A. Mundis and his wife, Kristi (Dahr) of Dillsburg; her daughter, Kathy A. (Mundis) Furr and Kathy’s husband Durand (Randy) of New Cumberland; and her three Grandchildren; Hannah G. Mundis, Sophie O. Family was always a priority with ‘Gram’ as she was known as to many. She is survived by her sister Esther Barrick; her four children Kim, James, Brian, Dennis; her nine grandchildren Ashley, Brandyn, Jacob, Alyssa, Andrea, Matthew, Allison, Annilee, Avery; and her five great-grandchildren, Chloe, Alexander, Sarah, McKenna, and Cole. June was born January 23, 1934 in Shermansdale, PA and worked at the Navy Ships Parts Control Center (formerly known as the Naval Inventory Control Point) site in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania until she retired at age 55 to take care of her parents and help raise her first grandchild. She loved to read and travel, going for scenic drives all around the area whenever she could.  June always wanted her home to be a home for anyone who needed it. The friends of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren gravitated to her for her unconditional love and welcoming. She ran her household with unrelenting compassion for everyone. Continuing her goal of love and compassion, she donated her body to the teaching hospital at Penn State Hershey so she could help up and coming medical students. A celebration of June’s life will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 2pm until 5pm at the Enola Fire Company 118 Chester Road, Enola, PA 17025.The family has requested no flowers to be sent. Marcia was a graduate of East Pennsboro High School class of 1962 and graduate of Central Penn Business School. She was the daughter of Harold Eugene Wingert Sr. and Dorothy (Cooper) Wingert. She was an accomplished golfer, racquetball player and enjoyed going to camp in the summer and fall. Marcia loved hunting, fishing and shooting. Marcia worked for the Jackson Wheelbarrow Company and also the Book of the month Club. Marcia is survived by her husband Dennis Shrauder of 51 years and the proud mother of Brian Arthur Shrauder whom she loved dearly and his wife Lynn Shrauder, a step granddaughter Sara Huff and great-granddaughter Hailee Huff, a brother Harold Eugene Wingert and the loving cousins of the Leverance family. Marcia will always be known as Maurie to her friends and family, but to her  father and husband she will always be their tootsie. Obituary Preview: In loving memory of Ronald E Tibbens Sr. 82, was born in a sunny day of May. The son of Helena Crone and William Tibbens. Ron enjoyed his life until passing peacefully with his family by his side.  Memories of Ron can be remembered by all. He had a way of touching peoples hearts.  Ron loved fishing, hunting, his dogs, chocolate marshmallow ice cream, gambling and mostly westerns. He was a loving man, friend and father that also served our country in the armed forces.  Surviving are his two sisters and one brother: Ruby Mabry, Bonnie Fickes (Kenny) and Jim Tibbens (Barb).  Three sons and one daughter: Ronald (Susan) Tibbens, Steven Tibbens, Michael Sr (Jean) Tibbens, Michelle (Steve) Bridges.  Seven grandchildren: Michael Tibbens Jr., Amber Tibbens, Ashley Tibbens, Kortney Petry, Christopher Tibbens, Alexander Tibbens, Owen Hughes, his wife Mary, and her two children Margie and Mark, several neices, nephews and great grandchildren. He was retired from Roadway Express.  He enjoyed NASCAR and dirt track races, fishing, and being around family and friends on vacations.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Mary J. Rhoades; daughter, Sherry L. Boudreau and husband, Jason; daughter, Mary C. Freeland and husband Shane; son, Joseph E. Rhoades IV; and four grandchildren.
A service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 7, 2022 at Richardson Funeral Home LLC, Enola.  Visitation is 10:00am to 11:00am and burial follows in Resurrection Cemetery in Harrisburg.

Most important, she was a lover of her Cats, and spending time with her family at Disney World. She was born in West Fairview, PA, raised in Enola & Summerdale, and graduated from Enola High School Class of 1951 where she played field hockey and basketball, and helped organized their class reunions for years. She was a member of the Summerdale United Methodist church, where she was the Choir Director for over 60 years. Jane loved to sing! She sang througout school with the choirs, served in several other churches as a soloist and director, and directed the UM Pastor's Wives chorus "Peace, Joy and Love."  She also loved spending time with her family, and loved to travel with her husband Jim. Jane was best known for her affectionate hugs!
Jane is survived by her husband of 69 years, Lloyd "Jim" Jackson, her daughter  Joni (Arty) Beahm of Summerdale, Grandchildren Nathan (Sherry Brewster) Beahm of Lebanon and Jennifer (Dave) McCorkle of Halifax, Great-Grandchildren Christopher, Ian, Dakota, Katelyn, Elaine and David, and 6 Nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Janelle Jackson Hersh, her parents Rex and Martha Brestle, and her sister Inez Brestle Wertz.

Jean (Davidson) Shomsky. George was an employee for PHEAA, and was currently employed by Ensono Corporation of Harrisburg, as a computer systems analyst.  He was a member of the Newport-Tennis Masonic Lodge #381 F&AM. George was a member of the St. George Byzantine Catholic Church in Aliquippa, PA where he served as an Alter Boy. George is survived by his wife Karen M. (James) Shomsky of 31 years, his sister’s and brother’s ; Kathy Dayeen (the late Steve Dayeen), of Riverside, CA, Karen Harmon (Jerry Harmon) of Boardmen, OH, Edward Shomsky (Jacqueline) of Monaca, PA, Richard Shomsky of Pittsburgh, PA,  Mary Jean Schwarz (Keith) of New Castle, PA, a brother and sister-law Ken and Joy James of Mars, PA, and his mother-in-law, Sandra James, also several nieces and nephews.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
